You are so amazing Chelsea! May God continue to use you and bless all of your endeavors.
Hi Abby!!! Thank you so much for your kind words. All glory belongs to Him. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great tips, Chelsea! Re: volunteering, I recommend organizations like AFS-USA and American Councils, through which you can get great experience working with hosted international students or US students going abroad.
Hi! Thank you so much for sharing this! Great information 😊
Hey do you think international students can volunteer at these organizations?
@@lindasarpong8544 For AFS, yes! As long as you're a registered volunteer. I am not sure about American Councils, but I recommend reaching out.
I LOOOOOVE YOUR story and the fact that you are a beautiful black woman doing her thing at DoS. I have looked deeply into this career field and covet the vital role that you all partake in maintaining our nation’s safety as well as “likeability.” You’ve not only inspired me to continue journaling but to also pick up a language. Thanks Sis and keep rockin! 💚💚💚
Hello! Thank you so much for commenting. If I can do it, you definitely can :-) Cheering you on!!
Thanks for your video. Best wishes to you 💖
Great tips! Thank you!
Thank you!!!!
Thank you for the helpful tips!!! It is such an interesting field. Thank you for serving our country as a diplomat!!!
I am glad this was helpful! And thank you so much :-). It is truly an honor.
Thank you so much
So helpful 😊
You’re quite welcome! Glad it was helpful. Let me know video topics you would like to see!!
Thank you for sharing these tips. You're literally living the dream 🥲
Waiting to hear from AU SIS graduate admissions now and starting an internship at OAS next month. I'd love to do a tour as an LNA at State and eventually become an FSO but the competition is stiff.
Here's to dreaming 🍻
Hello! I am wishing you all the best! If I can do it, you definitely can do it :-)
I really love your content, it is very encouraging because I do not know what to do after completing my honors this year in Political sciences. I now know that I must gain experience, and apply for internships for next year (hopefully abroad). Could you send links to a few internships that you know of and would recommend?
Hi! Thanks for the compliment! I really appreciate it. I found my first internship through my city’s portal for sharing information. It might still exist but it was called Baltimore Collegetown. If you’re no where near Baltimore, I would suggest just Googling internships near me, internships in political sciences, etc. Also, visit your school’s career center. Another tip is to visit other university’s webpages. Sometimes the big named schools have lists of internships on their career center website.
Please, explain me how do people live during unpaid volunteering positions and internship? Where do you get money for basic needs? And I'm talking about paying bills, not a vacation on Bali
How did you teach in Spain? I’d love an opportunity like that
I have a ton of questions, I would like to ask you regarding g Fsot and also overseas living in Dubai
Thanks for sharing these tops. How many different languages do you speak and which ones?
Hi Shannon! English, Portuguese and I am going to re study Spanish soon. I also know some American Sign Language. Thanks for leaving a comment and watching!
I have a question actually that can I be a diplomat or be in civil service in USA after completing my phd in IR in Pakistan????
This video caught my attention and I really love your tips😍but do you have an idea of any organization one can volunteer for in Nigeria as a language student?
Hi Esther! I am unfamiliar with opportunities in Nigeria for language students. You probably already did it, but have you used search terms in Google like "volunteer opportunities near me" or "volunteer opportunities for language students near me?" Also, I would call around to local NGOs and see if they have opportunities if you haven't already. Local universities might have some answers too. Hope this helps! :-)
How do you manage to volunteer and get into unpaid internships without any source of income?
Hi I love your channel, I'm currently a Wildland Firefighter and going to college for international relations. I've worked in Kenya training firefighters, will that experience help me land a job in IR? Thank you.
Hi Dale! Thank you for the compliment. I am not the sole judge, but that sounds like amazing and unique experience. Cheering you on!
Hey There (soon to be Mrs Traveler) Do you have any plans to give advice on passing the FSOT exam?
Ok, I now see a video you made on this topic. Thanks in advance
Glad you found it: czcams.com/video/kq993xeArNg/video.html&t
