Katelyn Tuohy Withdrawal Syndrome, to coin a phrase, or a similar disability. Get us thinking about the future. Also, I'm glad Bethany Michalak made your list. Laurie Henes doesn't make mistakes recruiting for the Wolfpack. In fact, Bethany committed to State last year, as a junior. She was a close second at NXN this year and was third last year. I hope once the rosters stabilize later this winter or in spring you will devote a few videos to your thoughtful evaluation and speculation about the '24 D1 cross podium first string contenders. With NC State potentially lining up Bethany Michalak, Fiona Smith (grad transfer from College of St Benedict and DIII XC champ with a time that would have placed her around 25th in the DI race), Leah Stephens, Angelina Napoleon, Kate Putman, Hannah Gapes, Grace Hartman, Brooke Rauber (if healthy) and others, it's hard not to go to sleep with visions of a four-peat dancing in our heads. If they can find a top-10, true low stick, they could come out on top again. I'm sure fans of the other Big Dogs are thinking the same thing. Anyhow, Happy New Year, and keep up the good work!

There's a crazy amount of NCAA female sprint talent this new season like JaMeesia Ford, Shawnti Jackson, Jacious Sears, McKenzie Long, Jadyn Mays, Kaila Jackson, Autumn Wilson, Aaliyah Butler etc. Gonna be a crazy season for sure 🔥
You didn't name alot of the BEST which are VICTORIA CAMERON, ARIA PEARCE, KENNEDY SMITH AND SO ON❤🙂😎 Victoria Cameron got as close to Shaccari Richardsons 100 meter time as you can get and Victoria Cameron did this at a YOUNGER AGE THAN Shacarri SHACRAPPI Richardson❤🙂😎 Victoria Cameron and others do not get the attention they deserve because they are WHITE😡
MBP doesn't have your typical sprinters build. When I saw her run 22.43 not going to lie I was shocked. She is faster than I ever was in HS. We need to see if she is an early peaker that doesn't get much faster or is somebody that run sub 22.
I have not reviewed the women’s list yet but on the boys list I am a little surprised not to see Drew Griffith, from Butler PA Notre Dame commit listed. He just won the cross-country footlocker national champion beating some of the other people who are on your list. As a junior, he came in 6th at New Balance nationals in the 3000 and the 2-mile run, 11th in the 1 mile, and 12th in the 1500.
At the end of his jr year he rated as an 80 overall 4 star recruit. So just outside the top 300 in the nation. That said the official reranking is at the end of the 2024 outdoor season and he could move up. XC accomplishments aren’t factored in unfortunately for the track and field list.
Can’t wait to see what Mia does this year. She’s already faster over 60m. Definitely going to go sub-11. Can she get Shawnti’s 100m record? How close can she get to Allyson’s altitude 200m record? Going to be fun to watch.
As an Arkansan, I'm shocked that the #1 women's T&F team in the country didn't get one of these young ladies. I'm not sure what it is though. UofA has one of the top training and performance facilities in the world. And, of course, the #1 ranking.
The real reason is likely because Arkansas recruits so heavily at the international level. The only American athletes they will entertain are likely the absolute best. If they miss out on a very top level recruit, they will just find someone almost as good if not better from another nation to recruit.
@@SCATrackandField Honestly, I believe Arkansas has a different way of doing things. While they sometimes get them, I don't think they go after the top-tier athletes. I think they recruit for points (conference/NCAA meet points)... not necessarily first place, but maybe second, third and fifth? Growing up in Arkansas, our small-town coaches were masters at placing us for optimal points (My Sr year, I participated in eight events). That, and/or they load events (i.e. men's long jumpers or women's pole vaulters) with athletes. Maybe that's why they don't get these top-tier folks. But it doesn't seem to keep them from being in the top ten consistently. All said, this was just an observation I made as I watched the video... that none went to UofA.

The next abby Steiner is this girl from ab Steiner's home town, who signed with Kentucky, has the weird arm swing like abby and has the same body type as abby.. imma have to question abby's father on this one..

MBP is a large girl amazing she can run so fast not built like a cheetah but like a lion.
Her running bio-mechanics are so perfect. Everything is moving straight forward or backward, nothing sideways or twisting. And she’s strong.

For track looking at the top performers seems like a pretty easy and fair way to do it.
