Mavrick employment AV8-B:
1. Master Arm - ARMED
2. STRS Page: Select "IRMV" (Starts cooldown if not done, will take approx 3 mins, shows "RDY" in bottom left when cooled)
3. Verify "A/G Master Mode" (Automatic on when stores selected)
4. Locate target using DMT - Sensor Select Aft twice, TV view follows velocity vector on HUD
5. Move velocity vector onto area of target and press "TDC Action/Depress" - This will lock view to ground indicated by a square on the HUD (This step is missed in the video but vital)
6. Use TDC Slew to locate target on DMT
7. Uncage Maverick - Uncage button
8. In order to control maverick, you must press "Sensor Select Forward", "IRMV" will be indicated in the top left of both MFCD's as well as boxed on HUD (as shown in video)
9. When in range, press "TDC Action" to lock target. lock is indicated by full crosshair on Maverick view (As shown in video)
10. Fire ze missile.
Step 5 I️ do not do, I️ do however hold it when I️ start slewing to increase the slew speed, but it is not pressed with the velocity vector

The procedure is a bit simpler than A-10C, but I can't lock moving targets with MAV IR sensor. This makes the MAV D useless. Any suggestions?
Have tried moving targets, if it’s not working now maybe because it’s early access
I can't sensor select forward, when im going into control options/keybinds, the sensor select forward is red. It is not working when im pushing the keybind. help please.
Fixed, you need to delete your dcs file at saved games.
Will you be doing a tutorial for the mav-H or is it essentially the same as the D? Id be interested to see if we can use force correlate on H like in the A10c

Thanks for the vid. Question: when I engage the DMT my tv display is in nvg of a flir looking more not a daylight tv display. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for this! I can't get the Maverick to launch. I've got it all down, lock, switch to forward sensor and....nothing. Trigger is bound properly and right alt + space doesn't work either.
Might be missing tdc action to lock
Yes. I want to say that's the problem. So I pressed after switching to forward sensor but still nothing. Then I pressed it while attempting to launch. Nada. Arghhh!
When I slew the dmt I hold the Action button because it slews faster, this auto locks the target when I release it, try that, also in your steps you didn’t list uncaging thebmaverick, perhaps this is what you are missing
Why is your DMT in BW and not in green? Also how do you slow down the slew speed of the DMT?
Was early release, it changed to green after this video. At the time of making this, there was no TDC axis slew, so i was using key bindings, which are slower.

How did you lock the DMT on the ground? pressed a button? (1:07)
Just start slewing it.
Oh as soon as you move it it'll lock position. That's cool. I presume there's a return to 0 button someplace (equiv to the chinahat back long for the A10...)
Well you have to push the TDC Down to lock, but if you hold it while slewing you slew faster, this is what i do. That way when you are doing slewing it locks too.
I don't think the IR Mavs lock onto the target automatically any more (in range or otherwise). It requires a Press of the Action Button. And I think we now have to Uncage each missile independently between each shot.
I wish it were still this simple.
Sensor select aft two times....where?? I don't see you pushing anything?
Its on the stick (on my hotas, which is why you dont see it)
I feel like my DMT slews very slow compared to yours and mine doesn't work well going diagonally. hmmmmm

Perhaps you are using TDC Down (Action Position) rather than TDC Action/No Action

For me the DMT won't slew.
You can’t use the axis binding
I used the assigned keys which were YUIJ
