best tutorial for frenzel, i'm getting close to it.
Thank you so much for the feedback, really glad to hear that you like it! :)
Best video I've ever seen! I'm finally building pressure and using frenzel. I was starting to think I'd never get it!
Amazing! I have been trying to figure out the last piece of the frenzel puzzle for weeks. The "N" in the "NG" trick you talked about was it. Thank you so much!
Awesome! Glad to help! 🤘😎
This is so good! Best explanation I've seen. Nnn G part cracked it for me. Thank you 🙂
Awesome, we are happy this helped! 🥰
Very helpfull, thanks for sharing!
This is the best video on this topic. Ive seen tons of videos and thanks to you i can perform frenzel now! Thank you Very much for this!!
That is so helpful - thank you very much indeed. Lots to work on but so well explained - very clear step by step process to this somewhat (in my experience) elusive process. I look forward to watching your other videos in time. Briliant!
Thank you so much! Yes more helpful videos are coming soon! 😇
I made it!!! Finally! Thank you so much :D
Yessss! Well done! Congratulations! 👏

Thank you!
Best explanation and demonstration on frenzel for a newbie freediver like me! Many thanks for your video!
Thank you so much 🥰
Quite interesting, detailed and useful. I will try those exercises step by step. Thanks for sharing!
Good luck! 👌
Best tutorial by far on the subject. I use it for all my intro students as it explains a complicated process in a way that is easy to understand and to become aware of the different steps involved.
Fantastic Hanno! Yes, easy to understand are the key words here 😅
Great video, Pavol! Best instruction video for beginners wanting to learn the Frenzel through online learning 👌🏻 I've trained with a lot of different instructors from a lot of different organizations, but no one has helped me improve my equalization as much as Pavol has when I did my level 2 with him. Highly recommended 😊
Thank you sir! I think having to go through the same struggle was the key to understanding the problems other go through. 🙌
yes thank you very good video
thank you, thank you, thank you. your explanation made it click for me after 2 months of struggling. your "NG" technique made all the difference for me.
Glad it helped you! Have a nice dives!
i’v been struggle on practicing frenzel alot. by watching your video, now i’m making small progress, thank you man.
That's amazing! Thank you! 😊
Thank you so much i've been struggling with frenzel but after this video i could do it almost everytime i tried
That is great! Really happy to hear that! Thank you for the comment!
Thanks you sharing ❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome video.🙌
Thank you 🤗
Best video for Frenzel❤
Thank you 😊🙏
thankyou:)
i've been trying the Frenzel for sometime but never seem to generate enough pressure to equalize. now i realized that the best way to do it is to pronounce the letter qaf for people who speak arabic.
Great video. Thank you. And a great T-shirt as well. Would love to hear where I could get it. ;-)
Thank you very much! T-shirt is great! You can order it and we will send it to you, send us an email :)
Hi Pavel, great tutorial I think. Very explanatory very useful guidelines to explore our mouth-throat anatomy using the sounds you suggest. Thanks a lot !
Hi Jose! Yes, sounds a bit weird but I found this easiest way to understand for my students, most common problem would be glottis open constantly, this can delay learning curve for some :)
This helps a lot. Thank you so much. My problem is that my belly twitches a little bit, even though my glottis is closed during the NG to K sound.
Awesome thank you! Yes, this is normal for many people, you need to practice a bit and you will master it. Good luck! 🍀
The most easy and nice video I found on CZcams explaining the Frenzle in an easy way.
I tried the first exercise (NG) but when I do it with my mouth closed it is really hard.
I also would like to try the one with the ballon but I don't know the name of the tool specially coz I think it would not be available here in Egypt
Thank you
That's great! We believe it doesn't need to be too complicated and it definitely can be 😅 let us know how you progress and for the Otovent you should be able to get it in any freediving centre.
@@atlantisfreediving thank you very much 🙏
thanks interesting video greetings from italy
Thank you, glad you found it interesting:)
@@atlantisfreediving I practice spearfishing and I have difficulty equalizing the ear. despite the numerous surgeries. I am trying to learn new techniques. you are good I hope I succeed by following you to learn the technique
@@mauriziogiasan4411 thank you! I hope those videos will help you a little bit :)
@@atlantisfreediving thanks i hope to understand the technique. thanks again
how do you do all of those exercises if you have a regulator in your mouth? I understand for a free diver. Thanks
Thank you for tips! May i ask, what is the name of that tool?
Awesome! Happy you found them useful! The tool is called "EQ tool" 😅 it is from UBA project. Check them out!
I don't know if I'm actually doing it right, but would I have to do it multiple times to pop my ears in the beginning? Sometimes only one ear pops. Does it feel like you're swallowing air, pushing it up towards your soft palate, then you're sort of snoring on an exhale?
If you pop your ears once, then mostlikely will not be able to pop them same again, unless there is a change of pressure (like if you descent to depth) it is also normal to have one ear easier to equalise then other. And yes, the movement is similar to swallowing, without actually swallowing. Focus on holding your breath with your glottis closed and moving throat and back of the tongue up, moving little bit of air up and back. It is really hard to talk about this without seeing what you actually do 😅 I hope this helps 🫡
in valsava, i can feel the click in my ears.
but when trying frenzel, the pressure is only in my throat? should i feel my ear clicked as well?
i feel my ear clicked in frenzel when im pinching my nose but not when im not pinching
Hi Diana, you should feel clear equalisation in your ears if done well. You will need to pinch your nose for this to work. 🤞
Man i must be dumb because i watched this whole video and i still cant equalize without my chest moving. I do the "k" sound, i feel my ears equalize but my chest moves so i feel like i am doing valsalva. Can you please help me? I need to learn Frenzel i have been trying for months now
I have one more extra question. Where did the pressure graphs come from? App? Available for others?
Hi, pressure graph is an app that comes with UBA equalisation tool. It is free to download I believe, works with UBA tool
quick question if I can equalise with my mouth open does that mean I'm doing frenzel or can you do valsalva with your mouth open aswell thanks
You can do Valsalva with mouth open indeed. Check for chest and belly relaxation, to see if you push with there muscles or they ate relaxed 😌
@@atlantisfreediving i believe i am doing it without any chest or stomach input but I'm not doing anything with my tongue i just don't seem to need to thank you
@@peanutfilms8210yes it is possible that you also do A) proper frenzel, B) you could be doing also Soft palate movement. It would be the best to look inside you mouth as you do it 😂 then we would know for sure 😊
@@atlantisfreediving ok I filmed inside my mouth and it would appear that I can't feel this but the very back of my tongue does go to the roof of my mouth
sir,
why when my head is facing down it can't equalize???
Yes, it is a common issue, a possible reason would be a closed soft palate. The easiest solution would be to practise your equalisation either hanging off the side of the bed or from the table, slowly changing position from horizontal to head down, if you have access to the pool, you can also try on the side of the pool, feet up on the side, head down under the water, don't forget to have a buddy for any in-water practice ;) hope it helps
thank you for the tips sir i will try to practice again..
Sometimes i can do it sometimes i can't equalized i think sometimes i get excited and forget the things i learned. Kind of dangerous.
Practice makes perfect, it takes a while to build a new habit, keep going! 😊
Mine problem, I figure it out, and after 3hours, I forgot :) And again...
