Regarding the sensor automatically switching between the electronic viewfinder (EVF) and back screen at 5:34: you can set a custom button to switch between the EVF and screen.
Second camera menu (second from right) > Page 4 > Customize buttons > Set button.
Choose which button you want to use for switching. For example, the M-Fn button. Scroll down to the bottom of the options. Select the icon in the bottom row, second from the left. It looks like a square with vertical lines on each side. That’s “Switch between VF/screen.” Select it and press Set button.
Now you control whether you want to use the EVF or back screen.
You may want to check the firmware and install the latest version if your camera doesn’t have it. Canon improved the eye-tracking autofocus.
