My favorite part has to be the ship, command rooms, such as simple necessity made so much better by the aesthetic.
This is the craziest base I have ever seen. Inspiration everywhere. Well done, absolutely fantastic work.

That central atrium room is spectacular & beautiful! I love all the plants & arches. I also love how happy & enthusiastic you sound. It's fun when inspiration strikes & hours melt away. Well done on all the rooms & corridors. I look forward to seeing the rest.

Your base is absolutely impressive, very creative and inspired me on a few things, as i'm about to start building my first freighter base and I want it to look nice and be functional , like, having all of the main stuff like frigate control rooms, portal etc close to the entrance.
A truly impressive build, I'd probably spend all my time on the freighter and never get anything done 😂
Two things I've noticed, the value of your freighter rises alongside the size of your base, secondly, your base doesn't transfer to any new freighter you might purchase (found this out the hard way)
I believe they transfer now
You have to leave an item in your old freighter. Then, it would give you the option to switch bases

This Freighter base is amazing, to be honest mine is trash.
But yours I could imagine living there. It makes me feel like I am in there,this video does.i don't know if this fits in to the comment quidelines but hopefully it does, since this is just an amazing video, and you deserve way more attention because of it.

I was already impressed with the opening rooms and how you really nailed the fantasy of a space ship. I saw hints of the atrium/quad area thru the windows and when I finally saw the big hub room I was absolutely floored. I didn't know you could do so much with this game. Great job dude!

The first entry way corridors are just habitation rooms from the plant rooms

The suckiest thing about freighter bases is that it’s soooooooo difficult to find Salvaged Frigate Modules. It takes FOREVER to unlock rooms. 😢😢😢😢
How do you make those big stellar hologram things?
Amazing build!!!! 👌🏻 how do you get the fleet command units without having to have them in the little rooms??? Same with the storage rooms?? I have to have a long corridor with the small storage rooms lined up.
Use the expansion rooms in the same set as the part your using :)

im having some issues with some of my lights not being powered in the freighter did you have this issue and if so how did you fix it.
Question: if you destroy your freighter base to restart the build over at the console, do all the materials used get sent to inventory, lost or sent to the base reclamation unit you can drop down? I wanna build my base on freighter over but worried about loosing stuff. Thx
I believe that you get half of your resources back from your base reclamation unit, this was years ago tho so it may have changed by now

@BoidGaming oh wow. Incredible build. Now that you play on pc are you going to try any mods? I played for years on xbox and recently got a pc. mods have changed my life! Lol I play with about 30 of them.
What are those structures at 5:11? I've seen others use them like this too and its such a cool ass design.
The big blue things? Holographic chart projectors i think you buy them at the anomaly:)

Thats just an old legacy part, you can only get them if you had them prior to the update that introduced new freighter parts :)
For anyone still wondering how they can do this without the legacy room, you can simply add a tech expansion and then close it in with a bulkhead door and an interior wall.
