- Photobiomodulation, low-level laser therapy (LLLT), or cold laser has been studied for over a half-century and the list of health benefits continues to grow. From decreased inflammation and increased blood flow, to production of neurotransmitters and formation of new nerve cells, LLLT is fast becoming one of the most effective holistic/full-person healing modalities. Learn more about the science behind LLLT and the health benefits supported by the literature.
For Years I have felt that light and sound tech would advance.
Now that I have seen a massive “take” being played in pharma and all health /wealth care industries, this makes sense.
Light and Sound Tech will eliminate drugs! Bang! Boom!
Now it’s clear!
Well, I never leave reviews on products, but I would in this topic. I purchased a photo bio modulation devise for my son with ASD , I use the alpha light on him for about 10 mins a day at night he will fall sleep in 10 or 15 minutes, 8 hours straight. The next day I ask how he feels , he will tell me he wants to use the devise again.
my sleep has improved 100%

This is a great overview! Thank you! I need to find someone in Michigan to help my 36 year-old son asap!
We do provide distance counseling - 828.318.7405
It's not just your 36 year old son - much of the under 30 year olds are facing all kinds of life challenges, unlike most of us older folks have ever seen before! I grew up in the 1970's and 80's - those were fantastic decades!

Dr Trayford is awesome!
You are very kind, Paul. Thank you - hope all is great!
I am considered light skinned. My friends who have hair have white scalps. My scalp is not white, it is close to skin color. Because most of the hair on my head fell out. There are small hairs on the top of my head. Some of these small feathers are slightly black, and some are white-yellow.
I'm an electronic engineer. I want to make a hair laser hat that is not LED but only LASER. In what wavelength range and how many mW power should I choose medical lasers? Please could you tell me the estimated wavelength range based on my non-white scalp?
Thanks for the video. Can it help with depression and anxiety? Which areas of the brain need to be focused on?
Laser is a great addition to any mental health program! And, it's not always about focus on the brain. Gut laser can impact the microbiome and serotonin production; and can often yield greater outcomes than treating the brain directly. As far as brain, the frontal lobes should be addressed, among other areas. As no two laser types are created equal, always seek expert advice on how to administer appropriately. We are available for consultation at 828.708.5274.
Wow! My son needs you right now! He’s had brain trauma from meningitis, TBIs, and now mold toxicity, Bartonella, Babesia, and on top of this, Covid did a number on him in December and January. He has constant head pressure, limb numbness, pain, burning skin, no appetite, along with many other symptoms. I’m scared, but the doctor, after tryin antibiotics which he though caused him to feel worse, and now he’s on Ivermectin and has been for about 2 weeks. The dr is in Italy, but this guy needs help fast or I’m afraid it will be too late.
Great info! Where are you located?
We are in Asheville, NC. Please call us at 828.708.5274 to discuss as there are many ways we can help; both in person or via distance consulting.
I am a bit like your son, wellred coronet with the intranasal twice a day helped me a lot. It is 40 Hz instead of 10Hz but still I am improving a lot with only a week of using it. It looks like witchery, good witchery!
@pau1976 Good to hear. Have you continued to improve or have you sustained the improvements you made?
@@Karla-mu6hn Unfortunately, no. It didn’t help, and he became disgusted and stopped his meds for Lyme. His personality changed, and he was manic and crazy for about 6 months. Finally, he’s getting ketamine treatments. I’m praying it helps!
@@Tinyteacher1111hope your son gets better. Prayers for your family. I've been researching light therapy and lions mane mushrooms for brain health. Look into it, it may help🧡
I am very interested in learning about this laser treatment. My daughter has SCI, has had head trauma, Lyme disease since 2010, and we use LED lights, by Warp, Photonic health,Bemer, blue light therapy, and infra red. She’s by far smarter than my husband and I put together, but still trying to heal that body.
I have had multiple concussions myself( the mom), ect.
Feel free to call us to speak with one of our providers. 828.708.5274. We are in Asheville, NC.
I wished you were here in Aix en Provence in France 🙂 I'd come to see you with my mum.
Thank you. We have had patients travel from France :)
@@ApexbraincentersAvl I ordered a LED hat and me and my mum now started using it. It has 172 * 660nm and 43 * 880nm lights. We do a 15mn session a day. It's a cheap alternative but that's the only thing we could find here. A shot in the dark ! With the right light 🙂
@@stephaneislistening6103 We can get lasers shipped to FR. Let us k ow if you’d like more information.
How does this compare to using red light and far infra red light body wraps? Laser is different how? what is the best combination for neurodegenerative disease? THANKS!
There is really no comparison. The wraps you mention are LED lights, which are quite different from laser. There is mention/explanation in the video of this, and the differences. Re: neurodegenerative diseases, there is more evidence pointing to lasers for this than LED.
Hello, I’ve had post concussion syndrome for 10 plus months. Is a full recovery possible and if so how many treatments would it take?
We have seen many with long standing PCS that have made full or near complete recoveries. For more complicated PCS, laser itself is not the only modality we employ as there are chronic compensations that have been made in the nervous system that require much hands-on rehabilitation of key systems that feed the brain information - such as visual, balance, and other systems. Laser is a great help, and we typically start at 10 sessions. Please call us at 828.708.5274 if you'd like to discuss further.
From the studies I've read, lasers are wayyyyy better than LED.
Lasers versus LEDs ?I understand the LEDs will take longer but it's the same frequency. if using the same light nm ow does red light therapy LEDs work comparatively to laser low light therapy?
There are no easy answers here as they are very different types of light devices. It's not as simple as more LED equaling the effect of laser. One is diffuse/divergent (LED) one is coherent/convergent (laser). Different tools for different needs. This paper may help a bit - www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6091542/
LED's need more power to get the same photon density. Essentially no difference per area as long as you turn up the power. Im still not convinced 630nm is useful. Penetration and frequency are apparently important. 1070nm was resorted to in the cranial helmets with LEDs.
I had a tabletop red light therapy device, is it powerful enough for brain treatment? I am withdrawing from Benzodiazepines after 10 years using. Thank you for your amazing work.
Hard to say. There’s so many devices out there. Without specs we cannot comment.
Do you have any research or experience with relieving shingles pain, PHN?
Yes, many cases of reduced pain with shingles/PHN with LLLT, as well as other modalities. Simply Google low level laser therapy and shingles phn and you will find a number of references/papers touting positive results. One paper stating: Overall, low-level laser therapy (LLLT) proved itself an excellent therapeutic modality for the relief of pain in post-herpetic neuralgia patients, which may replace pain management medicines in future!
Can this help cataracts? Sounds as though it could.
This is certainly controversial as therapeutic lasers should not be used for the eyes, although there are protocols for creating more systemic effects that can help with visual acuity in those with cataracts.
Can you use photobiomodulation (lllt) to treat dyslexia?
It can be used as support/adjunct therapy for more comprehensive brain-based rehabilitation for dyslexia and other disorders of learning.
Can we combine it with vibrational energy in sound/audio form?
Certainly - we often do!
Would you recommend a home treatment therapy machine for home?
Yes, best to call us at 828.708.5274 to discuss options.
Does this help with migraines and also neck -c1 and c2 pain?
In many cases, yes. Feel free to call us at 828.798.5274 to discuss.
Can Photobiomadulation help with folks who suffered with Lacunar Infarcts and or small blood vessel decease in the brain?
There is quite a bit of evidence on the impacts of LLLT on traumatic and acquired brain injuries, including stroke/CVAs. We use it daily in our clinic for TBI recovery.
@@ApexbraincentersAvl thanks for this video and all the studies and benefits of LLLT it is truly remarkable.
@@007jjb Our pleasure. Thanks so much for following!
Do they emit a lot of emfs
No.
what about hypoxic-anoxic injury in adults after heart attack (motor neuron disease)
We, unfortunately, see a great deal of anoxic brain injury cases, a large portion due to cardiovascular events, and use laser on every one of them. Please call us at 828.708.5274 to discuss.
Low level lazer therapy machines recomended for home use please specify the brand name or product name
We are not here to promote any specific brand of laser. We use several as there are different tools for different needs. Best to call us or consult with someone who provides laser therapy to determine which might be best for your specific needs.
I’ve had a Platinum led panel with red and NIR bulbs now for 3 years. I am about to have cataract surgery and went to my ophthalmologist who has been monitoring me for 15 years. He reported that the morphology of my corneal cells and retinal cells have improved significantly and my cataract has actually decreased a bit. I am proceeding with the surgery because I’m inserting premium IOL for refraction benefits. There is a book on Red Light Therapy written by Ari Whitten that is excellent from a lay perspective. For a deeper more research oriented dive just search text by Hamblin.
@@sicplano how did things go with recovery after surgery?
Do hair lasers that regrow hair. Are they part of this healing process
Most "laser" hair growth tools are LED, not laser. They certainly have healing properties, although the vast majority of literature on cellular healing and function is with low-level lasers.
Where are all your locations?
How effective could this be for those who suffer from opioid addiction?
There are a number of studies pointing to the benefits of laser therapy and brain regions involved in addiction. Many programs are on-boarding laser therapies. We utilize cold laser for all our patients with substance use disorders.
Is this the same as the laser used to grow hair back?
No, but there are folks that have increased hair growth with this type of laser therapy.
Do you use it for eyes too?
How long it take a session for eyes and transcranial terapy?
Typical transcranial sessions can last 5-20 minutes, depending on applications. Lasers are generally not safe for use on the eyes.
@ApexbraincentersAvl I read many study that use lllt or fbm for eye ilnesses such as AMD, diabetic retinopaty, glaucoma, high miopia and all of them are based on the same concept of cells modulation, most of them use 670nm range. So you say are not safe,hmmm..
@@christiantm704 There are certainly applications for eye conditions and we utilize some, although I’m not going to make recommendations for the general public to go shining lasers in their eyes.
@@ApexbraincentersAvl What kind of eye problems do you treat with lllt ?
@@christiantm704 Primarily cortical visual impairment with brain injuries we see. Also, peripheral loss, hemifield loss, and some metabolic eye issues.
Potential cte treatment?
Yes. There is evidence of certain types of laser helping to break up the tangles in the brain associated with CTE, Alzheimer’s, etc. in addition to all the other benefits of decreased inflammation, increases cerebral blood flow and activation, neurogenesis, etc.
@@ApexbraincentersAvl that's great to hear. Will hyperpolarized light have similar effects? Thanks for the response
@@Mikesworld777 In theory, possibly at the lower wavelengths. We don't utilize this type of light therapy, and only have limited knowledge on it. All of our work is in the red/IR low-level laser realm; which is where most of the research sits for what we work with.
How do I get this treatment for Parkinson
Please call us at 828.708.5274.
would red laser help with parkinson? i see some companies are going up the nasal area plus a helment?? what about using a full body red light panel also?
Red light helmets and light panels are LED, not laser. There is quite a bit going on in the way of red light and it can be confusing to say the least. With regard to PD, we use strictly laser (red, IR, green, violet) in working with these cases.
This is so frustrating because you never talk about which color light applies to which conditions. Nor do you mention how people get access to these kinds of lights….
This is an overview presentation. Every case is unique and proper evaluation is necessary before specific recommendations can be made.
He gives his telephone number and you can call. Most places have brochures they can send and his pricing at the end is reasonable.
It’s mostly red light therapy. There are CZcams videos, over 8,000 peer reviewed studies and lasers for sale on eBay.
I though of the same thing , I’m in California nowhere near NC , is this light available to people to buy ? Thank you ❤
Go outside when it’s sunny
Can a 5 month old try this?
We utilize cold laser on infants and toddlers regularly.
You mentioned tinnitus...
You've cured tinnitus w laser therapy???
If so, I'm going to need to book an appointment. Asap
Tinnitus can be tricky. Much depends on whether it’s a central (brain) problem, or peripheral (nerve, ear) problem. Best to call us at 828.708.5274 to discuss.
