That RP1600 is a behemoth! The subsonic world needs Subwoofers of the size of the Hubble telescope. Btw, Mellow and Sleazy are a DJ duo from Africa that produce tracks especially made for high quality Subwoofers. The impact, depth speed and precision of their bass lines is from another world. My Velodyne Digital Drive goes nuts even at moderate volume
I've had the RP-1200SW since Friday and have been playing with it. More powerful than the 2 subs it replaced (and bigger). I just finished watching Alien (Blu-Ray) and during the THX spiel at the end of the movie, I could literally feel air flowing through the slot at the bottom. I could also feel the low notes during the movie like never before - Das Boot was also totally phenomenal :). Love it so far! I may not need another one in my 13x16x8 bedroom/HT. It was on sale and the place I bought it from even gave me an extra discount. Did a You-Tube low frequency test and even at 5 Hz the woofer danced around. PS when I set it up with Audyssey (Denon) the volume ended up only on "3". I can't imagine what "11" would be like!
Nice experience! These klipsch subwoofers really were well built and provide a very good rich tight deep clean smooth and powerful bass! About the volume on receiver, what was level it ended?
Another great comparison keep it up! Trying to decide myself if I should do 2 of the 1400 or 2 of the 1600 in my 12’x20’x8 room. Think the 16” may be too much for the small space
Always enjoy watching your videos! Wanted to ask about mixing in different types of speakers. I have a klipsch center speaker and I’m looking to replace my old tower speakers. I’m thinking of getting c-Vega towers. Would this work or should my towers also be by klipsh. Is mixing in different brand speakers a bad idea or it doesn’t matter? What do you guys think? Thank you in advance.
Man, if it's possible, could you please make a comparison between RP-1200SW and RP-1400SW output? For example, at the same volume knob position, they would have similar output, despite the size difference and power amplifier
morne, can you do a video of having 3 subs or 5 subs?.. A number that is not 2 or 4. Does 3 subs make a difference ( 2 in the front and 1 in the back ) or should you just jump from 2 subs to 4 subs? Not many video on this. Cheers sir.
In my room I can go 1 Klipsch rp-1200sw Or 2 x klipsch 1000 Keep in mind my previous subs were svs sb-1000 pro, they weren't very good in my room. Or at a later date I could go 1 klipsch rp-1200sw and 1 klipsch 1000sw but I'm not sure you should mix them ? Any advice mate ( I don't want anymore svs tho, not a fan)
@@4k-edits_yt depending on where you are i hear great things about the Monolith but we dont get them and i have not tested them. I would say SVS reliability and quality is a no brainer.
Don't know what to choose RP 1600 or SVS pb 2000 pro. It's almost similar price in Europe. €1350 for SVS and €1400 for Klipcsh , it's on sale now. Your thoughts my man 💭🤔? Bedankt!
If you accept some suggestion, I have the RP-1400SW and it plays deep, even at low volumes. It also plays LOUD, when you request it. I did a lot of researches before get this model and I read on a forum that the "1600SW plays louder than 1400SW, below the 18 Hz range". And also, some people say that RP-1200SW gets over the PB-2000 Pro and RP-1400SW would be comparable with PB-3000. So, I would go for 1400 or 1600!
@@jlsnr You are quite right. I have 4xRP1400, and it plays really loud down to 18Hz. Below that, the 4 together make up for any diminished output comfortably. These subs are tight but can go wild if you turn the gains up.
@@wayneiceman Very good!! I just have one, I think it's a real monster, I can imagine what yours should do to your house structure 😂😂😂😂😂 If I'm not wrong, you've gained 9 dB, gathering the 4 ones playing? I'm thinking about adding a second one. Maybe I cannot add another 14" so soon (price que$tion), then I'm thinking about a RP-1200SW, that is not so different in size anb power. On my mind, it will not be so hard balance them
Get the bigger one. It's nice to have them match. Also, with Dirac live bass control, it's easier to eq them when they both play down to the same frequency.
Unless it's for a dorm room/apartment or some small space...I would not recommend a 10 inch sub for home theater...or even music...because not enough ooomph.....
Love your videos man. All the way from Swaziland 🇸🇿
Thank you💪

Try keep the fronts stage the same the rest is not to important. Just try stick the the same efficiency en ohm👌
Test your supwoofer with the movie the edge of Tomorrow bass
Sorry to bring it up once again but did you hear from your SpeakerCraft distributor on whether you can get a XTEQi-12 subwoofer in for review?
They have one in stock but i doubt they want to open it for a video, i did ask.

Im just waiting for a RP1400 to come in again and i will👌
I have a 1400sw and a pb2000 pro. The 1400sw is a more full sound yet very loud and detailed. I believe the 14 will sound better than the 12.
Great!
I can imagine that, I'm really curious to see how much, if it's yes!
I have waited this one to make my mind what to get. Next you can try does mixing diffrent size sub sound bad/weird?
I would stick to the same.
@@homecinemaking397 Thinking becouse if i buy 10 and later want bigger one does it go totally wrong like that.

Reason for this is to calibrate you want to try stick to even numbers. But technically 5 can work if its not directional.

4xRP1400 is still killer💪
Hi good day, If you had to choose between the rp1200 and svs pb2000pro
Go demo both. RP1200 has more output but the PB2000 has more control.
@homecinemaking397 in terms of Music because i listen to more low end songs
@@4k-edits_yt actually for music SB2000 but if you want to go ported the SVS ports can plug to give you a bit more tightness in the bass.
@homecinemaking397 One last question sir, For the Pb2000 price range is their any other sub that out performs it in output and low end ?
