I’ve never experienced that and I’m around them all the time now. I worked at the PHL airport until last December. I’d see the af1 for trump but most times they don’t even use it with Biden because he lives there. They just take that green plane & two beasts. Saw him flying down the runway one time. They never did that for trump lol. But I just directly behind Kamala last week. There’s a back roadway, the secret service just uses like the 4 black suvs & roll out to Delaware, but when Biden use to comes you’d only know because the state troopers would shut down 95 to Delaware for like an hour with no pre warning lol. They actually stopped him from landing in phl because of that, or they only use the 4 black cars and roll out to deleware undercover. The motorcades are only for planned events. You can see either one of them here Anyday honestly, but they only roll deep for events. For events phl police-de troopers-pa troopers-other city police- county police-sheriffs- swat. If they’re just going to bidens house in de. There’s only like 4-5 secret service cars pushing it down 95. & if Biden is in it they call the troopers from de & pa to shut down all southbound entrances an hour before & after he passes. You’ll usually know he’s coming if you see de troopers driving towards Philly through pa

Great video, I had the opportunity, twice, to drive a car in then Vice President George H.W. Bush's motorcade. At that time I was an intern in a congressional office and they recruited interns to drive. Both times I drove a Ford Taurus which was loaned to us by a local Ford dealer. In my care I had the VP official photographer, an VP administrative staffer, and one secret service agent. We were behind all the other cars mentioned in the video. It was very cool to have the CHP on their motorcycles zipping by blocking traffic for us all. Both times I got to meet the VP and even have a picture with him in my office. It was pretty amazing how much work the secret service put into the motorcade, starting weeks before the visit. There was one point when I wondered over to look at the back of one of the secret service SUV's, I got quickly scolded by one of the agents, but I did see a belt fed M60 machine gun in the back before he caught me. I grateful for the life experience.

Had a coworker at Andrew's who also got slated to drive during 2 different occasions. 1st time he drove one of Bush Sr.'s children through inauguration parade in downtown DC, but don't remember which one it was. Surprised all of us that they didn't have Secret Service drivers for all of the cars associated with the motorcade.
I did manage to upset a couple Secret Service after Bush Sr won and was giving his acceptance speech the next morning. I had been working the night before and went to my on base dorm, which was directly across the street from the hanger of the old #26000 AF1 aircraft, and was still in use at that time. I had to do some tidying up of my room because I knew we were getting inspected later that afternoon. So I stepped outside in my civi's to dump my trash into the large outdoor dumpster designated for mine and another building that we shared a parking lot with. It finally hit me that the speech he was giving, live on TV, was coming from the hanger of AF1. Which was when I also realized there were at least 10 or more Secret Service sitting scattered throughout the parking lot of my dorm building, most of whom were giving me strange looks. So finally one of them asked what I was doing and said I needed to leave the area. At which point, my fatigue must have overcome me. Because I instantly became grumpy and my response was to look him right in the face and say "I'm not leaving! I live here!". Then I turned and walked back into my building, to my room, where my window promptly faced the AF1 hanger, so I turned off the TV opened my window and finished listening to his speech live from across the street, while I did some house cleaning.

Or when they did change things, only slightly, they used the same exact arguments/points . AND it be possible to make videos on similar topics and come up with some similar ideas or points but not word for word! There's nothing wrong with that, per say, but they need to source where they get their info from! Kind of offensive that they don't! Yes, at that time we were the part of the Soviet Union (but as the USSR), although the aircraft was designed in 1980s, which was a remarkable time for our history, simply because the Soviet Union was about to collapse. However, the whole idea and the plane itself belongs to Ukraine and so Russia has no need to claim about it. Also here we have to point out that many of the Soviet civilian/military planes, spaceships were created by Ukrainian scientists (look up for some information about Korolev and other prominent engineers). It is not quite good to say that the aircraft has been created by Russian people just because Ukraine wasn't independent back then. We are different nations with different history, so please be accurate while considering such important information.

There is a lot of incorrect information in this video.
First, you’ve missed the Electronic Countermeasures car. The car you shows at 4:01 is not the EC car, it's the Communication Car with the big, distinctive antenna on top of it. This car positions at the rear of the motorcade as said in the video and keeps the president connected with the outside world, including The Pentagon, and it's not a local vehicle.
The role of the EC car’s role is not to give warnings anyway, it’s the Intelligence Division (I.D) car’s role. The EC car’s role is to prevent any unregistered communication which can potentially detonate bombs remotely.
The role of the I.D car’s role is not to communicate with other units. The I.D car gathers intelligent information and predicts potential incoming threats, then provides the motorcade with safety recommendations and early warnings.

There have been occasions that past preaidents have walked the steets of downtown Wash. D.C. Or made stops at a public place. Ironically, as long as it's a "spontaneous" act, there's a certain amount of built in safety odds because it is something not on the known itinerary.

So almost always she is in an open top carriage. I note that someone has also mentioned that the Dutch Royal family can often be seen on bicycles. I did once see Her Majesty Queen Beatrix cycling in The Hague with just one or two security guys with her.
I suppose this is a case where the various Royal Families of Europe are loved by their people and do not have to hide behind bullet proof glass, whereas the President of America is often hated by his own people..... A lot to be said for a modern constitutional monarchy.....
