Had the same issue on my '99 Dakota. My parking place is sloped towards the passenger side and rainwater entered through the rear slide window corner and since the hole on the track ,passenger side, was clogged, the water overflowed the track and collected under the carpet on the passenger side. Your video helped me find the cause,,, Thank you for posting!

Just wanted to thank you for your video. I recently found and weatherproofed my 2018 ram 1500. If ot wasnt for your video my slider would still be pouring water.

Just fixed on my 07 2500.
Small zip tie worked the best for clearing blockage

Maybe had a whole mix of problems, window, break light, and rear vents, but this right here solved 90% of the issue

thanks...my 04 is doing the same thing with the addition of getting the seatbelt retractor roll wet. I'll have to investigate and most likely employ your fix. Much appreciated.

I think whoever manufactured my 2003 dodge didn't install the drain hole properly. The one and only drain hole is there on the passenger side but it doesn't go all the way through. Looks like they nicked their drill bit too far back and drilled into some rubber. I think I need to make my own drain holes. But not sure if I should drill straight down or at a slight angle towards the bed of the truck

I have an 03' and noticed the same thing. When I drilled the hole, it seems to just dump the water back into the body of the truck anyway. Did you ever get a fix for this?
