Okay. Didn’t know that Twisted Metal and Gran Turismo did that well. I’ll hope the GR movie is good and buy any ports they do to PS5, especially if GR2 gets 60 fps update

I just think it’s not fair and confusing for Japan Studio to close down. Then Sony as a whole to use these IPs again. Why close the studio if you have intentions to bring these IPs back in ANY kind of way?

I think it's because of their new initiative to allow anyone who comes to them with an idea to use their IPs.

How about you invest time and resources into a business that only loses you money? Then you can talk about fairness all you want.
Japan Studio hadn't put a single game for the past decade that didn't flop.
Seems like Demon Soul's at least made back development costs and turned in minuscule profits, but by then, it was too little too late.
