Me, too. I was just about to post a comment and ask what was going on when I got a notification. Yay!
For anyone watching hoping to become pregnant, it is suggested that you start take prenatal vitamins about 3 months before you hope to become pregnant. This makes sure your body is in the healthiest condition for your baby to attach to your uterus and have a healthy start to life. There are some deficiencies that prevent attachment.
It is also suggested your man take a good all around vitamin for men. This makes sure he is producing the healthiest sperm to conceive a baby.
We all want a healthy baby, vitamins are simple way to help ensure this.
Glad most comments are positive but I’m not sure what it is about this channel that people tend to attack her for random things. She never claimed to be “Little House on the Prairie Snob”. She said she is using CZcams to make money and would live in a bigger house if she could afford it but currently is working towards goals. She cuts back on certain material things to be able to stay home and buy quality foods to feed her family. She makes it work in her own way and people come at her for a Red Bull 🤣
Missed your videos. Wish you post more but I understand with life. Your videos are like no other.
Hopefully moving forward, my videos will be posted weekly like my schedule used to be 😃
Keep me and my husband in prayer we’re moving to Texas from Tennessee for job relocation we have 4 kids Im worried about a big move with kids and how life will be with a big adjustment
Praying!
Kids are very resilient,( try and find a club or youth/play group for them), it also teaches them that all members of the family have to make sacrifices for the good of the whole team.
I'm praying for you and your family.
Am praying for both of you to@@TheProductiveHomemaker
From Tennessee to Texas is a perfect move. Great people, just flatter land. You will be fine.
Oh my word!! That’s genius to use the measuring spoon to make the indentation 😃
It’s such a helpful tip!
The indentations in the dry mixture for measuring is a game changer! What a great idea!
It’s so helpful!
So happy you’re back on CZcams! Hope your pregnancy is going well. That tip to make the indent in the dry goods is fantastic. Love your videos
Carrying the clean laundry into my grandson 's room I announced "the laundry fairy is here" he laughs and says "but that's you gan gan" want to remind him that work is required !! Glad to see another of your sweet videos
Haha, you’ve got my sense of humor ☺️ your grandson is lucky to have you!
The sticky ingredient tip is AMAZING! Thank you for sharing. A tip for anyone that might be interested - if recipe calls for butter to be "cut in", you can grate really cold (almost frozen) butter and it simply stirs in evenly.
That’s a great tip!
Pressing the measuring spoons into the dry ingredients is GENIUS! Especially for the honey.
You are just so lovely to listen to and really bring a spirit of peace. Bless you!
Something I have been making a lot is Korean pickled eggs- boiled eggs marinated in soy sauce, sugar, and garlic. It is delicious with just those 3 ingredients, but I also have added ginger, pepper flakes, Korean chili paste, scallions, rice vinegar and sesame oil as I have them available. Thank you for the video
Oh that sounds delicious
Oh my goodness, I never would have thought to do that with the measuring spoon! Excellent tip and thank you for sharing!
You’re so welcome!!
So happy to see you. Been praying for you. Awesome idea for snacks. Given me ideas.
Thank you for your prayers! They mean more than you know ♥️
Always love seeing your videos! 💕 congratulations on your 5th baby! Prayers for a healthy baby and mama!!
Thank you so much!!! And thank you for being here ♥️
Yum, they look like delicious snacks . Thats a fantastic tip when measuring a pouring liquid. Great job. When i have hard boiled eggs in the fridge, i use a marker and put a smiley face on the shell. That way even my youngest knows which ones they are. Lovely to see you , thank you for sharing ❤❤
I have missed you. Glad to see you back.
Ahh that is so cute! I bet my kids would love that!
I love the measuring hack! I'm glad you are back in my line up. I've missed you video's.
Thanks for sticking around! I’m so happy to be back ♥️
Glad to see you back!
I’m SO happy to be back ♥️
Genius hack for measuring honey! I've missed you but want your family and your health to come first, of course. Thank you for the recipes for the treats. Your gentle style of living is so soothing. Yes, learning your body works best when it's rested. I pray you and baby continue to do well. Take care, Linda 🦋
Thank you Linda ♥️ I’ve missed all of you dearly. I hope you are doing well!
I was so excited to see a new video up! Love your tip about measuring sticky ingredients, it's genius!!
Something I thought of when I saw you putting the butter in your shortbread. I have had really tight food budgets over the years, but like you want to use quality ingredients. One summer I grew pumpkins in my garden. I had so many, I tried putting them in everything I could think of. I discovered one day that I could sub out up to 1/2 the butter or oil in most recipes with boiled mashed pumpkin, and it still turned out fine!
I started out like if my recipe called for one cup of butter, I'd put in 3/4 cup butter, and 1/4 mashed pumpkin. Eventually I kept decreasing the butter, & increasing the pumpkin, until I started noticing a texture change and had to stop. It's been a game changer for me!!
Ohh I will have to try that! I’ve still got pumpkins stored from last garden season to use up! Thanks for sharing your tip!
What a great tip, thank you!
Fantastic tip!
My oma, born 1904, taught me how to cook. No recipes, all from scratch at top of your head. Alot of times no measuring either. I totally understand you. Love the ambiance, soft, music, candle, voice...❤😊i would love to have you as a neighbor
Your Oma sounds like a pretty great woman ♥️
Measuring spoon hack is genius! Thank you for the advice.
I hope it helps!
So great to see you back and doing well. Your video was very helpful with ideas. And so enjoyable. God bless you.
Thank you for sticking around! I’m glad you enjoyed it ♥️
So glad to see you again! I love the indentation idea for measuring. Brilliant! Blessings to you and your family ❤
♥️♥️♥️
Wonderful to see you again! Those fruit bars look so good!❤
I love your videos, and I wish you guys great success! When you have time, please keep the videos coming :-) 👍
Thank you so much for the kind words!! ♥️
I am so glad you are back too. I had prayed you were well.
Thank you for the prayers ♥️ I’m glad to be back!
Hi Laramie! Love your soothing voice! Missed you! Love from Minnesota! ❤🙋♀️
I’ve missed seeing you. So glad your well enough to make a new video. Those treats all look fabulous. I use to make protein balls for my kids when they were young and played sports. They loved them.
Thank you for another fantastic video❤
What a great tip with the spoon \flour and no mess measuring. This one i will be passing on. Great video
I’m so glad you enjoyed ♥️
I saw you put your wrappers over to the side. It’s always a good thing when you get done with the butter wrappers to save them in the refrigerator. That way if you ever need to grease up a pan, you can pull one of those out and use them.
Yes!
Yay! So very good to see you again, Laramie!!
It’s good to be back ♥️ I hope you are doing well!!
So happy to see you again Laramie! Was thinking of you yesterday! Hello from A fellow mom pregnant with #5 🤗
Ahh congratulations!! 🎉
I was so pleased to see a new video available last night! I’ve been checking for a new one. 😉 Congratulations on the upcoming family addition! ❤
Thank you ☺️
So glad to see you back! Love your videos! ❤
♥️♥️
That is a heat idea about indenting your flour in your bowl for sticky ingredients. Now to remember it next time I need that hack!
Could you share the recipes you used?
I’ll work on getting those public ♥️
I love having more ideas for homemade snacks. Definitely want to try the crunch bars, they sound delicious. We like doing "tea time" in the afternoon with a sweet snack to prevent hangriness too and these sound like the perfect tea companion. 😊 Love that you already have a sponsored video! Good job👏
That’s so fun!
Current economy? I am considerably older than you (57), and let me tell you there is ALWAYS something going on in the economy. I recall the inflationary period in the late 70s-early 80s when interest rates hit 20% for the purchase of a home. It was brief, about 2 weeks only, but interest rates of 14-15% was pretty much average. I remember gas lines during the OPEC embargo. I recall gasoline being $1.79 when I got my drivers license, and that is equivelent to about $6 in today's dollars. My point is that this is all just life. Obviously, having a large family with a stay at home parent is important to you, so this lifestyle you have cultivated is here to stay. Besides, cooking real food in our own homes with quality ingredients is always best. This is not a criticism, just a kindly-meant observation.
So true. We're same age
I must be older than you. I recall President Nixon’s wage and price freeze to try to slow inflation. And my father thinking 33 cents a gallon was too much to pay for gasoline! Just a couple of years before OPEC formed.
@@cynthia57169 I think you win! Lol! The point is clear, there is just always something going on with "the economy." Today it's inflation, tomorrow...who knows?
@@pinkcrayon1382 true! God bless us, each and every one.
cost of living has skyrocketed beyond what a lot of us can afford while our wages stay stagnant. CEOs rake in billions while the people who live below the poverty line starve. we have grocery items that have increased 50%-100% to rake in more profit. these are hard times for EVERYONE. these are unique circumstances that are crippling generations of people. back in, you could rent for only a 4th of your income. now, many of us are lucky to spend half of our income on rent. for profit renting along with corporations buying up housing, for profit healthcare and insurance becoming more and more expensive while leaving us broke, etc. these are unique circumstances that seem almost insurmountable.
So glad your vlog popped up tonight. I was just settling in for some down time when your channel appeared. I actually let out a sigh of relief knowing that I would be relaxed and entertained after watching your video.
Ah 🥹 I’ve missed you all so much. I’m so glad you are here!
So glad to see you back! I love the tip with making indents in the dry ingredients to measure the wet additions.
♥️♥️
I love these ideas!
I’m glad to hear that!
Your measuring spoon trick is so clever!
🥄😁
I said the same! I have one of each so this is very helpful!
Woohoo! Finally! I missed you lol Hope all is well!
I’ve missed all of you! Its so great to be back ♥️
Welcome back! I thought maybe you got too busy and changed your mind about having your channel. You were gone for over a month so I was happily surprised to see a video. Are you planning to just do 1 a month right now due to the pregnancy? I can't imagine being pregnant with four underfoot. How old are the other four? It seems like your youngest just had a birthday and turned one. Or was that one of the other children? I don't know how you do it. Keeping you in my prayers for patience and energy to keep up with them!
Life has just been very busy! Since this is my hobby, it had to take a back seat until things calmed down a bit ☺️ I plan on getting back to my weekly videos!
I had 6 kids. They are now ages 25-40. God Bless
I am so happy to see your video pop up. I'm glad to see you and the little one doing so well ❤
We are ☺️ thank you so much for being here!
Thank you for your great videos! Do not take critics to heart as criticism is about the critic. Keep being you. God bless.
Thank you ♥️
Another good tip is to crack your egg in the measuring cup and swirling it around, place it in mixing bowl then add peanut butter to the same measuring cup,( it slips right out!)
Love this!
That’s a good idea I’ve never heard before. Thank you
Love the honey tip. Some people also use the measuring spoon/cup for the oil first and then the honey, then the honey just slides out.
Enjoyed this video, thank you! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm so glad you're back! I was praying that all was well with you and your family.
Thank you so much for the prayers! I’ve missed you all ♥️
I'm so happy to see that you are doing well!
was just thinking about you..missed your videos
I’m glad to be back ♥️♥️
I would love your recipes for the snack bars and protein balls! Really enjoy your videos. I'm 65, single, and retired from nursing, but I still appreciate learning how to be more frugal in my home! Blessings.
So glad to see you posting again!
Just use a grater for your butter. No processor required. Grate a cold stick of butter directly into your flour. Minimal effort, gadgets. Youll be able to work it into the mix in seconds.
I'm having a hard time finding where you put the recipe amounts. Where is it, or what are they exactly called so that I can research them.. thanks so much for another great video!
Making a bed and taking a shower feel so good llike a big accomplishment especially for me right now because Im anemic from blood loss. Im going to have a hysterectomy to get rid of Endometrial cancer but let me tell ya. God gives me strength and has stopped my horrible bleeding. I was on meds to stop it but they ran out and I decided to trust the Lord and man Im doing better now than I did when I was on man made meds. I pray the Lord give you the strength you need for every moment of every day. I know he will. Hes so good. Lord bless you. You been on my heart. So glad to hear your doing good. Shalom Aleichem Mishpocha ❤
I pray you have a quick recovery. even when we fall short, he is always enough ♥️
Hope all goes well with your op.🙏
Wishing you healing!
Oh my goodness I love the idea about using your measurements utensils in the batter instead of pouring it into your measuring cups!! I’m going to try this!!
I'm a lot older than you but love the way you cook. I know I've been there before when my kids were little. I'm a widow now and on disability, and live on a strict budget. So doing this really helps out. I wish I could get my CZcams channel growing. I'm not in the best health but I will get there one day. Thanks for sharing!
what is the name of your channel? I will check it out!
@@qq1651 looks like if you click her name, that's her channel
I just hit subscribe 😊
I would love to have the recipe for the crunch bars. Do you have it on your web site?
So lovely to see you again! ❤
Yummy!!!! I missed your content.
So happy you back! Take care of yourself.
I’ve missed you all ♥️
What a fun hack with the measuring spoons! Thanks for sharing!
♥️♥️♥️
That IS a good idea. Never would have thought of that.
Homemade is always best!
❤lifeatthenutthouse
Always!
good to see you back!! great recipes- please tell me the candle is not under a wood cabinet though! (I was raised by a fireman and candles are high on my radar)
It’s not 😄 it’s several inches away from it!
@@TheProductiveHomemaker o thank you!
Lovely to see you back Laramie!!! Hope you are really well xxxx
I am well! And so glad to hear back with you all ♥️
I've always wanted to use a pastry cutter. These look yummy. God bless you and your baby.
So happy for your new life coming soon! Glad to see you back. ❤
I’m glad to be back ♥️
Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you for sharing your insights and what you're currently learning 💜 I'm in a new season where I am the primary caregiver for my family and I'm realizing I have no clue how to be a homemaker. I'm trying to learn how to prioritize tasks and can feel down for not getting more done. But it's encouraging to hear how you started and how you figured out a system with perseverance. 😊💪
Ahh congratulations on your new role! You’ll get it ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for your efforts. I appreciate it.
It’s my pleasure ♥️ thank you for watching!
New here…. Clever on measuring spoon ❤
Welcome!! I’m glad you’re here ☺️
Thanks for sharing the measuring spoon hack! It's brilliant! ♡ Also looking forward to trying those bars. I've got a new baby and freezer snacks are so convenient right now. 😊
Awww congratulations! Babies are the best ♥️♥️♥️
@TheProductiveHomemaker Thanks! They really are. ♡ Soaking up all the newborn snuggles. Excited for you to enjoy that again soon enough! :)
Do you ever post your recipes? They look good but you didn't mention how much of each ingredient you used.
Congratulations 🎉
Thanks for sharing this video! Cool partnership with Ritual. I’m on a ketogenic diet (for medical reasons, not by choice 😂) otherwise I’d make the snack bars. Maybe I’ll make them for my nephews! I hope you have a great day!
Ooff keto is hard!
@@TheProductiveHomemaker I have schizophrenia, so eating a strict (ish) diet is okay with me as long as it puts my symptoms into remission. Keep up the good work with your channel. I love it!
Good to see you back! ❤
I’m so glad to be back ♥️
Are there recipes available?
Thank you for this. Peace and love. ❤
♥️♥️
I would like the recipe please
So glad to see you again.
Thanks for sticking around ♥️♥️ I’m so glad to be back
I was so excited when I saw your notification
Missed you!
Missed seeing your video, congratulations on a new little one. Thank you for the snack ideas and I think I can come close to your measurements.
Wonderful ideas. Glad you’re back! Congratulations on your pregnancy! 😊
Thank you 😁
I want to be your neighbor!🎉
Do you have to pay to get the recipes? How is that helping those on low incomes???
Keep on doing what you are doing! It helps more than you know! I’ll never understand those taking time to post negativity. Praying for you and your growing family! I’ve used so many of your tips! Side note, I also found a vertical candle like yours at Salvation Army and scooped it up. We lose power a lot and this will be super helpful but didn’t know such a thing existed until seeing it on your channel. We also camp as a cheap way vacation and I cook via candlelight at night sometimes so it’ll help there too! Where do you happen to get your bulk salt?
See her links in the video description
What an awesome thrift find! These coil candles are so much fun. I linked my favorite salt in the description ☺️
Yup, Redmond's Real Salt is used by a lot of CZcamsrs. Looks fantastic! 😊
@@cynthia57169 I’m fairly new to you tube and didn’t know how to find it on my phone but I did, thank you!
@@TheProductiveHomemaker thank you!!
Do you have a link to the recipes you use?
Enjoyed your video very much! ❤
I’m so glad to hear that ♥️♥️♥️
The snacks looked so yummy! Congratulations!
Thank you ♥️
Links to recipes?
Ohhh where have you been ❤
Do you use quick oats for your snacks?
I did, yes!
Where can we find these recipes? Ty for sharing
I think you have to pay to join before she gives out recipes. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
Great video!! I have been loving your videos, because us too are on an extreme budget as well. But I would love if you could share some of the measurements that you use (approx). I understand you are using a method for cooking (as I do as well), but I would love to know how much of something so I can try to recreate it. As I'm on a tight budget I am not able to pay for a memebership, etc, to find out recipes. :). Thank you. Keep on sharing. Love how calming your videos are.
I don't understand how you have a " small budget" If you buy things like organic products, whole wheat, and olive oil? I'm low income too and have a family of 6 and it's a struggle to keep my grocery bill at $170 a week. How much do you spend.? Is there something I'm missing?
I spend between $600-700 a month on groceries currently. Purchasing in bulk helps tremendously with buying better ingredients. We also forgo having many options in order to purchase better quality ☺️
Recipes would be handy please.
I feel like her budget is average for a family of 6. I'm low income and my budget is $375/month for 5 people for just food. I do have another $75/month for nonfood items such as medicine, soap, deodorant, toilet paper, ect.
@eileenroberts - I always stock up on butter, eggs, etc at the holidays when they have them on sale. Butter freezes well and will keep for at least 6 months. At Thanksgiving and Christmas the grocery stores will sell a pound of butter for around $2.00. That's compared to about $6.00 a pound in my area. I hope that helps you a little :)
Congratulations on the upcoming angel ❤❤❤
So good to see you back ❤
I’m so glad to be back ♥️
