Yes, also here in Europe the original red squirrels are smaller than the American gray squirrels... 🐿️ The other problem is that they have a virus which exterminated millions of European squirrels and being bigger are more likely to find the best food and to survive during the winter... In some European countries we have only American squirrels nowadays. 😰
