  • In this video I will be showing you everything you need to know to properly and safely adjust your vehicle's toe angle after changing a steering system component. Your tires can be worn rapidly if your toe angles are wrong after doing repairs to your steering system, even in just a short drive to the alignment shop. This is not a hard job but with my tips and tricks you'll be getting your toe angles probably better than the alignment shop will do. This is important gearhead stuff to know!
    This is another episode of a new series on how to become a GEARHEAD! If you have ever wondered how people know so much about cars and are absolutely crazy about anything with a motor, then this is a great series for you. This is geared towards people that have no knowledge of cars but want to learn; however, the content in my videos does try to make solid connections between theory and practical applications so even seasoned gearheads will find the info useful. Tired of paying other people money to fix your car? Then ya gotta learn this stuff!
    Are you loving the Gearhead series? Share with your friends and get them interested in wrenching on cars and saving money.....it's never been easier! Why do we have to take it to the alignment shop if we align the tires properly (zero degree)? 🤔

    • @wayofthewrench
      @wayofthewrench  Před měsícem +1

      Great question. First I would say that depending on your skill level, there is a lot of room for error using this method. You get it close but maybe not close enough. The second reason is that some vehicles don't want zero degrees toe and you might not have access to those specs. Hope that helps. Thanks for the watch and welcome to the channel!
