This storyline is just ridiculous, Now Kheerat has confessed that is all the evidence they need, If he would have just left it alone, It would have been proved it was self defence or it would have come out it was Ravi, now with no one looking i don't think it will ever come out , To make it even worse Nish wanted Kheerat gone from the start, So he could run the House, Also Ash and Vinnie don't Know how controlling there dad is and they don't know about Eve, Kheerat should have told them before he left ,I think Kheerat should have had a different exit all together to be honest because right now Suki would have been safer in prison.
They’d only be able to prove it was self defence if the police had the usb stick. And even then, they’ll still not go easy on Suki because never went straight to the police. Plus the actor who played Kheerat has left Eastenders so this way the door is still left open if he comes back.

......and after the police find ONLY Suki and Ravi's DNA on Ranveer's dead body and clothes....find no supporting CCTV evidence of Kheerat moving Ranveer's dead body out of the flat or his car leaving the Square.....and extract the original home security camera footage, from the laptops hard-drive, revealing Suki and Ravi as accomplices in the murder of Ranveer.
Rather than accepting that mountain of evidence, they go with Kheerat guilty of murder plea. Why ? They probably want to deny Stacey any happiness and resign her to a life with Martin.

And Ravi & Nish are just letting it happen, when Ravi should own up & confess that he killed Ranveer. Suki isn't safe now, he has complete control over her now, she is trapped. I know she has Ash & Vinny but I don't know how she can escape from him. I know Eve will be there for her.😢😢😢

Well eve only gave legal advice. He chose to go to eve before going to his mum, Stacey or the police. Even if she hadn’t, kheerat would have probably still gone to the policev

When she does find out eventually, Kheerat will still be in trouble with the police, for lying & wasting police time. And he was perverting the cause of justice which is a crime. So he will still stay in prison but his sentence would just be reduced.

His exit was done so stupidly. It just doesn’t make any sense. Such a let down with his character exit especially as he was a good edition to the show.

I’m saddened to see him go though, don’t get why he had to as that just ruins storyline in my opinion.
Tell me I’m exaggerating but Kheerat felt like the only interesting character for some reason.
I even skipped parts of the episode on iPlayer just to see either Jay, Lola, Phil or Kheerat’s part.
Gutted. Never saw that coming, but that was a memorable bow out for sure. Lots of good lines in this episode. Seems a bit rushed. But, at least, he had the chance to say what he has to say and to say goodbye to the ones he loves.

Kheerat is right in telling Ash and Vinny to protect Suki from Nish because Nish was the one along with Nina who persuaded Ravi to lie and let Suki think she killed him

@@alisonselway5740 I don’t think they’ll recast Kheerat. They’ll probably just have it mentioned in the show that he confessed to the police, pleaded guilty and then given his sentence. I’m guessing they’ll give him a life sentence. So that means in years time, if they wanted kheerat back and Jaz wanted to come back it would be realistic bringing him back. I don’t think they’ll recast him though.

Kheerat goes to prison instead of dying because the actor wants to quit the show and could return in the future. Lola dies from a brain tumor and can’t return in future storylines, but the actor wants to stay and continue Eastenders??? Both are fan favorite characters but Lola is a veteran character.
Lolas exit was announced months ago. They got a new producer and they decided to write out five characters, Lola, peter, Dana, stuart and rainie. I’m guessing Kheerats contract ran up and he didn’t want to renew it.

@@sylvisu1752 it happens when they get new producers unfortunately, she was still contracted but the new producer just decided he didn’t want to renew her contract. Unfortunately it happens with any tv series, or film series. Once your contract runs out, it’s up to the producer if they want to renew it or not.
