The other part of the majority is out here DEMANDING through what seems like almost gritted teeth seething that he is by far the biggest of all time. Though one of these people I understand their point, and will concede to it, too, I agree with your assessment in the video on it. And it is abundantly clear how recency bias is the dominant factor in their insistence that he's such a horrifically massive bust. Hell, all draft history its blatantly clear how domineering recency bias is in the juries' opinion of "biggest bust of all time". Before Anthony, it was Greg Oden. Then Darko. Before that you had a load more, with the most dominant one to me being Sam Bowie. The most stand out one to me, even if not a top 10, was Shawn Bradley. And most of them are of course, Centers, which is hilariously ironic, given today's game all but murdering the traditional big man. As soon as the next guy comes in, gets drafted high, especially with that top 3 pick, they immediately become "the biggest bust of all time" to the court of public opinion. I mean, Darko literally only recently managed to finally escape the constant "biggest bust of all time" narrative being thrown in his face. And another two "biggest bust of all time" guys I just thought of - Adam Morrison and Kwame Brown! Literally each and every single one was the "biggest bust of all time" until the next one came along. I think that itself is more than enough to sink the public opinion's ship into the ocean.
Before Bennett came, Kwame Brown and Olowokandi were considered the biggest bust. They played in the NBA for 12 and 8 seasons respectively. They're NBA calibre players. Anthony Bennett is not good enough to play in the NBA.

Y enjoyed your video but i cannot agree with your arguement. I really think Len, Noel, Oladipo, Potter and even Macklemore would have had better careers if they walked into the same Cavs situation that Bennett did. Dude is a bust.
Well Bennett is still a bust but if you compare him to some second picks then you can make some comparisons because number 2 picks don’t have a good track records
Honestly they way you turned "expectations were low for him from the get go despite being a number 1 pick" into a 20 minute video, that's actually entertaining at that, is truly impressive.
This is so true. When you take context into consideration, Darko Milicic at #2 is a much bigger bust considering who was taken right after him (Melo, Bosh, Wade) but this would be unfair to Darko since he was drafted into a situation where anyone else would've suffered the same fate. Coach Larry Brown had a championship contender and there was no way he would've wasted it developing a rookie. The biggest bust would have to be Sam Bowie. He already had an injury riddled college career yet the Blazers still picked him ahead of Michael Jordan, even though everyone knew Jordan was the best player in the draft. The Rockets going with Olajuwon at #1 was understandable given the premium attached to centers at the time, but Bowie at #2 was absolutely dumb. I don't care about how the fit MJ would have with Drexler would have been, you either make it work or trade one of them. Whatever you get back would've been better than Bowie.

LaRue Martin was the biggest bust before Bennett came into the scene.
Swing and a miss buddy
Jaylen Brown your next video JimmerRange 😅😂😅😂😅😂😅
Giannis went 15. He was 4 inches shorter. No chance cavs take him at 1. No one would have
Are you related to Mr Bennett? 😂
Anthony Bennett isn't a bust. His trade along with Wiggins got the Cavs a ring.
This video is extremely well done 👏
Jordan's first title was in 1991.
It’s about time we start calling Bennett the worst draft pick in NBA history. Kwame Brown is no longer the worst draft pick ever
By the logic of your past bust videos, this defense needs to be thrown out.
More Teams water Down the League Bill Russell and Sam Jones were Super Stars. Sam Jones gave Jerry West the Business in Game 7 of the Finals. In his final game
He’s a bust because he had a worse work ethic then darko miličic. He gave/gives up when he isn’t the best player
Jordan won his first title in 91 not 92
I get what you’re saying & yes, he didn’t have any expectations & wasn’t even suppose to be a 1st pick which the Cavs set him up for failure, but he’s still a bust at the end of the day. He had no business even playing in the NBA because he was really that bad of a player
Jordan actually won his first ring in 91 not 92
Yes he is a bust. In 2013, there were good players. One of them a HOF, Giannis Antetokoumpo.
That draft class was trash what you talking about
0:49 💀💀💀
Jordan won his first title in 1991 not 1992
Wish the cavs didn't waste this pick 😂
Y enjoyed your video but i cannot agree with your arguement. I really think Len, Noel, Oladipo, Potter and even Macklemore would have had better careers if they walked into the same Cavs situation that Bennett did. Dude is a bust.
Well Bennett is still a bust but if you compare him to some second picks then you can make some comparisons because number 2 picks don’t have a good track records
He couldn’t even play in Europe. I’m sorry he’s a bust
I don't know why people in the media always mentions Kwame Brown. It's like they're cared of dude or something.
Because of Jordan's involvement. It's a chance to chip away at him as the goat without having a large amount of backlash
@@shanaeverowe9626 good point
Cleveland Cavaliers another bad picks 😅😂😅😂😅
If you think about it cavs couldnt have won without him
bro you chattin , dude is the biggest bust simple
Honestly they way you turned "expectations were low for him from the get go despite being a number 1 pick" into a 20 minute video, that's actually entertaining at that, is truly impressive.
Great f*cking video.
Thank you for a refreshing take on this subject. Bennett is the poster child on the issue unfairly.
Who?
KeepgrowonJesus
Jordan and Kobe are my goats over LeBum
Kai Sotto is better than Anthony Bennett
Jesus bless him
Naaa bruh. You wrong on this one. Anthony Bennet is THE biggest bust in nba history.
ADDENDUM: Jordan is the GOAT by far.
and LeBron James is the best number 1 pick of all time
19:00
biggest bust? oh you mean L meat zion?
I got lost in the arguments but I enjoyed the process.
