Hiking in the mountains of Bosnia and Montenegro - Thru-hike Europe LOG#22

- In this episode you discover our last days in Bosnia and Herzegovina! We could not resist to visit Sarajevo and we made there some good friends. We met Mustafa and Sumeja from the association Avantur, we stayed at Emir's for a few days and got the chance to interview Olja Latinova about her work for the Via Dinarica. We visited the desert but beautiful village of Lukomir, the highest village of the country.
We crossed the second entity of the coutry: the Republika Srpska and headed to the 9th country of this adventure: Montenegro.
Our first days in Montenegro were epic, full of suprises and great encounters. We crossed the national park of the Durmitor and stayed in the high village of Mala Crna Gora. We hiked in two beautiful canyons: Tara and Sušica.

There are very good people in Bosnia. Nice and good. Whenever I was in Bosnia I was feel like at home. Nice video and you are very brave to hiking in Bosnia and Crna gora in mountains and forrest. :-)

@@FurtherStories Slovenia :-) Ljubljana. NIce to see you in places from where my father is. As I have seen in video you were twice by river Ljubljanica, river of seven names. Six times flow under the earth, once through Postojna cave. The biggest turistic cave in Europe with electric lights from 1893. When I`ve seen Žabljak and Black lakes, I`ve had hope to go there more often then before. Have you seen bridge Đurđeviča Tara over river Tara. It is about 140 m above river. And it is fantastic view. Do you have plan on map where have you hiking? To see your path. I have worked in Montenegro and Kosovo ( KOsovo polje) and made tour of Macedonia.
For me is Macedonia the best with the best food in entiree Balkan. Taste and fresh cooked. Skar na žar and Gravče na tavče. With pinđur salad (as ajvar, but better). Balkan is wild but beautifull. Folks are nice and hospitable. I hope that Macedonia stays that way.
