I brought the EDCL2-T over the Defender for a couple of reasons. The main one being, that you get that low 5 lumens first. That way, in a low or zero light situation, you won't totally destroy your night vision if using it for a less than tactical situation. (eg. going to the toilet in the middle of the night, or just needing to remove something from your back pack). Great review!
I own both. E2D all the way. Nothing to do with runtimes. The tailcap switch on the other one is ridiculously hard as a rock to press. Ironically the SureFire Tactician model has the very same gas-pedal tailcap switch. But that one was designed the right way. Also, wow! You guys are absolutely getting ripped off one prices for these lights in Australia!
I have an EDC-L2T. I really like the “gas pedal” button. I do have to screw in the tail cap to a certain point to get the feel the way I like it though. My favorite feature is using constant on, low, and having instant access to high, momentary, by pressing the button.
The gas pedal button is one of the best things in flashlights world fo me. I have edcl1-t and edcl2-t. I regret it is not very common :( If only new edc throwers from surefire had this, I would definitely buy one or even both versions of them.
Thanks! They both use two 123a, so I guess they should work fine. Have you tried? May be you can make a video about all kinds of mixes and swaps, haha, should be fun!@@flashlightcrazy

I do like the more aggressive look.
Awesome review once again 👏
Thanks for watching

Looks like Weltool has a new light. Looked at their website last night and saw the T17. Never saw that light before. Love your videos!
Thanks mate!
Have you reviewed the edc2-dft?
I love the defender ultra. Been waiting for another upgrade to this light.
Very curious if you can swap the head and tail on the different bodies😊
Yes you can. But all depends on the voltage the head requires to work

Ironical the tail switch on the EDC is more tactical and would be better on the Defender. Have you tried to exchange them?
Yeah but it does not work. The threads are much longer on the EDC
Hello! Are you still liking the cloud defensive edc light? Is that what you are carrying these days?
No, I carry Malkoffs and Modlight and Weltool at the moment
Which models are you EDCing? I am looking for something with a deep carry clip that has a good throw. @@flashlightcrazy
Modlite PLHv2
Weltool LH1 Head and 18350 Body@@WarlockWanna
@@flashlightcrazy cool, thanks
I would get it really for sure if it's a reversible clip😣 those like Olight does....
The new ones are with reversible clips.
@@xxxqqq I mean those like Olight does....
Oh, yeah, my mistake, Olight's dual clips looks pretty nice! @@gearstuffs8007
i rather get shot than to pay 390 Dollars for a flashlight.
Hahhahahahahahhaha I love the point you make!!
I think its a good flashlight but even 100$ would be sketchy.
This made me laugh 😂
take the shot then🔥
