    Monotheism, belief in one God, is the most important and foundational concept in Islam. Muslims believe in one God who created the universe and has power over everything within it. He is unique and exalted above everything He creates, and His greatness cannot be compared to His creation. Furthermore, He is the only one deserving of any worship and the ultimate purpose of all creation is to submit to Him. The Islamic understanding of God is distinct from all other religions and beliefs in various respects since it is based on a pure and clear understanding of monotheism. This essentially captures the concept of God in Islam, which will be further elaborated in this pamphlet.
    Muslims often refer to God as Allah. This is a universal name for God and does not refer to an exclusively ‘Islamic’ God. Interestingly, this name is related to the Aramaic and Hebrew names for God, Allaha and Elohim. Therefore, Allah is simply the Arabic name for God which affirms that He is One singular God with no partners or equals. The name Allah cannot be pluralized or limited to a specific gender, which establishes that God is One and that He is unique from everything He creates. Muslims continue to use this original Arabic name for God (Allah) since it perfectly expresses His unique qualities.
    God is the Creator and the Sustainer of the universe who created everything for a reason. Muslims believe that He created humankind with a simple purpose - to worship Him. He sent messengers to guide people in fulfilling this purpose. Some of these messengers include Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, peace be upon all of them. They all taught a consistent message about God by affirming His greatness as the Creator and guiding people to worship Him alone. This basic concept has always resonated with people’s natural understanding of God. (Click here to learn more about prophets in Islam.)
    When the final prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him (pbuh), was asked about God, the answer came directly from God in the holy book of Muslims, the Quran (also spelled ‘Koran’): “Say, ‘He is God the One, God the eternal. He begot no one nor was He begotten. No one is comparable to Him.’” [112:1-4] This is a clear statement by God describing Himself to humanity without any room for confusion. God is One and is exalted above everything He creates and He is capable over all things.
    Fully accepting the oneness of God is to accept that He is distinct from everything else. It would not suit God’s majesty and glory to associate the limited attributes of His creation to Him because He is not restricted in any way, while His creation is. He is the First with no beginning and the Last with no end. Everything in the universe was created by His will. He is not confined by space or time and He is the only One who is in control and provides for His creation.
    “He is God: there is no god other than Him. It is He who knows what is hidden as well as what is in the open, He is the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy. He is God: there is no god other than Him, the Controller, the Holy One, Source of Peace, Granter of Security, Guardian over all, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Truly Great; God is far above anything they consider to be His partner. He is God: the Creator, the Originator, the Shaper. The best names belong to Him. Everything in the heavens and earth glorifies Him: He is the Almighty, the Wise.” [Quran, 59:22-24]
    Why did God create people whom He already knew would reject Him and go to hell? Shouldn’t God who is All Loving instead not create them so that they won’t go through punishment? These are some common questions connected to this topic. Answered by Nouman Ali Khan
    Pure Monotheism
    “God: there is no god but Him, the Ever Living, the Ever Watchful. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. All that is in the heavens and in the earth belongs to Him. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His leave? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, but they do not comprehend any of His knowledge except what He wills. His throne extends over the heavens and the earth; it does not weary Him to preserve them both. He is the Most High, the Tremendous.” [Quran, 2:255]
    The primary pillar of Islamic belief clearly states that there is nothing worthy of worship except God. Associating partners with God or attributing qualities of lesser beings to Him is considered to be the greatest sin in Islam.
    In the past, this often took the form of idol worship or praying to multiple lesser gods. Although this is less common now, the current era has replaced many of the physical ‘idols’ of the past with other contemporary ‘gods.’ Many people today allow passions like entertainment, drugs, relationships or material objects to become the center of their lives. They become so consumed with these things that they submit to whatever will allow them to fulfill their desires. For example, if a drug addict allows their addiction to control their actions, beliefs, feelings, and behaviors, causing them to risk their personal safety and the safety of others, that drug has essentially become their god. Likewise, if another person puts a loved one before God by obeying that person even if that causes them to transgress against God’s commands, their loved one has taken precedence over God.
    Islam teaches that people should completely submit only to God as He is the only One worthy of their worship. He is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and everything in it belongs to Him. The Quran points out the faulty thinking of those who worship other than God:
    “‘How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?’” [37:95-96]

Love has nothing to do with what God is able to do which is beyond our imagination. You can’t relate the two things and conclude from that. The logos the word Jesus was created by the verbal command of God. Literally created by a word from God. Even according to your own understanding Jesus is dependent on the father. You would agree the father is not dependent on anyone. God is independent and perfect in his independence. God is not dependent on anyone or anything at anytime God is not limited to time. Jesus came into existence at a point in time. And is 100% dependent on the father for his existence. Therefore Jesus cannot be God.

Human beings are dependent needy and weak human beings are mortal and are subject to a bodily death. You can never logically rationally believe that God was ever a human being. The signs that prove the prophecy of Muhammad are numerous. Many books have been written to enumerate them and thoroughly discuss them. We would like to mention some of these signs as reported by Muslim scholars and which prove that Muhammad was a real Prophet including:
    - First, his good biography and high morals as well as the noble qualities that distinguished him. He was known before becoming a Prophet as a truthful and honest person, although the community where he lived was a society of ignorance. This was, perhaps, the most important sign of his prophecy. He was not known to have ever lied on people. So, why should he lie on be half of the Lord by claiming that he was a Prophet, if he was not a real Prophet?
    - Second, the powers and triumphs Allah gave him and the spread of the religion he preached, as well as the triumph of this religion over all existing religions in a short period of time. Had he been a liar, Allah would have humiliated and destroyed him as He did with those before him who falsely claimed Prophethood.
    - Third, the miracles Allah gave him as supporting evidence were beyond the ability of human beings and were beyond range of natural phenomena. The moon split for him, water gushed from his fingers, food became more abundant in his hands, and similar phenomena were authentically reported and happened in a way that could not be denied.
    - Fourth, the Prophet was backed by the greatest miracle which is the Quran. In fact, Quran was a challenge and remains a challenge for Arabs who were known to be good poets and eloquent speakers. Allah challenged them to write a single Surah (chapter) that would be similar to that of Quran, but the Arabs were unable to do so. Indeed, the challenge still endures, none of the Arabs throughout history - since the revelation of the Quran - was able to make anything that was even similar to it. No doubt that the Quran has been preserved intact until it came to us. Groups of people memorized it including children, adults, males and females. So generations brought the Quran to generations until it reached us as it was revealed 14 centuries ago. Hence, the Quran remains intact protected from distortion or alteration. Nothing has been added to it, nor taken from it. Quran is full of scientific facts that were verified only in these times of scientific investigation. No doubt that Muhammad who was illiterate would not have possessed this knowledge 14 centuries ago. Doesn't this prove the authenticity of the Quran and that it is the Word of the Creator of the Universe who knows all its secrets?
    - Fifth, the things from the unseen that he (the Prophet ) informed us about. Some of them occurred during his life time. Others happened later. Some of these things happened to the Prophets, may Allah exalt their mention, who preceded him and some are still to occur. He also informed about the signs of The Day of Judgment, some of which had already been seen such as widespread killings and genocide, adultery and fornication and the consumption of the alcohol, outnumbering of males by females and the increased number of earthquakes, and afflictions,… etc.
    - Sixth, the testimony of some of the people of the Book that he was a true Prophet. Some of them believed in him like 'Abdullah Ibn Salam who was a Jew as well as Negus (king of Abyssinia) who was a Christian. Some of the people of the Book certified that he was a Prophet from Allah but refused to follow him like Huyayy Ibn Akhtab.
    The above are some of the signs that prove his Prophethood and the authenticity of his revelations. We would like the questioner to visit some of the Islamic centers in her area, and hopefully, they will guide her to some useful references in the matter.

      I've asked a senior about this hadith, so if you really want to know more, you can ask an actual scholar, not some rando on a CZcams comment.
      A couple of things;
      1. The hadith is referring to circumstances when the LEGALITY of marriages (already married or lawful to be married) in circumstances where relation ickiness might apply (Can this man still be LEGALLY married to his wife even though he had ILLEGAL SEX with his wife's sister?, you know, like some soap operas).
      2. In situations where a crime has been committed (homosexuality, in this context), but there are insufficient evidence to apply the HADD punishment, the court may decide to apply LESSER punishment (eg. Tazeer).
      - a) Tazeer punishments are subject to the discretion of the court, traditionally caning, but the court can decide other suitable punishments. Which means;
      - b) Said person will be ALIVE afterwards. Which means;
      - c) IF said person wanted to marry the mother of the boy he had relations with (for whatever reason), it is ILLEGAL for him to do so.
      Now that I have answered your question, can you please engage with my previous comments without diverting to another topic?

      @Jason Loves Jesus here is what your 3 bibles talk about homosexuality, it states that your 3 gods accept them.
      All things considered, it is important to remember that throughout church history, new information about people and the world have frequently led Christians to reconsider their beliefs.This need not be a reason to distrust Scripture, but rather should serve as an invitation to wrestle with the contexts of the biblical writers and our own lived experiences. As it stands today, there are millions of faithful Christians around the world who have come to recognize the work of God in and through the relationships of LGBTQ people (click here to see a list of denominational positions on LGBTQ people within Christianity). As New Testament Scholar Daniel Kirk has pointed out, Christians today would do well by the tradition of the apostles and our current witness in the world to recognize that theological abstractions aside, God has already clearly embraced LGBTQ people into full communion, and it is now the church’s responsibility to simply honor that reality and rejoice (Luke 15).

      @Jason Loves Jesus The Hadith is not presenting it as an option that is 'Halal'. It's not even an option. It's a case. It's saying 'in a case where abc takes place, xyz is the consequence.' The Hadith also mentions adultery with someone like the wife's sister. It doesn't mean it is allowed or that in your marriage with your wife, you have the option to have intercourse with your wife or her sister. Furthermore, I am not saying the Hadith is saying homosexuality is Haram. It doesn't need to. (Also don't get me wrong I am not saying the Hadith denies the act of homosexuality being Haram.) The ruling of it being wrong comes from other Quranic verses and Hadith. Why haven't you quoted the many other verses/hadith that say homosexuality is Haram instead of using this one which doesn't mention whether it is Halal or haram.

    • @mangekyoumusa

It's saying 'when someone has sex with a boy, that person can not marry his mother'. That is not the same thing or doesn't imply there is an option. The Hadith is about when a marriage is not allowed and this is just a case where it doesn't allow for a marriage to happen.
      I wasn't even changing the subject, I was just addressing your points. I pointed towards other verses because they actually state whether homosexuality is Halal or not.

    • @mangekyoumusa
      @mangekyoumusa Před 3 lety +1

      @Jason Loves Jesus 'If it's not allowed it would say so'. Not necessarily. If the Hadith is talking about lawful marriages it doesn't need to say that every act that leads up to an unlawful marriage is haram. For example, the Hadith also mentions adultery with the wife's sister but it doesn't explicity state that that(adultery) act is haram. You are changing the subject of the Hadith. You imposed a condition for no reason. The Hadith is focusing on one thing whereas you are focusing on something else. This hadith is not about homosexuality.

Then you want to make the claim that Jesus died for your sins no no he didn't. And God did not come in human form I e Jesus. Like the Bible says God is not a man. No one present at that "discussion" is a denier of Christ. It's a known fact that Islam requires it's adherents to believe in Jesus Christ, The Messiah, son of Mary. They even believe that Jesus will return in the time of the antichrist to kill him and bring peace and justice to the earth. The Muslims deny his divinity, and for very simple reasons. I've always loved Jesus my entire life, but I don't think he's God or part God in any way shape etc. How is it that this ultra loving version of Christ as God Almighty hasn't entered my heart but seems to be very selective and enters others so that they have the chance of salvation, but not me, simply because my heart, mind and spirit won't let me accept that God has somehow become 3 and the understanding of God as 1 and Him being THE ONLY SAVIOUR that Abraham, Moses, Noah, Adam, etc. all died believing and taught their descendants to believe and to die believing in, has undergone a unfathomable change from The Incorruptible image of God, into the image of corruptible man. ROMANS 1. I believe in God and I believe that He sent Jesus to the Children of Israel and them alone. If your concept of God is correct and mine wrong, than "God" died for no reason if I'm still going to hell for not believing in an illogical story. I'm supposed to abandon the logic and reason of the concept of God in the Old Testament, for a concept even harder to believe in, and that's the new deal God came up with.in order to forgive me for my transgressions? I believe He can just forgive me if I ask sincerely, just as any human can do, and we humans can not be more magnanimous and merciful than God. So who are you "people?"

      @@johngerald182 My faith is in God Almighty and none other. There is no room for error in such a belief. How could God be displeased with that? It's exactly what Job did, and Jonah did, and Elijah, and Isaac and Ishmael and Joseph and all of the true believers including Jesus and Muhammad peace upon all of them. This is the true way to salvation as described all throughout the Old Testament, in which God Almighty says that He doesn't change how He deals with mankind. The covenant with Abraham was an "everlasting covenant' and nowhere in it stipulates that when God suddenly turns into a trinity sometime in the future, that we were to accept and believe in Him as such. You didn't read what I said carefully. God Almighty is the only saviour of mankind. Now I dare you to look above your head right now as you read, and tell God that you don't believe that He is free of need from Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and everything else in creation. That He is dependent upon Jesus and the Holy Ghost to be complete as God, and without them you will not accept Him as God.

    1:46 "I don't care what the Bible says". The lady is right. Something happened around the 1970's or 80's when something changed in Islam. Here is the official Salafi position from the *LARGEST ISLAM WEBSITE IN THE WORLD:*
    -"the Torah and GOSPEL are *WORDS AND COMMANDS* of *ALLAH"* -islamQA
    -"the Torah and GOSPEL that has not been distorted is still to be *VENERATED* and *APPRECIATED,* on the grounds that it is *THE WORD OF ALLAH"* -islamQA
    -Surat 5:46-48 *WE GAVE..the Gospel,* in it is *GUIDANCE* and *LIGHT* -(not a hoax, scam or a forgery)
    -Surat 5:47 And let the **People of the Gospel** judge by what Allah has revealed therein. -( *HOW* can Injeel be fake/hoax/lost if Allah is telling Christians to JUDGE WHAT IS REVEALED IN THE GOSPEL? in the 7TH CENTURY AD??)
    -NAME “INJEEL” - "It is *DERIVED FROM THE GREEK* term evangelion which means gospel, good news” Muhammad in world scriptures, Abdul Haque Vidyarthi
    “The Arabic word *Injil (injeel)* (إنجيل) as found in Islamic texts..derives *FROM THE GREEK* ..language *NEW TESTAMENT* -Wikipedia, ‘Gospel in Islam’

      According to the Quran that is wrong. God said in the Quran that if He had wanted a son He would have chosen one from among the creation (in other words not a "begotten" son or a "divine being" who never existed) Muslims have opposite ideas of Jesus to Christians.
