Fastest 80 minutes ever. I could listen to larry talk all day. He has such orginal and interesting takes on everything. He says things we never think of and when he says it its like, how did we not think of that. Its amazing how his brain operates

He’s so right, too. If they do a movie I’ve never seen, I won’t listen to the episode until I’ve seen it, and I can’t be the only one.
Also, wild to know Larry David listens to The Rewatchables. Like, you’re telling me he hears the Wayne Jenkins bit every week too?
Seriously I never understood that and I’m curious to what movies from the 40s/50s Larry wanted to do. Bill always wants to just do mid cable dad movies. We want old classic films too, there’s so many classics they haven’t done.

Alan Partridge has been a consistent comedic character with proper output since 94.. not consistent seasons like Curb , but the character and his point of view has had enough material to make him probably the longest unbroken comedic character in history.

Curb’s probably the GOAT comedy series. Best seasons to me are maybe 6 and 7, especially 7 (and I didn’t even like Seinfeld).

@@user-ib2kt4oo7i Season 3 is definitely one of the best.. especially with episodes like Krazee-Eyez Killa or The Grand Opening! Still, overall I believe that no season is messing with season 7. And again, I didn’t even like Seinfeld or found it that funny (the show and the man). The Table Read is probably the GOAT Curb episode, if I had to pick one…
One of my favorite O&A episodes was recorded while Larry David was shooting the classic episode where Bill Buckner caught the baby. Bob Kelly was an extra in that episode of Curb and he was calling in from the set while Patrice O'neal and Anthony Cumia were destroying Joe Derosa for defending his EVO phone. Honestly that episode is one of the funniest 3 hours of radio of all time to me.

@@nix3001 DeRosa was always great on O&A. All the episodes he did with Patrice O'neal were classic. His podcast he used to do with Bill Burr in 2007 and 2008 was also hilarious.
I love that bill is the biggest podcast in his lane but continues to upload 360p videos and 2007 jpegs in 2024

Me and my old man watched "Seinfeld Chronicles" that summer that the 4 episodes aired. And then like a year and a half later there's Seinfeld and we were both dumbfounded. We watched that religiously even when it was getting terrible ratings early on.

I've always said the same thing about kickers. It's so illogical. Kickoffs? THROW it down the field. Hell, if you insist, keep field goals, but put up some giant rings and make your QB throw it in. Nobody likes kickers. All they do is ruin things.

55:05 - The fact that Keith Hernandez is still not in the Hall of Fame for allegedly doing coke back in the eighties, is reason enough to scrap the whole thing. Not to mention banning Pete Rose from baseball for life and disqualifying him permanently from the Hall of Fame for betting on baseball, when gambling has completely taken over sports, wreaks of hypocrisy and double standards. Major League Baseball seriously needs to exonerate, apologize to, and immediately induct Keith Hernandez and Pete Rose into the Hall of Fame or else the Hall of Fame should not exist, and neither should Major League Baseball.

LD is so spot on about the FG. Its pretty much an free play. How about the qb kicks it with the ball in play.
american football came from rugby football, where kicking is a big part of the game and affects it in different ways. American football is a great invention basically they but in the line of scrimmage, the snap, and throwing forward, but yeah, the FG has got to go it just doesn't work, but they should think of something else.....come on amercians! put your heads together!

Agree with LD, fgs are useless and devalue the physicality of the 99% of an NFL game. I also say get rid of PKs in soccer until like the 3rd OT. Its 90% chance and again is an insult to the skill that the majority of the game exhibits. Give each side 5 corners that have a high skill level to get in and also a high showmanship quotient.
