- Ghanaian entrepreneur uses interlocking stabilised soil bricks to build affordable homes in Ghana. In this video, we talk with the remarkable Eno Anobea Freeman about building with interlocking bricks, her experience, processes, challenges and so many things in between. Eno has been building with these bricks since 2018.
We learn how we can use ISSBs as an alternative construction material for our homes.
We also tour a unit that offers various construction options, a studio, two types of 1 bedroom units and a 2 bedroom unit under construction.
It was a really fun experience meeting her and walking through her projects.

Thank you Maame for having me on your channel and thank you everyonefor your comments. I had a great time.
We look forward to sharing more projects with you in future.
Are the houses only for sale or rent as well.
Thank you Eno, for your time. Really beautiful work! We are waiting for everything you have coming up 😊
I'm interested to know if you sell units or does someone have to hire you for a build?
@@sedemejersonvlogs hi, these houses are build on request based on either our own design (in the video) or the customer’s specifications.
Thanks
With all the amazing parts of this video, my heart melts every time she mentions her price in Ghana cedis! Finally someone with a mindset towards the ordinary Ghanaian! And she’s so well spoken, definitely knows what she’s about. Such a unique perspective. Great video
Yea
Why would she not be well spoken?
So true sis❤
Give thanks! That is perfect. I know a lot of presenters are marketing to outside of Ghana. It made my heart sad. That can only stir hostility because they see “new people”, even those fleeing persecution the descendants of stolen AFRIKANS as outsiders and would be upset and could soon stir unrest. This is a trick being played against the unifying force of the diaspora.
But it leaves behind the struggles of continental AFRIKANS. I just hope that we are smarter than that o lean into one another there are riches and a wealth of knowledge to exchange! 🫶🏾🫶🏾💞Ase
This woman deserves a medal. Environmetally friendly. I would definitely buy a home like this.
It takes the brilliance of a beautiful woman to stay earth-centered and sustainable! May her business flourish forever!!!
We are the earth keepers, life givers and care takers of all. Women held a great place in society and she is roaring back. I am part Indigenous Lakota/Eastern Cherokee and we revere our women.
Amen
That’s my aunt guys!! I’m so proud of you aunty Anobea❤️
I absolutely love this house. If Eno did the interior design she is a great interior designer. Finally a home that alot of people can afford. Love 💘 to see a female running her own company. Eno has a great personality. Much success to her.
I will definitely be contacting the company for my build when I come to Ghana in January. Excellent video!
Really enjoyed this. I will love to use her services in future. Thanks for sharing ❤️
I absolutely loved this project! I am not just saying because this was the second video we filmed that day but I saw the building and all my tiredness vanished. The product woke me up. Anobea is such a brilliant and wonderful person as well! Her contact information is available in the description box!
She really is! Thanks Amoaa.
I really love your channel Learning so much from you.
Please where are these houses located? Thank you
And you are a beautiful host as well Queen
THANKS SO VERY MUCH
I like how the kitchen has been separated to be at the back to cook our strong scented meals 🙌🏾 Great pricing too
Very intelligent woman. We need more women like that in the Caribbean. I plan to visit Ghana sometime next year. I will appreciate it a lot if she can send me her contact number.
I love this concept. I will definitely be patronizing it. I like the fact that she quotes her pricing in the local currency. Such an intelligent woman. I'm proud of her.
I’ve been interested in this kind of building for a while. This is how our ancestors built houses and stood for centuries. By the way my grandmother is called Eno and so is my mother in law.
Eno is another word for Maame, but especially used when calling your mother. That's why when a man names his daughter after his mother he prefers calling her (his daughter) Eno instead of Maame.
Very elegant styling. Very affordable and practical living spaces. Africans building for Africans, A win win all the way! I love it!
You go girl! Now this is the real definition of a girl boss!! Pretty, smart and innovative.
Brilliant! Makes me so proud to be an African woman
This is probably the most affordable property development in west Africa I have ever seen, as an East African we love brick work 👌🏾 Love it 💕
This is an amazing idea. Can't wait to use her services to build my house.
Very smart lady the one who is able to backup a man in life respect
Omg, I just chanced on this channel and my only regret is that I didn't find it earlier.
Great content Amoaa.
Eno is incredibly amazing.
After watching about 3 of your uploads I can say this is my favorite channel✌️

Maame is such a breath of fresh air. Eno is doing a great job. Will definitely consider building with bricks in the future.
Eno you are doing a great work may your business flourish through all Africa, it's adorable.
I love this earth-material home. I am from the northern part of Ghana and these houses are best.
I'm very pleased to hear that sustainable homes are also available in Ghana.
The house 🏘️ is definitely affordable.. very beautiful design too . Am very proud of Eno. I might cop one of those house.
In Brooklyn NY in the USA people pay more for a rental apartment that has a wall with exposed brick just to have the aesthetics.
Right. It cost an arm and leg for exposed brick walls here. Imma get me one of these homes. Thank GOD it’s truly affordable. I’m tired of living in NY.
@@zeeqq105 I'm tired as well
@@Uncle-Basil Where you headed?
@@zeeqq105 Ghana...I will be there next month...to get land, etc.
How do u go about getting land ?
Beautiful people and designs. Thank you! I grabbed a few of your great ideas. I may never be able to build my home but I have the ideas. I wish you much success…..from America!

The video is great and like the way she is thinking about the The less fortunate of the country which is great
A beautiful smart Black woman that takes care of herself and she has NO weave finally 💯👊🏽❤️
Details on doors, backsplash and ceiling screams luxury living. Beautiful!
She looks amazing in her dress, real royal, feminine, according to my husband, how one expects wife material to look, modest.
Shalawam family! Yall heading over there too?
This is so inspirational! The natural building materials are so stunning and cost effective. Maame’s interview was great and we learned so much ✨😎🇬🇭
