8321 Durian Plantation, Teluk Bahang! Balik Pulau is too far, can get superb Capri durians here!

My plan was to go to Anjung Indah or Balik Pulau for durians today but the hot weather made me lazy, so we decided to search for nearby durian spots in Penang. We drove to Teluk Bahang via Batu Feringghi because I knew at least 4-5 farms were along the way.
We spotted 8321 Durian Plantation right after the dam and stopped because I had not tried their durians before. The prices were a bit higher, more similar to prices in Tg. Bungah and Pulau Tikus area than Balik Pulau prices, however the fruits were good grades in terms of size and we could see many old trees in the plantation. Worth a visit for good quality Capri which was exceptional in terms of flavour and texture.
Ahhhh, this was where u discovered Capri. Could see you had that durian in a few other durian feasts. Now durian season almost over....last chance Bro 😂

When I was living in Malaysia they don't weight the durians when you buy them. We don't realize what we miss when we don't have them anymore.
Yes, same when I was young. We could get a big sack of kampung durians for 20-30 ringgit. Now 1 durian can cost up to more than a hundred or two hundred!
Are durians getting expensive in Malaysia since they started exporting them to other countries.
They were at the peak around 2015-2018, then the pandemic came, and also China started planting their own, so prices have gone down again.
