The Coolest Town In NEW ZEALAND | Whitianga | Coromandel Peninsula

- Whitianga or Whiti City as the locals call it is the gateway to our favourite beach in New Zealand.
Cathedral Cove is a must visit while you are on the coromandel peninsula. Just down the road from Cathedral Cove you will also find another attraction the Coromandel is famous for and that is Hot Water Beach or Hottie as the locals would say.

I grew up in Whitianga, left town when i was 18. Such a great place to live. All is well over here. Where are you based these days?

Whitianga, Thames is about 1 hour 15 away and there is nothing good in Thames
