In this tutorial video, I want to teach you how to do a bath transfer from your wheelchair and also transfer back into your wheelchair from the bath.
When I learned to do the bath transfer it changed my life and increased my quality of life dramatically because now I was able to transfer into a bath without any assistance and gain back my independence after my accident.
I encourage everyone to learn this basic bath transfer technique to be more independent and also be able to travel anywhere without assistance.

Seeing that there was fall was difficult for me this time around. I am familiar with the challenges of paralysis though as an onlooker/helper, and I know people want & need to know that things don't always go well or as planned... but that made it that much more real.
Be encouraged... God is with you, and be careful 🙏 I know total independence is preferred but it's also comforting to see that you're not afraid to accept help when needed. Great example for all of us 👍👍

Wow! You make it look so easy. There's always a concern that you could slip and hurt yourself but that was very educational. As always, thank you for sharing. I've learned so much about paraplegics that I never knew before. You are such a blessing. You answer questions that some people are hesitant to ask. I find it amazing actually. I especially appriciate your bloopers in the beginning! It demonstrates that evn a young guy in great shape dos'nt get it everytime either. I was struck with CIDP 10 Months ago. I went from working and walking one day to nither from that night on.. A month and a half later I was Quad. That lasted for 2 months til treatments and hard work brought me to be only para. My insurance does not carry physical therapy so I have to learn on my own. In only 4 weeks I can do most chair/bed transffers. I attribute most of the to being a mean determined bastard. lol Don't tell me I can't do something!.
To top it off I turn 62 in April.I go home in 22 days!

If you are new to it make sure you have someone with you to help you the first couple of times and keep your phone in an easily accessible bag attached to your chair in case you are ever unable to get out so that you can call for help. And before you try to use your phone make sure to drain the water from the tub and to place a towel from your wheelchair's seat on your lab so that you eliminate the risk of your phone falling into the water and causing a fire or something.

Again this is very educational. I mean i thought people with SCI always needs handrails and everything. Its all about adapting on what you have.
And also Im about to ask when i saw the comments about spasms. But How do you manage to ease spasms? Do you stretch? doing some foot work leg work? Hmmm..

Isolation at home is perfect time to create content like this. Glad you found it educational man.
You can adapt and overcome anything if you set your mind to it :) I don't have spasms anymore fortunately! But I have had in the past. Stretching helps, and then also just take it slow. Let them work themselves out as you go along. Spasms can be very frustrating and even dangerous so take care.
Israel will happen 2021 only. Corona has delayed it a bit!

Incomplete injury so I don't have a bowel regime like normal spinal injuries.
Intermittent catheterization works best for me to avoid UTI's
