Thanks for the thorough review Laureli, Blink has been on my radar. You revealed the pros and cons well. If you are still seeking a serious formal professional spanish school, then I suggest CSA Antigua Guatemala. The Christian Spanish academy, don't let that title turn you away, it was originally set up for missionaries but they serve anyone that is a serious student like you. Buena Suerte.

Hi, I was highly considering doing BLINK for their cheap accom and meals package , tho I am a tad skeptical because I want to learn spanish full time there (not party much) and am worried the school doesn’t have enough areas to study uninterrupted etc as I will be in the dorm rooms. Do you still recommend this for that or did other travellers have other schools they highly recommended over this one for the intense learning experience.

Hello! I think it is worth trying for one to two weeks to see how you like it. It would be a good starting point to get acclimated to the city and meet other travelers. They do have a small library/study area, or you can find other little places to hide and study. However, as mentioned there are travelers there to social as it is a hostel as well. Perhaps just pay for one week, and if you don't like it, you can switch to another school. If you are looking for a purely academic setting the university EAFIT would be a great choice for you. Keep in mind though for any choice, that Colombian administration typically works slower than what you may be used to as an American (if you are American), so always good to have the next week well planned ahead when enrolling ;-)
