- Fastest little racing boat I have tried myself. I also reviewed the FT011. Which is the larger boat by Feilun. This one is less expensive and seems to be just as fast. Fun because it flies over the water and self rights itself if it flips over. Before it gets to cold it might be time to get an RC boat out on the water one last time.

Glad to see this is just as fast. Have the F011 but now I may want to pick up the F012 so I can race my wife. The F012 is a blast.
I actually loved the FT011. I was skeptical when I saw the smaller version. I thought ahhh. Maybe not. haha but it's such a little rocket I can imagine on a calm lake it would fly.

These are so fun. In calm water a sharp right turn and you can jump your wake.

My shaft bearings went out. Does anyone happen to know the size?
If you upgrade radio system, you need forward and reverse esc to get the self righting feature, if you install only forward esc , keep the boat up side down .
Do you know if you can run a 2s battery on it, comes with a 3s???
The proboat sonic wake is 36in long and goes 50+ mph. It also has selfrighting, of course

Can anyone tell me if you have to repair the controller and bait if it goes into safe mode from driving it too far away? I feel like I went too far out cause mine did that, and I can’t get it to go back to full throttle without it shutting out again
I have one of these it is truly a rocket
I have this and mine won't make sharp turns like yours and fill up with water a good amount even though I put both lids on secure. What am I doing wrong or do I need to make adjustments that I missed?
Ive watched 4 videos on these self-righting boats, unfortunately none have shown that feature.
Can you run 2s 3200 mah battery on this FT012 seems like it comes with a 3s??? Don't mind it been a bit slower as I will have my son play with it.

I have the FT012 it is fun but the Esc is not that good I changed two and now I can't even find Esc for my boat anymore. Banggood or other websites don't have it. I'm well disappointed that I can't use my FT012 anymore. Can anyone help?

Can this run on 2s?
Hey Justin I met someone eariler this summer that had this boat, and I was told someone things can you confirm 1) you can't run the batter all the way down when using it you leave a small amount of charge before it has to recharged 2) you have watch temp on battery it can ruin it thanks
+nick svaluto two points that are correct yes. This is a lipo so you have to watch your voltage when you run it. Best to get a colt checker. A good rule is don't run it down past 11.1v if it's 3S and not past 7.2v id its a 2S battery. Always run the boat in under 90 degree temps if you can.
@@dronecamps The maximun you shouldn't run a lipo down is 3.2 volts per cell and that's pushing it a bit.

Super fast on the water. I had fun with this one. The more boats I try the more I like them. Never got into them that much. I have another one coming that is going to be a super big and fast one. I can't wait to try it.
