I bet this couple has had to adapt to furniture and houses their whole lives, so itâs great that they have a home that is designed with their needs in mind. This is my favorite of all of the ones I have seen so far.

I love watching home makeovers, but the way that Jeremiah got really emotional here just goes to show how much heart they put into changing these familiesâ lives. They had to live in a world where nothing is at their height even in their own home and now they get one that's beautiful and totally accessible. When she said how did you not make this look like a hospital I realized how their world must have either been out of reach or looked like a hospital until now.

Me too, especially since he gave up his room. I mean yes, itâs his parentsâ house, but still-it sounds like he might be on the spectrum if he âdoesnât like change,â and Iâm sure the guys gave him an amazing bedroom.

This is the reason why I first went into interior design, to design a beautiful space for people with special needs. Like she said "Wow, this bathroom doesn't look like a hospital." That's the way things were being designed 30 years ago and I knew they deserved better. Bravo Nate and Jeremiah.
I love Mark and Heather. They are such a lovely couple. Nate and Jeremiah are AWESOME, as usual. I watch this episode often, wish we could have move contact with the Mark and Heather, prayers for her healing.

First thing when they went to their house one shook hands and walked on by and the other shook hands and just leaned down for a proper man hug. I loved that, that means so much when a person goes to your height to greet you. Thank you SO MUCH for that.

I literaly was wheeping from moment they've opened the door, Jer had also tears in his eyes..I love them both and what they are doing, but seeing people how big impact work of Jer & Nate have on them is just incredible. How appreciated was everything of their work.. and on the other hand, Mark & Heather got really funcional and beautiful home, they can enjoy. Well done. When I am sad.. I just watch videos like this and I am back on track because of wonderful good vibes from it .. it's poor joy.

i hope you guys can do it over here in the Philippines so I can start saving money for renovation.
Very nice accommodation to the people living there, and the bedroom and bath were pretty nice. But, like most US designers, Nate has a fear of color, which makes a home so much more vibrant and happy if used correctly. Maybe this is older, as it seems things are starting to change and some color is becoming more acceptable.

I love the focus on usability and function of the space. So many of these shows focus only on what's pretty on camera, but in reality it wouldn't hold up. Only criticism... Some of the budget decisions were crap. A $1,000 marble slab on the wall for decoration? Please. Nice couple though, and I never actually considered until now how many parts of the home are designed with an assumed level of ability, and assumed height.
