Any likenesses or similarities with the work or creations of other magicians, creators or artists are purely coincidental. I believe that there is nothing new under the sun… When likeminded artists with similar ambitions attempt to achieve all of the wonderful and amazing things that are possible with a deck of playing cards, obviously similarities will occur and similar problem-solving individuals, will inevitably reach the same conclusions and arrive at the same destinations. It then becomes a matter of who came first?

Daniel I'm a medical school student, started doing some slight of hand thanks to youtube and the beautiful community that revolves around this platform. I instantly fell in love with your playing cards and I always dreamt of owning one of your decks, so I decided to find the gold kings. Now that my collection is enriched with this pearl I started to look for more, so I pre ordered the Pink Madison Advocates as soon as I knew I had the possibility of grabbing a deck.
Your arrival on youtube has been so captivating for me, your content at the start was (and still is) great food for thought. The start of your new era of tutorial and slight of hand guidance for me as a newbie has been pure gold.
I need your tips to improve s
ince I'm not very confident about my slight of hand moves. I started practicing more and more, I dared myself to use your riskiest techniques to put me on the spot. This weekend, in fact, I managed to entertain my friends at a birthday and I got called out (my biggest fear) only twice during the whole night. It might seem really dumb for me to say all of this, but overcoming this fear means a lot to me, even more when I think about doing magic to my future patients in the hospital.
I've been an actor, I've been put on the spot often, but doing magic is a different ballpark.
    It's my dream.
Thank you for making it real.

Madison you're an absolute MADLAD and a real inspiration. Your decision to produce high quality long form CZcams tutorials has been a turning point in my magic career. It's originally because of you I started using a gamblers cop instead of a tenkai palm, it was you all those years ago who taught me the power of The Advocate. Over the past few months have released banger after banger after burger. I'm yet to incorporate any into my performances but that's only because I respect the moves enough that I know they require proper practice before implantation. Thomas Merton said "Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time." Art is about the emotional power of an object or an act, the sense of wonder I get from some of the things you do with a deck of cards is like standing in an art gallery in front of that one painting that just draws you in. My favourite has been the wheel change.

Fail forward! I am into card tricks just for a few weeks now. The first video i saw from Daniel was 'the mad switch' and the intro blew my mind. It was a f 'swear word' miracle as he says. I practiced it for a few days, went to my family, tried it, messed up 3 or 4 times and then i went to someone else and it worked. You should have seen the face of this person. She was blown away. Taking that risk and failing before was absolut worth this single moment. I didn't think i could get away with copping the card in my palm because obviously i am far from clean with this move but because of misdirection i could and created a miracle. Fanx Daniel ;)

Everything makes so much sense now! Susan is a Yankees fan!!
In more seriousness, anyone who complains about the length of your videos can go eat a sausage. When you talked about messing up in front of spectators, that really spoke to me. I have been nervous and hesitant to perform for strangers since I got back into magic because I am afraid of messing up and embarrassing myself in front of people. I always tell myself that I need to practice more because convincing the spectator that magic isn't dead seems really difficult. While I still think that burden is huge and important, I now realize one of the best forms of practice is doing magic and sleight of hand in real situations. Mirrors are great but you don't know how sleights and angles will really work on different people (or when you're nervous) until you do it. Thanks so much for keeping that in there and not editing that out to make the video shorter.
You always say FANX for spending time with you, but FANX for spending time working for us. FANX for taking the time you need to rest to make sure that you can still keep teaching. FANX for making the community so much better with every video. FANX for having a large hand in getting me back into magic and sleight of hand. And lastly, but definitely not leastly(what?), FANK for bringing the Malliance together.

This is such a great video! Being from a practice magician in a place (Papua New Guinea) where magic and deception is almost always stereotyped to something satanic, its not really encouraged to do magic. But that split second when you make a random person feel like a 3 year old with eyes filled with wonder and believes that anything is possible... Those are the moments I really live for.

I KNOW DANIEL WILL NOT SEE THIS BUT STILL-
I literally became a fan of you from past a month or two, the trick you taught on this channel named controller is my favourite, it is like my go to effect. Earlier when I used to perform for someone I got blank on what trick to show even if I knew about more than fifty tricks( I think it happens with everyone who starts performing) but now I just remember one thing DANIEL and I just perform Controller, the prediction blows their mind and makes me little bit comfortable to perform my next trick which is ofcourse again one of yours Perfect Pair, this one is difficult as it includes gambler's cop as I don't have much public handling skills but your 30 to 40 minutes tips are worth listening to, which also got great reaction and then I have enough confidence on me to go my third which is either angle zero or ambitious card if I am not ready for the setup.
Love you man, you helped me overcome my public fear

Thank you. Thank you for elevating everyone's deceptive practices with your incredibly in-depth videos. I do have your edition of "The Expert at the Card Table" and I am enjoying it, but it is such a heavy read (like most magic books) that it is very rarely inspiring to work through. Your videos, for me, are very easy to follow and because of that, they are highly motivating and push me to learn "harder" slights. I've been taking more risks lately with palming and gamble's cop and last Saturday I handed out the deck for the first time with my dirty hand, and it worked! That is thanks to you for putting emphasis on the importance of managing your spectator at the same time as acting like you have nothing to hide and that you aren't doing anything. Can't wait for my copy of 52. Congratz on the 50k. Been here since Magic is DEAD. See you at 100k. //Voxda

Exactly what the doctor ordered. Daniel Madison being a complete goofball with a bunch of party poppers. I absolutely love it!
I also am going to use the hell out of this move. I had been trying to figure something similar out and Magic Danny has already done all of the work! Awesome. one more thing to occupy my mind.
    FANX!
PS Suzan... HMU Sugartits! That Mad guy doesn't treat you like I would... You are a Lioness. A lovely creature worthy of worship and adoration. Do you like butter? I have that, too. And Netflix.

It’s pretty inspiring to see your journey from a far. From the lows I read about in Magic Is Dead, to seeing you committing to full time CZcams, and to see the passion you have for the art, truly inspiring.

Deception is an inherently selfish practice, but much like love, it can contribute and inspire enough to where it revolves to being selfless.
Congrats on the 50k, Maddy. Thanks for all you do and inspire in all of us

Dear Daniel, what can I say? I'm not really surprised that you've reached 50 000 subs that quickly. Your content keeps getting better and better with every video you make. Your original way of explaining things makes it really fun and simple to learn and practice. And even if some people are saying that your videos are too long, I think that the knowledge and skill inside these videos makes them worth watching at least twice.
You've inspired me to keep getting better.
I wish you the best on the way to 100 000 subscribers!

You inspire me so much...i had become bored with my life and in the past year or so have picked up playing cards and found a new passion. However everyone i watch has become so similar and i felt myself slipping yet again. Then i stumbled across you. I look forward to anything you put on here and i would be honored beyond words if i won those cards. I guess I am shooting in the dark against 50 K other people however i just feel like maybe just maybe the universe would actually smile upon me through you. Fanx all the way from the motor city USA..

Congratulations on the 50k! I'm a pretty lazy person regarding learning new things, but I only needed 2 videos from you just to get myself a deck of cards and start practising right away, and to appreciate so much more all the work and creativity hiding behind card magic. You are amazing and I love the unique style of your videos, keep it up!

    You said “make me think”...
Alright, then how about this: YOU made ME think. Almost in every video, no matter if it’s a tutorial or one of those deep inner thought videos. Tbh you broke a circle I was caught in, just by seeing you fooling around, showing that there can be so much more happening in life, you just really have to go for it.
I’ve learned a lot from you, and I’m not talking bout sleights in general. You changed it all for me and I wanted to say thank you. So think about that... you changed a life for the better ❤️
