Working as a volunteer in a domestic violence victims advocacy group, I learned the hard truth that abused women do stay even when they have a support network. What was more demoralizing, even if they managed to leave 99.99% of the time they returned to the abuser. They're definitely a different breed. No judgement. To each it's own! I couldn't deal with the fact that they choose to remain in abusive relationships. So, if I were Eve I'd run as fast as I could away from that insanity.
It's a sad truth, those women believe they are nothing without their abusive partners. Because they haven't healed from their own trauma and pain and suffer from low self esteem. And thank you for volunteering for a good cause 💗
