Josh eating Olive Garden with chopsticks isn’t something I thought of but it makes sense. Chopsticks do make eating noodles/pasta easier to eat if you know how to use them.
a lot of asian ppl do it. my family would eat spaghetti with chopsticks. we would set the table the same way, no matter which style of food we were eating that night.
My son tried to tell me it was wrong that I eat spaghetti with chopsticks. I asked him if that meant he could no longer eat Chinese food with a fork. After some deliberation he decided to just have egg drop soup from now on. I doubt his resolve.

The par-baked breadsticks at Olive Garden are glazed with salty, garlic powder laden margarine, only AFTER they are browned. They are then dumped into a heated drawer to await their fate. I know this from actual work experience.🤗🤗🤗
I am so happy to hear he puts anchovies in the sauce. I have been doing that since my teenage years when I started learning about flavors and cooking. And everybody always asks me what’s so different about your sauce and because I’m not a crazy person and I don’t have a secret recipe. I tell them never before because some people won’t eat it because they’re idiots, but I put anchovy paste in my red sauces. I put it in a lot more than that by the way not overwhelming just enough to make it taste a little different but it’s just umami. and I’ll tell you what I’ll even go further here’s a secret that’s not really a secret and I tell everybody this after they’ve eaten it because again, it makes people not want to eat it in my queso I add cream of mushroom like a condensed can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup. Nobody will know but they will come and they will taste your queso even if it is the simplest Velveeta rotelle queso just by adding that can yours will taste different and people will love it but let them eat it before you tell them because you’re gonna get some weird adult that you probably shouldn’t be friends with who thinks mushrooms are gross. I generally use two cans of the cream of mushroom and every new person who has tried the queso always has that look on their face of this is really good and different. What did you do?
I'll have to try the anchovy method, usually I just add a mixture of soy sauce and worcestershire sauce, before I add salt of course. That way it's not too salty and it packs a bit of umami punch. Oh, and you can't forget the pinch of msg.
Olive Garden doesn't salt their pasta water? Well, that certainly explains a lot.

Years ago I was at Walmart and a chef from OG sprints into the pasta aisle and grabs as much pasta as he can and sprints to the register and out the store! Someone either mis-ordered the pasta supply for the restaurant or something else happened. To this day I still wonder why he didn't take his OG chef jacket off
