    My plow truck is a 6.0 gas. Reliable as all getout. The truck will fall apart long before the engine. I've had every GM V8 and this one is my favorite. Maintenance is easy and if you do it you'll have torque for years. Just one man's opinion. Couldn't kill it if you tried.

      @philliphols Před rokem +2

      My truck will also fall apart around the 6.0. Bought my 2005 in 2018 with only 60k miles on it. With it being older and low mileage, I’m certain it will fall apart while the engine keeps ticking. Currently over 100k miles and purrs. We’ll see, it gives me plenty of headaches but it’s never the engines fault

    I'll have to differ. Ordered from the factory in 2015 2500 HD crew cab w/6.0 fully optioned. Have had nine years. Paid for a five year skin-skin warranty. Maintained excellent maintenance. At 37k, replaced transmission. At 96k, replaced transmission again out of pocket 6800.00. Had to replace transfer case as well separately. Through the years, replaced one AGM battery after another. The dealer can't find what's causing it to drain. Last year started leaking antifreeze fluid. Could never find the leak. This January, dealer replaced the radiator at another 1700.00. Started leaking antifreeze again. Took to dealer this morning. They suspect leakage through head gasket. They will have another mechanic look at it tomorrow. If the head gasket needs to be replaced, that could be another 1-2k in costs. The average life of an engine once the head gasket is replaced is approximately 6k miles. I have paint chipping away on both rear doors running up the edge of the windows. The truck currently only has 128k miles. This truck is anything but professional grade. Pure junk.

      Depends how long you want it if it’s clean rust free well maintained for the right price I would. But I am bias I am on my third one since 05. 2 gassers and a diesel, all went 250k plus and problem free. Here in So Cal plenty of guys will do LS swaps at affordable price. I would if it’s a fair price and you need a good truck. I keep buying them cause I find the at good price know they are reliable like the body style and refuse to pay what new ones cost . I am not paying 75-100k for a damn pickup.

      who the crap is paying you to audit my finances? The truck can make what the land is worth in 2 months. I can make what that truck and that land are worth IN ONE MONTH. I have owned trucks, and land.. and so far the trucks have ALWAYS , made me more profit than the land. The trucks are WHITE OFFS, the land is liability, capital gains. Mind your own businesses it pays more than worrying about mine. The federal government wants people to make money so they can tax it, not to be stalled out in a piece of land that's worthless, taxable and a liability. those lots sold for 3,000 when the economy takes a crap. The truck got me thousands in write offs, the land has NOT appreciate in the year i sold it.. but its still getting TAXED. I isn't worried about $20,000 thats a months salary when your grinding. i use the truck to makes videos that idiots like you watch, the video appreciates with inflation.. the truck rust because its metal. the land has to be mowed.. i didnt have to reply to your video.. but you do have to pay for that tax bill.
