This was a great video, learned a lot, thought I did decent prepping but I realize I need to add a few things…but most of all, it makes me like the hobby even more than I already like it. Morgan makes a good distributor. I agree, I also make certain all the smallest pieces spend time on the floor. It helps them to fit better... yeah.

Great tips! I was hoping you would have covered removing the ejector pin marks in the headliner. I hate those and sometimes my repair on them don't look much better. Thanks for sharing.
They were….somewhat… successful. I glooped Tamiya white putty into them, waited two days for it to solidify, and went through 180 grit, 240 grit, 400 and 600 grit sanding sticks. While no longer the CRATERS they originally were, there still some “witness” of them that only I can probably see, but my eyes will be drawn to until about a year after this is finished and I forget they’re there.

With all the small parts layed out like that....reminds me of make sure you have a good screen in your drain of your sink just in case you drop something 😅... Pretty cool methods so far.
It has happened, and thankfully the strainer has caught it. Then I learned to make sure the strainer wasn’t mucked up with the remainders of cleaning out a dish of baked ziti…
That’s why I usually wash my parts first or use wash them in a plastic tub and strain them into a colander. 👍

Great tips Frank. I probably won't use them😂. Seriously I've been tempted to try taking all the parts off the sprue and doing the prep and paint. Now that I'm airbrushing I should at least try one. BTW no wide body kit? Lol
I have a widebody kit for it…maybe one day…
My Spidey Sense tells me you’ll probably experience a phenomenon after airbrushing more: you will get annoyed at seeing mold lines and touch ups on an otherwise nicely painted part (because that’s what happened to me).

Ejector pin marks on the underside of the roof “I’ll show you how I fill these in later” then manages to skip it 🤦♂️
Yup…mistakenly edited that part out. The tools video and this video were supposed to be one video, and I shot the entire cleanup of the body, and watched the footage, but didn’t transfer it to my computer, and formatted the memory card before I realized what I did. I was more pissed because the footage was actually funny.
I found more ejector pin marks inside the body and address them in the next video. That will be out hopefully before this weekend.
