I think the weirdest "The Narrator can be heard by the people in the show" is when Wordgirl asks him to tell her where The Butcher is hiding, and he tells her no, then as he goes to set up the next scene with The Butcher, Wordgirl literally pushes back the wipe so she can get a look at where The Butcher is hiding.

“All kids shows should aim to be able to keep adults entertained.” Is a great rule kids writers should live by. For starters, parents will have to deal with the show just as much as the child, so making it bearable for them should be a must. Secondly, children aren’t stupid. They deserve witty writing even if some of it goes over their head. We need to stop treating kids like they’re dumb tiny humans who just like bright colours and shapes, because even at aged 3-4, that not true. They can understand jokes and basic speaking, which means they deserve witty, good writing :).

What I love the most is how WordGirl is technically friends with the villains. Sure, they sometimes do try to destroy when the chance strikes, but more often than not they have casual conversations and even hang out as though they're friends. Some more so than others of course. The biggest example is of course near the end of the Miss Power movie. The villains are cheering for WordGirl when she gains the upper hand, and later express gratitude that she's their arch nemesis. It's very sweet.

Reasons why Dr. Two-Brains is the man of my dreams:
    1. Is tall and has a good figure
    2. Has white, bushy hair
    3. Is Bi/Pan, meaning he has taste and supports pride
    4. Is a great brother/uncle figure to Wordgirl and nice, disciplinary father figure to his two henchmen, Charlie and Unnamed Henchman
    5. Is both analytically intelligent and artistically intelligent. He has a PhD and MFA. He is both a gifted scientist and a charming performer as seen in the episodes with the barbershop quartet contest and disco dance-off
    6. Is very eloquent with words and even wrote an inspirational book
    7. Has good taste in food and can prepare things like grilled cheese, fruit smoothies, and coffee cake, as seen in the pilot series.
    8. Is pretty sanitary when Squeaky isn’t taking advantage of him (mice are actually very hygienic creatures when healthy)
    9. Has fine fashion senses and pretty much dresses like I do
    10. Probably gives wonderful hugs
    Problems:
    1. Is scared of cats
    2. Nearly tried to kill WordGirl, a 10 year-old, multiple times (Tobey had to stop him in the Mousezilla episode
    3. Has little control and discipline over his appetite, as seen in the episode with the cheese magnet and apple farm
    4. Is rude to his henchmen, as well as other people on occasion
    5. Only uses his wisdom and intelligence to help himself rather than others
    6. Likes bragging
    7. Worked with and trusted Mr. Big once, who is basically cartoon Donald Trump
    8. Likes cheating
    9. Would probably be in jail too much
    10. Is literally Satan when Squeaky takes full control over his mind.

Dr. Two-Brains even though he steals cheese is still a villain that you wouldn’t want to mess with. When Squeaky took full control in the episode “Mouse-Brain Takeover” he became Dr. Squeaky-Brains who was more unstable and evil to the point where he almost turned Wordgirl into goop basically killing her. His henchmen didn’t like the new change since Dr. Squeaky-Brains was harsh only referring to them as humans not henchmen and wouldn’t even talk to them normally only “NOT YOUR CHEESE! MY CHEESE! GET YOUR OWN CHEESE HUMANS.” Also, in the episode “Of Two-Minds” Dr. Two-Brains finds an asteroid made out of cheese a “cheeseteroid” if you will with his telescope decides to fuse his cheeseseizer device with it to draw in the cheeseteroid to the city not having the thought to reverse it considering that it would take half the city out. Wordgirl even says to him what’s it gonna be the cheeseteroid or the city, Two-Brains brushes it off not caring saying there will always be other cities with buildings. In a similar episode “Hello New Years, Goodbye Moon” he turns the moon into cheese doing the same thing of extracting it down to earth but this times it’s a full on planet sized star coming down. Dr. Two-Brains takes “stealing and pillaging cheese” to a whole new level with
his morals being thrown of the window the man is willing to commit murder of a child and genocide to please his sociopathic mouse-brain in the name of “cheese” of all things instead of money or power. Not to mention that his superior intellect is fascinating yet scary and daunting in the episode “Timeout with Two-Brains” he built an invention called the “Time-Stopping Ray” which was untested and he used it to freeze the fabric of time of the people on earth including the Narrator himself he froze a literal god who tells the story from the script even he was caught in the blast while Two-Brains and his henchmen were safe in a protective sphere so that he can eat his cheese without worrying about the expiration date which is just insane. In the end I do feel like he deserves to be the number one villain just for how complicated and crazy his evil schemes reaching at apocalyptic level. Overall, I’m honestly so happy that Wordgirl is getting the recognition it deserves. This was a wonderful analysis of the show and it’s world-building characters you knocked it outta the park!

The hints in Violet were reeallly subtle to why she reacted that way in the finale. I think she is somewhat annoying honestly, but the reason she acts that way in the finale is a lot more deeper which you can actually see throughout the show.
Becky sometimes has to leave Violet to go fight crime as WordGirl, so she always comes up with an excuse. Violet is actually HESITANT, with usually something like an "Oh, ok." She's always a tad disheartened whenever Becky has to leave, and then she probably figured out why she ACTUALLY had to leave her in the finale.
Also, the episode where Violet thought she was a superhero, she immediately told Becky instead of anybody else. Becky was the only person she told the secret to, and she trusted her specifically for something that big. The parallels from that episode to the finale are pretty noticeable honestly.
And I think it's because Violet already knew Becky was Wordgirl when she first took the photos, and then gave her a chance to explain herself. After she repeatedly denied over and over again that she was, I guess that's why she guessed that they never were really friends to begin with. In all honestly, I probably would react the same way. But at the same time, I understand how important Becky's job is and how important it is to keep it a secret, so I felt extremely bad for her too.
The difference between Violet and Scoops finding out is that Scoops found out spontaneously, with Becky saving him in the process. Becky explained to him properly on WHY she had to keep it a secret, and they had not too many problems. VIOLET, on the other hand, had to find out by herself and NOT with Becky revealing it TO her. While Becky was forced to tell the immediate truth with Scoops, she repeatedly lied to Violet. Plus, Becky is closer to Violet than Scoops.
Oh well, I totally do understand why Violet is somewhat of a dislikable character, but she has some positive traits too.

They stopped him after he tried to steal Wordgirl's powers and wrapped it up like any other villain defeat, but I mostly just felt bad. At first the bro acted like he didn't care about the whole "being the best" thing the way his sister does, but it's obvious neither of these kids can mentally handle the idea of someone else out-doing them at something.

Okay word girl has stood in my mind as having the BEST joke I’ve ever seen in a kids show. It’s stuck with me since I was a young child. Here it is:
After some long episode and battle where Becky fights to get a copy of this book she wants, she ends up succeeding. The last scene of the episode is her sitting down in her room with the monkey to read it and she just… reads it in 2 seconds. The monkey is annoyed so she gives him the book and leaves and he just puts on a pair of reading glasses and starts reading at a normal pace.
Idk why but this was the funniest thing to me as a kid and I still think it’s hilarious in retrospect LOL. They spend so long fighting a villain to get this book and they finally make it home and Becky just… flies through it. And the monkey is like “we fought for THIS TWO SECOND MOMENT?!”
