I only have wavy/curly hair but I swear by a wet brush (the ones for wet hair). I use one dry before hitting the wash, and keep it for that purpose because it catches a lot of lint (from styling products) and so I can't use that on clean hair! I have one especially for when my hair comes out the microfiber towel and it's such a big difference. It doesn't tug or pull at my scalp and detangles with ease. It is *superior* to my wide tooth comb, that did still tug and pull if I didn't use the right type of conditioner. Now I can use whatever I want and the brush will just glide through. Such a great feeling, and such an improvement for me!

Omg tysm for this. I 3b/c hair, almost identical to yours but over the last year it’s been shedding like crazy in the shower. I use to have rlly thick hair now it’s so thin almost like a small child’s head. And I don’t know what to do. The split in my hair is also widening a lot. I think all of this happened because I haven’t been taken care of it lately, I would just put it in a tight hair tie until it’s time for me to wash it next. I will definitely try out some of these brushes and combs. Ty again!

Im so glad I was able to me helpful! I’m so sorry to hear about your hair thinning! It could be caused by the hairstyle you mentioned and also stress among other factors. Try to give your hair some TLC and some protein treatments to get the strength back. With consistency and patience your hair will bounce back 🤍

Awesome yes! I’m going to try the flexy brush. Do you think it can be used without a wide tooth comb because the bristles are pretty spread out? I’ve heard the wider bristles and combs are healthier for curlier hair. I love my tangle teezer but I’m curious to see how the wider toothed flexy works on its own. I’m also going to try that wave tooth comb on its own 🤞

Also have you tried the Denman D38 brush? If so I’m curious what you think of it vs the flexy brush.

Hi lovely! You can definitely use a comb in combination with the brush, it makes detangling even faster

Hey Katherine. I apologize, this has nothing to do with curly hair. But I was wondering what do you do as far as skin care routine? What products do you use?

No need to apologize! I have an updated skincare routine coming soon! I have sensitive combo skin but I’ll explain more in the video so look out for that 💕💕

Tangle teaser doesn't work for my long, bleach blonde, 2C/3A/3B hair. It's worse than the wet brush. I'm trying the curl keeper flexy brush but honestly none of these brushes work for me. They all pull mass amounts of hair out, leave me in tears from the pain and the tangle teaser actually damaged my hair and gave me all new knots along with ripping chunks of hair out. It was the worst of the brushes and it hurt so bad! Can't wait for flexy brush to arrive. I need to detangle and had hoped to be using the curl keeper brush but alas delivery is slow today. The combs look interesting. Mind you I never thought a comb could work for me but a wide toothed comb might be the answer if this next brush doesn't pan out. Doesn't help that I have extremely thick hair. Detangling usually means a full bathroom trash can of pulled/ripped out hair and I'm sick of it. I've used Olaplex to fix the damage and it's soft finally and not so fried that my natural ringlets are pretty but dang brushing wet hair that is curly is just so painful. Maybe I'm extra sensitive or something because I'm usually crying while detangling. I'd pay a thousand dollars for something that works and doesn't end with trash can full of hair and me in tears and that takes hours.

Update...curl keeper flexi brush WORKS! Cut the time down drastically for detangling and I only lost a handful of hair instead of several handfuls. It didn't hurt like it usually does either!

Hello, I have type 2 hair, which brush do you recommend? I want more definition, I have the denman but I would like to try another, I am between the tangler tezzer wet or the flexi brush curl keeper, if you could help me I would appreciate it, blessings.

Hi lovely! I would suggest the tangle teezer! You can twist your hair along the handle and create ringlets 💕✨

I have type 2c hair and the Tangle Teezer rips chunks out. The wet brush doesn't. But neither are powerful enough to work well to detangle. What am I doing wrong? Thx
