Thank you for making this video straight to the point short and not long and drawn out with a bunch of other talking points. I love videos that get straight to the point and show us what we need to do.
I found a literal dead stalk of lucky bamboo at my in-laws closet this morning. The plant was literally dead and molding having been in a dark closet for years and I was told to just throw it out. Luckily I inspected it closer and saw that it was still trying to live as it had a small green branch. Watching your video I removed all the yellowed stalks and leaves so now it's just a twig, but hopefully now that it's in sunlight and has water it'll start to grow strong!!
I have a plant that is 8 years old. It was absolutely lovely and growing so tall I felt it needed trimming. Well another man on CZcams had a video that said to just trim off the longer branches. Now it’s not doing well. I wish I left it alone. So my question is: at what point do I trim off the yellowing leaves? Just the top yellowing part? Or down to the stalk? Thank you 🙏 I love your videos!!
I am experiencing something similar, mine is 3 years old, but it was growing very tall so I chopped couple of inches front the bottom, but now it’s not growing any roots and the leaves are turning yellow 😢
Hello! Thank you for your video! I have 4 stems in one pot and 2 of them are green and healthy and 2 are turning yellow. I’m not sure what’s wrong. Do I need to move the 2 yellow stems to another pot? Thank you so much for your help!
the stalks seem to age out after awhile no matter what. I had some four and five foot stalks in a display that lasted 3 years. The crreeping yellow started at the bottom, I kept trimming at the nodes which bought time. But once that progression starts you can't stop it.
Sir I have two lucky bamboo. One is green and healthy but the other unfortunately dried. I could not save the leaves or the stem as you have showed. But I cut the root part and placed in a small mini cup with a little mineral water. Will it grow from here? Pls respond - thank you!! From Montreal
My 7 or 10 roots is still yellow....can I cut the whole root section and will new roots come....there is only 1 branch now with 1 leaf!!!! Changed the water and washed the pebbles etc.
You don't need marbles. You don't have to use anything, but you can use leca, large gravel, or small pebbles. These just help it to stay steady standing up. It's best to use distilled water, but you can tap water that sits out overnight so the chlorine will evaporate. If you have a lot of flouride or if your water is hard, it's best to use distilled water.

I loved reading your comment. What’s the update with the plant? Good luck with your project.
Why am I feeling sad for this little plant? Lol. You saved this neglected little dude and gave it a new life. Bless you. Lol.

I’ve only had my bamboo plant for a year, but from the videos I’ve seen when cutting any dead leaves or stems it should be cut at the root

@@handmadebychiru777 isn’t it awful?!? I should have left it alone. Good luck…. I hope it recovers. I think we shocked the SH out of our plants. 🌱
@@handmadebychiru777 this “expert” never answers questions. It’s so frustrating.
Very helpful for me.
Thank u sir.
You very welcome.

I want to try this to save my lucky bamboo. Do you keep it in the water or do you move to soil? What are your recommendations for the soil?

You are so welcome
Will it grow a new stalk or will the leaves just grow tall ? How tall will they grow?
Hi! Thanks for this video. I am trying to revive a plant. Should I completely remove the yellow part?
Yes you do. Don’t worry if the stem is healthy it will grow back.
In this process can you please let me know how often shall I change the water during this period?
Also, can I dump out all the water and wash the container? I see a shoot starting up against the glass but it’s UNDER THE WATER! Is that okay?

do the leaves go back to dark green?
Thank you for the video, the loud background music made it very difficult to watch. Any chance you could amend this?
I really wanted to know if I can trim the ends of the brown leafs
Yes that’s perfectly okay. The leafs not gonna get green again.
So you don't repot into soil ever??
how long can you keep the bamboo in the marbles? the one have was in soil and rocks

What can we do if we dotn have marbles ?
How do I get them to turn dark green? Mine have burnt ends, and the leaves are turning light green. Can I give it fertilizer?
Might be too much light. Put them in moderate light and see what happens after a few weeks.
