I remain in shock how Christians behave towards Muslims. I lived a Christian life for a long time, almost 50 years; but when I married a Muslim man, I was introduced to Islam. I received ridicule from "so-called" Christian preachers that preach the gospel. What exact gospel are they preaching. Islam teaches peace and love, and as one comment said below, Muslims love Jesus (peace be upon him) more than Christians. If a Christian really loved Jesus, would he/she treat others as such. It's about Allah and Allah alone. Allah sent messengers, peace be upon them, to give us a message. I am grateful and at peace with my conversion to Islam and I love my husband; he has treated me better than any man, besides my father. The "Christian" man I had married, cheated and beat me and the other boyfriend that was "Christian" also did the same. My husband now would never think of doing either. Thank you Allah! Allah always has the last word and His way will be, Inshallah!

After much consideration it occurs to me that while there are both good people and bad in all facets of human society we need to rise above our differences be kind and understanding with each other and stop the hatred, violence, violations of basic human rights and treat each other with respect. Considering that God gave life and breath to each of us and it is His decision to continue to give it.
I went to the heart doctor yesterday and a young Muslim woman was there with her baby. The baby clearly had something wrong physically I felt compassion for both the mother and child. Those kinds of deformities are wrought with many painful operations and heart aches. I prayed God would help them because I felt God's compassion in my heart. I did not know them but God does. He knows all of us!

Islam reforms the Society like no other . Gives human Rights like no other. Just enter the Mosque and see the people praying to the One God of All. The Prince and Pauper , Black and White , Rich and Poor on a first come first in line basis , stand on one level in front of the Creator or this Universe. All in One Line , One level offer prayers and ask for protection and guidance to live the righteous life. to reform self , family and society. One God , One Humanity and to be Egalitarian. If we Muslims behave like Muslims and improve our lives and those of others , then there will be no drinking, no drugs , no killings related to the two. Thus the problem of overcrowding of the Prison should be resolved. Rather the Prison industry will be shut down, if righteous life is lead.
People are desperate to get rid of the drug habits , try this rehab and that rehab, and still fail. Try Islam and see how it saves lives . Very Simple for the Love of God , you follow his recommendations , the Loving God who has created us , also has recommended what is good for us and recommended to avoid what is bad for us . So when the recommendation to not eat pork, and dead meat, not to consume drinks that intoxicate etc. You accept it , and your life becomes beautiful . As easy as that.

Not only the life of black but that of white and yellow and brown and red gets reformed , by just following one of few rules of Islam, that is the non use of drugs or alcohol or any intoxicants ( meth, opium etc) , this itself will effect a beautiful change in life , will reform life for the better , for the man his woman and his children. You do not have to become a Muslim , have beard or wear a kufi or Yalmuka , over the head, accept the good principles that are meant to help humanity. There are billion plus Muslims in Islam, if one more becomes it does not makes a difference to Islam , but it might make a difference in one 's own life, the life of his mother , sister , daughter and when he is ready to marry his wife . Thus family is strengthened and community and country is strengthened. Other wise do you not see Country is getting weakened by loosing young Men to gun violence, Drug violence, Hiv disease, and to top it all the self generated Wars , where in the Youth is getting wiped out.
America will not get destroyed but will get resurrected by resurrecting the family life of each American , be they black or white or red or brown or yellow.
There is no such thing in Islam as : Black Muslim or White Muslim or yellow Muslim or Red Muslim or brown Muslim.

Or Is it because it tells to tell the truth , live and die with honesty, earn a lively hood with honesty only. Eat only Halal or rightfully earned food ( only in other words only Kosher food)?
Or Is it because it tells you to not to get overhelmed with debt : by giving predatory interest rate loans , giving or taking such Loans, is prophibited. So such a life style will take the shirt off of the back of the Man ( white or black). Such a life styel, takes away the house, it ruins the family life of black white and brown and red..life . Is it because the predatory shark cannot fool the innocent anymore . Such Loan sharks act as LEECH to the common man, sucking the hard earned money away , sucking their blood away. Is that what hurts the Leeches, to see common people improve their life .?
Or is it because Qur'an states : do not kill your new born or unborn children for the fear of lack of food. Fear not , for WE ( God ) are the ONE's who provide food for you and your child.?
Or Is it because it says : do not kill anyone , if you do kill a innocent soul it is like killing the entire humanity, and vice versa, if you save a life it is like saving the entire humanity.
Or Finally it teaches in Qur'an : Piety is to believe in 1) ONE God, and the last day of Judgement , and his holy BOOKS ( Torah, Bible and Qur'an), 2) and for the love of God to give your earning to help out the poor , the needy, the orphans, the wayfarer , to free slaves, and to give to those who ask. 3) Who prays and gives Charity taxes , so other too could enjoy life by reducing the disparity between the rich and poor. 4) and keeps the promise when made one. 5) To stay patient and to be persistant in trials and tribulations of life and in times of stress.
This is how it transforms the human to be more close to angels. Where going the opposite way takes you closer to the devil.
So now what is wrong is taking and getting benefitted by the principles of Islam.

They are doing what christians did post jesus and what protestants did in europe. I applaud their effort. There is no God but the God.
I praise the Nation of Islam for the positive effects it's had on black
communities - uplifting young black men to stop joining gangs and
committing genocide against their own people, for instance. But this
indoctrination or belief system that Islam is more Afrocentric or akin
to blacks in the "struggle", and Christianity is the white man's
religion that teaches them to be meek pacifists, is nonsense. Muhammad
Ali, for example, would refer to his birth name 'Cassius Clay' as his
slave name and Muhammad as a more suitable name for a "strong black
man." Yet the historicity of Arab culture being synonymous with
Sub-Saharan Africa is a complete misconception. During the Muslim
conquests, these Arab dynasties from the Middle East actually captured
and sold slaves themselves. So to profess to be a black Muslim as a
source of pride is foolish. Rather, we should revere and adhere to the
teachings of Christ who championed those held in captivity.
There is no prophet after Muhammad (pbuh). This is integral part of Islam anyone who violates the finality of the prophet is not Muslim as per Islam.

I had nothing against Islam but I don't like being harassment or being molested by any one due to their religious/religion. And I always wonder if so many people want to live in a freedom country but yet they want to brought kabale attitudes in a freedom country, than it is not acceptable..

What I understand is that the white Americans treated the black Americans not in line with expectations of human dignity but I think there was an apartheid in society visible which disturbed harmony and happiness in the lack of loving faith in Allah.

I am not a practicing Muslim, but I am compelled to say that orthodox Islam with its black Ummah has not, to a great degree, addressed the on-going problems of the black population. Many of those professed Muslims are seeking favor with Arabs, and Pakistanis via the garb and the traditional concepts. The Nation of Islam, say what you will about them, have consistently and fearlessly opposed all injustices, particularly, against black Americans.
Plus, it has been stated with some measure of truth that these jail Muslims are accepting Islam as a means of cover for various reasons.
To be strongly candid, orthodox Muslims, are more accommodating to the American system, and that applies around the world. They are too passive
and culturally sensitive.
