I think to make penalties less of a guarantee, the defending team should be allowed a player placed in a position near the goal to help clear the ball. It feels like such a waste that some of these amazing stops still count for basically nothing. Maybe a rule that the penalty taker can’t have the next touch? If it deflects off the keeper, it should be a genuine foot race from all the other players to scramble to either clear or tap it in, depending on what team they’re on obviously
I'm guessing he faced more than 2 penalties then? Because that stat gets both more and less impressive the higher and lower the number of penalties he faced is.

Kinda bullshit you get the chance for a rebound aswell with a penalty. The odds of a penalty going in are already at 8 out of 10 or something like that. Should be one kick. If the keeper saves it, too bad.

So he signed him for 1M in the 2000. United struggled to replace Smicheals. He got injured and was loaned out to Watford 2 seasons. Van de sar comes in (his prime). His under 23 this point.
