I know I’m a little outdated on this video lol ! But it’s so helpful & I appreciate you answering our questions. So I have another, What if you use fabric conditioner instead of fabric softener, would it be the same ? Because I was thinking it wouldn’t make a difference but maybe so.

I don’t know what fabric conditioner is 🙈 and I have never tried. So I cannot advise on that

do you worry about conditioner being applied to the lace part of your wig, maybe making the knots slippery and having hair loss as a result? I would really love to know what you think or have experienced with your wigs and if you lose hair from the lace front after having applied conditioner to that area.........I have a lace front hand tied wig cap and this is what I'm told could be a problem...Thank you so much for your help!!
No I’ve never experienced that. I always make sure I rinse out the conditioner thoroughly

Question: can I use any fabric softener brand (eg. downy?) and what about the Aussie brand shampoo and conditioner? (I can also get the Tressame brand to be on the safer side)
Honestly you can use any brand. Even with shampoo and conditioners, I’ve never tried the Aussie brand but I use tresemme, L’Oréal olive or Pantene for my wigs

How long did you leave the conditioner and fabric softener in please? Like how many hours maximum?
I leave it overnight but 30 minutes should suffice

Yes you can.
With curls make sure they are hydrated and you keep them detangled.

You can install immediately. It’s just damp. The curls can airdry even when installed

Hi! How often do you use fabric softener on a wig? And can you tell me what kind of foaming mousse product was used at the end?
Only did it once. I use the afri true mousse. Alternatively you can try the ORS mousse I use that too

Mousse can be used on new wigs too. It’s helps mould and hold the curls. I use the ORS wrap foam mousse
Hey can i use a wide tooth comb during the wash instead of using the brush?
Sure
I will try it but I'm not sure if it will help my curly weave my friend borrow it and it come back with a lots of nots and they so hard i didn't know what to do and im so hurt

I have a new human curly Indian wig this first wig I had issues with frizzy and swell up doesn't keep the curls. I have wash ot condition and still a issue. Do a certain softener work? I ealso boil it and it came out nice after air dry but when I wear it it went back to frizzy dry curls after 2 days
It all depends on the hair quality honestly. And it sounds like you were sold bad hair.
What purpose the fabric softener has?
Helps to detangle and make the hair softer ☺️

Make sure to brush your curls only when wet. And detangle with a conditioner.
Lay them flat to dry. 😉
