Hey Bryan- I used those same casters on my Roubo workbench (about 350 pounds), but I connected two on each end together with a piece of square tubing so that two wheels engage the floor simultaneously to avoid single point loading one corner. It works great with one foot press, same to disengage. Safer too, and easier on the casters. Cheers

I saw those as well, and time will tell with the stand. I did double laminate 2 pieces of 3/4 inch plywood, so it has 1.5 inches of support. The sides are attached with the screws and titebond which I believe titebond has a strengh level above 3,700lbs per square inch. But none of that matters if it doesn't hold up! :)

Be careful adding that much weight to your doors; the torque to the hardware when they are in motion and the friction that happens inside the hinge wears it down really fast. If you have ever been in a house with disabled people that bear a lot of weight down on door handles, you should inspect the hinges and the reveal around the door; usually the top and bottom hinges are worn a little funny from pressure always hitting them in one direction

@@FlynndoggWoodwork I hope someone will test it in a very scientific manner and do it seriously. If we use TiteBond III, we're spending money for glue that is not as good IMHO.

Could you be a little more scientific with your testing? As an example, tell us the weight of the items that you are hanging from the magnetic hooks...

This is very true. But I’ve had one Amana crap out on me already. So I’ve already bought once and cried once with it unfortunately. 😞

Often budget tools will perform as well or on occasion even better. The tools in my shop range from budget tools to the best. “Cheap” tools range from dumpster fill to exceptional buys.

They need to make casters that have a "gator" magnet, so they are detachable. Good content as usual, just need to lose that silly Bert character. It detracts from your good hearted nature and messaging.

Thanks so much Brad, that would be awesome woudln't it to have magnets that strong! Thanks for your feedback as well.

Those wheels do not last on anything heavy. Would not recommend.
