Best instruction video for beginners wanting to learn the Frenzel through online learning 👌🏻 I've trained with a lot of different instructors from a lot of different organizations, but no one has helped me improve my equalization as much as Pavol has when I did my level 2 with him. Highly recommended 😊

    I don't know if I'm actually doing it right, but would I have to do it multiple times to pop my ears in the beginning? Sometimes only one ear pops. Does it feel like you're swallowing air, pushing it up towards your soft palate, then you're sort of snoring on an exhale?

    • @atlantisfreediving
      @atlantisfreediving  Před rokem

      If you pop your ears once, then mostlikely will not be able to pop them same again, unless there is a change of pressure (like if you descent to depth) it is also normal to have one ear easier to equalise then other. And yes, the movement is similar to swallowing, without actually swallowing. Focus on holding your breath with your glottis closed and moving throat and back of the tongue up, moving little bit of air up and back. It is really hard to talk about this without seeing what you actually do 😅 I hope this helps 🫡

    in valsava, i can feel the click in my ears.
    but when trying frenzel, the pressure is only in my throat? should i feel my ear clicked as well?

    • @atlantisfreediving
      @atlantisfreediving  Před 2 lety

      Hi Diana, you should feel clear equalisation in your ears if done well. You will need to pinch your nose for this to work. 🤞

    sir,
    why when my head is facing down it can't equalize???

    • @atlantisfreediving
      @atlantisfreediving  Před 2 lety

      Yes, it is a common issue, a possible reason would be a closed soft palate. The easiest solution would be to practise your equalisation either hanging off the side of the bed or from the table, slowly changing position from horizontal to head down, if you have access to the pool, you can also try on the side of the pool, feet up on the side, head down under the water, don't forget to have a buddy for any in-water practice ;) hope it helps
