I used to use wet brushes, till my mom got a tangle teezer. Then I went and bought one for myself, and I love it! It doesn't leave my thick/wavy hair as frizzy, even after I dry brush it. The one major difference I notice between the two brushes however, is that the tangle teezer gets my knots out way more effectively and quicker. For me, the wet brush took forever to get out a knot. I also found that I didn't lose as much hair after brushing with the tangle teezer. But this is just from my own personal experience with both. God's blessings to ya girl!
@@MiaPrincess2000 thanks for sharing your experience. I have noticed the same with the knots. When I really need to get my hair detangled after it’s been up in ponytail for a couples days or a bun the tangle teezer seems to be more effective
i’m so happy i watched this ! i’ve been using the wet brush for the last year and recently i’ve been feeling iffy about it. i don’t like how flexible the bristles are and i thought it was just my hair being weird whenever it would snag. now i realize it’s probably the brush not me. i’m going to buy the tangle teezer today. thank you for this review lol
@@AshSetsTrends it was life changing ! i went and bought it the next day i watched this lol. this brush is literally detangling it the way i was hoping. i love how firm the bristles are because my roots get really thick and tangled and the wet brush was not going through my roots at allll. literally was just gliding through the top of my hair lol. sidenote, did notice i have to be super careful with the tangle teezer because of how sharp the teeth are and it can get caught in my hair if i rush lol. but i don’t mind cause it just means i gotta take my time 😅
@@soraya2327 yeah this brush helps a lot when it comes to the curls bunching or being tangled. Yeah take your time for sure during the detangling process and find a good deep conditioner that works well while you detangle so after your done your hair is silky smooth. 😊 Glad it’s worked well for you.
You should try using the wet brush vertically. That’s the only way that I’m able to detangle without my ends being caught on the bulbs. Maybe that might work for you.
