  • Que hace la diferencia entre un jugador "normal" y uno excepcional? La diferencia recae en trabajar más que tus compañeros, en esforzarte más para no ser un jugador del montón.

It's so cool that the best football player in history is a black man not known primarily for his "talent" or his freakish "athleticism" or how "natural" he was but instead how he kicked everyone else's ass in preparation, work, time, effort and fitness. He got more out of his talent than any other player in NFL history and he was pretty talented to start with. However, he lapped players who were bigger, stronger, faster, etc. Great lesson and example for young athletes and society in general.

Saw where you and Deon Sanders had a difference of opinion in the mindset of approaching the game; you more quietly dedicated to the trade, and Deon more flamboyant tallent confident. He's a coach now and I've seen several clips of him telling the players to essentially be dedicated to the trade, and that he didn't care about how much each man was impressed with himself, but that he had an obligation to put a winning (team) on the field. The very things you held as important. Thanks for showing us (for years) how it's done.

Walter Payton could run, catch, throw, block, and even kick at an NFL level no other football player could dare to claim that. Well people would probably claim Brady can because they love to tongue his ass and give a reach around.

this is why "combine performances" are a joke. you can't judge a player running on a soft track in an airconditioned building not even in a game on how is going to do in the NFL. Where it counts is when your tired in the 4th quarter and everyone else is tired and the game depends on you. This is why Jerry was the best and always will be. He wasn't the fastest in the 40, he wasn't the strongest on the bench.. but he was the hardest worker out there and nobody can say different and that's why he is the best. period.

WR’s dont train like JR did anymore. They train for speed. If they started to train for stamina, flexibility, & injury prevention they could play for 20+ years like he did. But WR’s put too much emphasis on 40’s & combine drills nowadays.
