- I visited the Goodiwll in Fogelsville to see what treasures I could find I bought a few pieces for myself and a few for resale. After Gooodwill, I spent some time sorting through our third floor.

Need to popularize repurposing single shakers for homemade cinnamon sugar for toast! That will give those single shakers a new life and a purpose to be picked and sold!! 😄🧂
thats a great idea!!! or pretty shaker of garlic powder on a table
Genius!!
I need to get one for that. Don’t they need to have bigger holes. I usually make a tiny bowl but a shake would be better.
Great idea!!!!!
I put my cinnamon sugar in a single (orphaned) salt shaker. The holes are on the big side 👍🏼
Be means just "be" be you, be who you are. I remember at my Dad's funeral I wrote that even though my Dad and I didn't always get along and yes, we would argue at the end of the day, we would just "be" I was me and he was him. I love the symbolism of it. We learned to just "be" together.
(red long handled bucket) Chinese Wedding bucket some listed on eBay from $65-$500
none sold yet.
The red basket with lid is a Chinese wedding basket. They were used to transport gifts during the engagement & wedding.
tx for the explanation!
I found a much larger one without the handles and it’s antique rice bucket made from fir wood and the origin is from ZHEJIANG
This one doesn't look antique, but it looks nice. It's def worth more than $3. A bougie shop would sell a basket like that for at least $50.
Please don’t pay attention to negative comments. Some people are just miserable and by criticizing others, it makes them feel superior. For those of us who watch you every day, we know how hard you work, what pleasure you give to countless others and most importantly what a wonderful mother you are to your amazing children. Love all your videos and especially enjoyed seeing how your third floor clear out is coming.
I've learned so much by watching your videos. Thank you! My finds are for myself or friends, but yesterday pulled a "Jocelyn". Found a 14" Lladro at Goodwill for $6.99!! Checked ebay and it sells anywhere from $85 to $500!!
LOL! Let’s hope Goodwill isn’t reading your comment or prices will be from $85-$500 for pottery.
@@kenyonbissett3512 so far so good on finding occasional jaw-dropping treasures!
@@bevharris3430 I’m glad. I hope that continues. 🍀 🍀 🍀
Right away, you had me laughing with the plastic cup reaction😂 Thanks again for your knowledge and humor.
I appreciate your sharing your inventory
I feel better knowing I'm not alone
You are chipping away at it. It’s a lot of work. Thanks for always being so generous with your time.
The mallard duck art is scratchboard. A clay coated board is covered with black ink, and then sharp tools are used to scratch the lines & highlights in, exposing the white clay coating underneath. Your duck was then colored with ink, dyes or watercolor.
Susan, I do scratchboard, too ❤️
Holy crow Jocelyn. Has it been two years? I remember when this whole virus thing happened and you started on the third floor . I was jealous because you had something productive to do. I recognize some of those items, I was virtually there when you bought them. Boy I have learned a lot from you since then .....thanks. 😊
I love the pitcher with the people farming. It is a familiar picture from my great grandparents house.
The slogger boot are a good buy for $10. I have paid $32 - $38 for a pair at tractor supply. They have lasted me for years. You scored on that buy!!
Girl! Air fryers are awesome. Between my air fryer and instant pot I never use my stove. LOL
Anything you put in the oven or fry you can make in the air fryer in less time.
Great video!! Thanks for taking us with you.
That little green stool had a furniture transfer on it. (I have the same one)
Love your style, so young & so smart! Thanks for bringing us into your thrifting life because I've learned so much, love your hair colors too!
A lot of people are using vintage ice buckets for planters these days. If they put a hanging plant in that deer handled one, it would hide some of the scratches and oxidization! I loved those handles…
Hahahaha!! Andrew cracks me up! He looked so not thrilled!! 😅
Everyone has their own way of doing their cleaning and clean outs, but for me I always have to start with sacking up the trash and loose floor cluster, I guess it's my OCD but I feel like when I am done with the clean out I already have the floor done! Stay you Josselyn I love your style.
Andrew is a good sport.
I like the ice bucket with the deer!
That ice bucket is perfect for a large flower arrangement
The ending. That's Crazy. Lamps. Lady, what were you thinking! You are aptly named. I have a new respect for lamps and for shades.
I have had air fryers forever and the very best one in my opinion is Dash. It’s simple, set the temp, turn the dial for time, and that’s it. No electronics…simple and easy!
Hubby went to get a toaster oven when our big oven died (we rarely used the big oven) and he came back with a Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven that Broils, Bakes, Toasts, and Air Fryer, of course, the Air Fryer is used the most!!🙂
You and Andrew work so hard for what you have. The children will remember all of it. Love you "be"ing you.
Great find on the SLOGGERS!!! I have a pair I bought a couple of years ago and absolutely LOVE them---put on some thick socks, GOOD TO GO!!! I wear them almost every day for walking our dog.
I love to see how your 3rd floor is progressing....slowly but surely things are cleaning out to sell and/or donate. Keep it up! 2:30 The red wooden carrier replicates that of an antique Chinese wooden wedding basket for the purpose of providing the bride the gifts that are needed for her wedding day and night.
Thank-you!
Why does GW put price stickers on the labels?!! Drives me crazy!
I have sloggers, the shoe type, not the boot type like those and they are super for taking my dogs out during our wet weather. You can get inserts for them for more padding under your foot. Love mine.
Air Fryers are the Bomb!!! You can make anything in them. 💗💗💗💗💗
Love seeing all your treasures. Thank you for sharing with us. 💕
Thankyou so much. Take care Andrew and crazy Lamp Lady.
So I believe ( don't hold me too it) the red container with the Lotus on the bottom is a dry rice container. I saw a video of a family business in Asia that makes them and have been doing it for generations. Some of them are extremely decorative & beautifully painted. Some are more simple done but still lovely. They have nice tight closing lids to keep the moths/pests out. Sorry the Country escapes me. May remember later. Hope this helps if you seen this. Love your channel & watch every day. 😁
It's always fun cleaning out other peoples home. But, doing your own n on the 3rd floor.. ugh! Great job! 😁
Good job Jocelyn 👍🏻. Janet is so right BE who you are . You’re a pretty great person.
Love the Greek vase! 💜
That belt !!!!!! Years ago (80's) when I had a much different life-lol, I attended a 19oo's themed ball at the American embassy in Manila. I bought a near identical belt and had it fashioned into a headband/headdress to complete my "Klimt golden woman" costume. I did buy it used at an antiques stall but I don't think it was especially old. Thanks for the memory !!!!
Just in time! 😊💜
Be yourself be kind be awesome be fearless be fierce 😉
Is it crazy that I really enjoy the third floor antics!!❤️
I have been doing the same thing. Sorting and unpacking stuff then deciding what to sell, junk and give away. Lots to do. Then squirrel moments!
Like the room clean out satisfying!!
That ice bucket would make a beautiful planter
Love the lamps!
I was there that same day before you! Looked through the same bins before all the Easter towels were put on the shelves. Bought a few sets of those. Passed on most everything else you picked up. Most of them have been there for a couple weeks. That carved wooden wall hanging looks better on video. It was very unimpressive in person. Interested in seeing how those items sell. I bought the ashtray! Selling at booth with other MCM items. Also found a couple vintage bunny figurines in that box where you saw the leather camel. Listed already. I have seen the owl shaker so many times and always tempted to buy him because he looks lonely! Found a carved wooden owl as well. The other Goodwill and Cottage Crafters is only a couple miles away. I hope you visited them as well! Always fun to watch you!
All lovely!!!
I go to this exact goodwill probably every other week. It would be so cool if I saw you one time! I’ve been losing hope in this store for a while with their prices going up and less items out.. but looks like I might need to check them out again! Also, I LOVE my air fryer.
The little embroidered bag from India, those mirrors are called shiesha mirrors they are embroidered on. If it’s got mirrors and not silver sheets, it’s vintage
That black and gold vase from Greece is gorgeous, very contemporary design!!
I just started today working at a thrift store and it is amazing to see what people purchases. I'm enjoying it. I enjoy watching your channel.
Hey Y'all!! Been waiting all day for you.
I love my Airfryer!! Anyway fun video as always Jocelyn 😊😊
Don't you love having to go thru wrapped fragiles in boxes 2 or more times...says no one 🤣 Been there & still doing that. One of the karens, i mean, comments mentioned that they could never have their house looking like a hoarders house & call it reselling. I feel your back & leg pain! I, too have a 3 story house & am a reseller (booths, not online) & have two spare bedrooms on the 2nd story, the attic a little & the some in thegarage w/ merch. I forget what i've bought & stashed away for seasonal sales & dig thru, unfortunately after the season. Good news is, if i haven't been able to satisfy my sourcing sweet tooth (aka, shopping therapy), i go upstairs, & shop thru my boxes which is "new" to me...again 🤣
I am so very happy for finding your channel again !!!
Check into an air fryer, I got mine at my GoodWill and it's one thing I use the most and LOVE it. I love to watch you and have learned a lot. Interesting when you say full shelves cause in Sheboygan WI the shelves are PACKED I know cause I work there. Thank you for all the information you share.
Jocelyn, you work really hard.
Yes Starbucks I’d love a venti iced chai latte 🤤 yum. Room is getting closer and closer to being empty. Yeah!!! Enjoy the progress!
Love the Lenox vase, boots you picked were cute, little amber pitcher,Homegood Skeleton faces. You got some new tennis shoes they match the table. Andrew and you lol!! Coal man is neat and the bird. What a busy day! You wore me out! Lol
I love your videos and your Jordans in this one!
The Lenox/Merona vase could a Target/designer collaboration. Merona is a Target brand.
I remember Merona as a higher end sportswear brand that was carried by Nordstrom in the 80’s.
i own a pair of Sloggers. Made in the USA and very comfortable and fashionable!
I love your videos, I end my night with them. I have to say, for me personally, I don’t think I could stand all the clutter. I have OCD so I would have to organize everything even if I was just cleaning out a room. I don’t know how you keep everything straight but you manage beautifully!!
Golly girl what a selection 👌, jelly of your goodwill. Airfryers are a game changer especially with kids. Good eye as usual
you should get you an air fryer they are awesome Jocelyn! Heating up leftovers, doing french fries without oil, chicken tenders, I haven't found anything yet I can't do in the air fryer. :)
I purchased 3 air fryers this last Christmas, one for each of my nephew's & they were thrilled! Each of them have said since that they have no idea how they ever cooked prior to having one:))
Air fryers aren't a safe thing to have around birds, she has a few birds.
Don’t you still use a little oil change on some things you make. I was wondering because I like to purchase one.
As i was researching air fryers i came across a Ninja Foodi, which is an air fryer, pressure cooker, it sautes, bakes, about cooks almost anything almost any way. I use mine at least 3 times a week. I leave it on the counter bcuz it weighs about 20 lbs. I even take it camping. Love it!
@@erinnswan7063 I honestly have never used one! I just bought them for my nephew's because they each wanted one. My son & daughter in law also have one, but all I've seen them cook are hash brown patties, & they do not use oil for those.. Sorry, I wish I could help you!
You go Andrew 😂
We LOVE our air fryer !!!! Wouldn't be with out it ! Use it at least 4 x a week. .
Wow! That Goodwill was full! I was distracted by the Minion plates in the very beginning. 🤣🤣 🤷🏻♀️
Omg, my air fryer is wonderful! I bought it for my bf for Christmas bc he wanted one, and he loves it. The food comes out so perfectly crispy. Better than the oven and DEFINITELY better than the microwave.
I redonate items to thrift stores stuff have purchased from same thrift stores when I fall out of love with my finds. Sometimes its good to let go of odds and ends, and junkier mismatched things and start fresh.
Our thrift stores on East coast of Florida are getting brand new products from retail stores. I got brand new foam mattress futon in box for $50.00. 💜💜💜💜💜
Sloggers are good boots 👢. I would live to be able to find things like that at my goodwill mine is so small and they hardly change stuff.
That Pyrex drip is interesting! Love it
So excited. I have that hurricane ruffled shade on a different base. Now I know that it is an Abigail Adams Quoizal.
As for that Goldtone vase - Merona is a Target brand
Jocelyn you sure are a crazy lamp lady ha ha lv from Marie in Ireland
Love your videos the most. So much knowledge to share 🙌
I've been moving furniture and boxes up and downstairs for the last month. Its exhausting ! Also filled a dumpster.
How long have you been selling on ebay?
Bay Shore is a town in Suffolk County Long Island that is on the great Southbay
Just gotta say, I liked the converse, but I LURVE the Nikes!!! 🙌🏽💜🥰
That Chinese wooden red long handled pot could be a Chinese Ju Wood food wedding basket, for $2.99!
The large Lenox vase is beautiful
Love cat’s meow!
The boots are GREAT👍
It's a Boxsket.. 🙂 not helpful but I was cracking myself up so had to share. Love to watch you, keep rocking chickie.
Are u talking about the basket with design on bottom?
The colorful wicker trivets can sell for good $ & they're so easy to ship!
It all about your perspective, as a craftsman some of your rejects look like makeover treasures! Blessed and safe days!
Would be great if we only had such thrift stores in England...love watching your videos
Yes Suzanne, I am also really envious. Most of the little charity shops nearby, that still survive, has been “posh treated” and the fun of the hunt has been removed altogether!
I’m shocked that you don’t! What do people do with their castoffs in such a historic country!
I think so too. I think we'll get bigger places here in the uk like goodwill soon cos thrift and vintage shopping is really finally catching on here. Fingers crossed!
What about charity shops?
Charity shops are tiny where I live and other places are so overpriced
O the wicker trivets!!! I hunt every yard sale and thrift store for those!!! My wall of them is slowly growing 😁
I'm thinking a sewing box with the amish/dutch style art on the bottom
Those boots are about $50 retail! Great find!💕
I really liked the wicker trivets that went in the donate box. 😢 I want to go to your donation store, lol.
so funny, my husband wants an air fryer and I have a sealed one somewhere in my house!
The house looking things marked Shelias were actually the original makers of those. She has lots of designs and most are actual historical or meaningful buildings.
If you keep the chair that lost it’s leather you might want to have a slipcover instead of reupholstered. It occurred to me that sometimes they want to replace the “stuffing” with the reupholstering. Just a thought not an expert here. Edit to say I would be interested be interested in the pitcher and bowl set that has the couple praying. Might be only one though and you might want to make it local pickup only!!
Those colorful shades go with the all one color ginger jar lamps they were popular in the eighties.
oh those Eartha pieces go for a bit , nice find !!
The aphot/pharmacy. stuff is great... the german crackeled "urne" is also from an old german pharamcy.. absolutely worth taking care of..
You know, be!! Like be yourself, be true to yourself, don't sweat the small stuff, etcetera.
My goodwill today was not loaded. Really bare bones. Lucky you!
Cool slippers,🐑🐑🐑🐑
Loving the vids! Informative and entertaining. I’d be happy to take the Coal Miner Guy if you post it on your eBay site.
Hi Jocelyn. When you think about moving you get around to sorting each room out and discover you have more stuff than you realize as half of it you forgot about. I know before I movedI found all my horse figures half I lost which all of the figurines firted into one large plastic box but according to me I only had one or two of them
