Nice! Always good to see an everyday apartment setup for the "normal" people...😁
Nice set up man
Thanks
This is the best video on upgrades as this guy is in an apartment ! Most of us also are in small inexpensive spaces. we do not have lots of money to spend. This system was smart worthy. I personally would like to see reasonable home theate systems for the rest of normal folks with normal pockets.
I couldn’t agree more, that’s why I started just to let people know you don’t have to be a millionaire to have a good home theater for yourself. It’s truly about what you love and like about your own space.
this the best APT SETUP IVE SEEN
Thanks I really appreciate that!
Hi Steve. Still rocking that space even harder! My sister has that playstation portal with all the accessories, and she loves it. Nice to see your changes. Thanks.
Care to show us how you have stuff hooked up? Like the connections between your Blu-ray and consoles and TV etc.
Great set up my man, nothing wrong with your small space, i love how well you got everything organized. I’m rocking a 5.1.2 all klipsch RP - II with SVS Sub and Elevation for my Atmos powered by my Denon Receiver . Dope channel subbed 👍
Much appreciated, how does the SVS sound?
@@StevetheTechBro SVS Sub PB-1000 w/ the Elevations sound fantastic, this Single Sub its so clean and powerful I could add a second one if I wanted to but this just makes it feel like it’s unnecessary at least for me and my space.
@@BigBoss9696 thanks for that information much appreciated. I’m think about getting one.
Really nice!!
Let’s go bro 💪🏾💪🏾🔥🔥🔥 good job !!
I am always concerned about home theatres in apartments, how do you fully enjoy the audio in an apartment without disturbing your neighbours?
I have just competed my Klipsch speaker collection, and I am looking to install it very soon.
Well it’s a townhouse and I lucked up because the wall aren’t paper thin. And before my neighbors moved in, while the guys was fixing up the house they let me step into their home as I blasted my system to see if I heard anything and shockingly I heard nothing 🤷🏽♂️🤔🤔🤔
@@StevetheTechBro OK thanks, here in the UK most floors are wooden, so you can imaging the disturbance just one subwoofer would do, hence when I bought my new place I insisted that it must have concrete floors, I have not set up my 3 x 12" Klipsch subwoofers in my proposed 7 . 2.3 Klipsch Atmos set up, but your tip about asking the neighbours if they can hear is brilliant, that way I know what levels to set the volume for day and night time use. Thanks again.
Thanks for that special Klipsch Optimized Mode. That's good info to keep in mind for any receiver we might be looking at going forward. We've been looking at the $2000 Klipsch home theater package at amazon.
No problem at all, which Onkyo receiver does it include if you don’t mind me asking?
I thought about getting the klipsch speakers but I went with Polk audio and Sony av /4k 8k home theater system. But I’m use a klipsch subwoofer
Nice setup. Very similar to mine.
Much appreciated thanks again!
Nice setup!!! Done a similar updates like you did but with Sonos. But I did the crazy thing and got two subs with my neighbors hate.😂😂😂. Could only imagine how your step up would be with the two subs!!! 🔥
Thank much appreciated! Man I can’t wait to get my second sub as well. I’m sure I’ll be getting the same amount of hate 😂😂😂
Just a friendly check-in: After you run DIRAC make sure you balance your speaker levels with an SPL meter. I have the same receiver and the speaker levels always need to be reset after running the DIRAC calibration. Just another way to take your immersion to another level. Keep up the good work 🍺
Thanks for that advice I’ll look into it this week.
Next thing you might need is a separate 11-channel amplifier. Monoprice is probably your best option
I’m going with the newest OSD Nero HTA 5200
@@StevetheTechBro excellent choice!!!
great looking setup bro. im getting my own place soon and have limited space also so i wanna try to model it after your setup.
Much appreciated, I’m doing this to show people that you don’t need to be a millionaire to make your dream home theater. It’s about appreciation where your at, an as long as you like it that’s all that matters.
Perhaps it's just the recording, but it sounds like there is a bit reverberation/echo going on in your apartment with the hardwood floors and very few soft surfaces. Have you noticed it? I'm facing the same problem now in my apartment living room theater where it's all hardwood and alot of big windows, but I'm going to add a rug, curtains and 1 or 2 acoustic panels to help.
I have a huge area shag rug, I just brought mic so I can be mic’d up when I record next time. I’m pretty sure that’s what you hearing. And I too want to get acoustic panels as well, but that’s more of a investment I rather get when I get my home. I’ll probably be in this space maybe another year or so. Is the only reason I’m not making a big investment in room treatment just yet.
What scene did the DTS X clip come from I think I saw it but don’t remember what it is?
Honestly it’s just a clip from the actual DTS X app from the Xbox series X. I don’t believe it from an actual movie.
Cool setup.
The Sony's are still better than the Klipsch performance wise. .
Klipsch is visually appealing though.
Which Sonys speakers are you talking about the elite Sony speakers. Because if you’re talking about the SSCS3 tower speakers then you can’t be serious, but to each its own. I owned them for years yes their budget friendly and they sound good but their way to small compared to the bigger brands, they don’t set at ear level.
@@StevetheTechBrodon't be upset. There's no brand in home electronics bigger than Sony.
Pure perfection in this video
