Let's see who wins the bet even though they didn't bet in the beginning! Kind of makes it a little more fun at work.
What makes a boat "eco", is a good marketing strategy. 😆
You got that right! 🤩
When in worked for an environmental response/ cleanup company we used a product called Micro Blaze. Naturally occurring microbial that consumes hydrocarbons basically. All it needs is hydrocarbon, water, air and it will clean it right up and leaves a fresh smell behind
Hmm how can I maybe get some?
Punch Bug!!! Priceless!!!❤ The newer versions don’t count!!! Only original ones!!
I’ll take any bug cause it gives me permission to beat on Matt 🤣🤣 you’ll see soon!
We called it Slug Bug..not punch bug growing up!!😂😂😂
We’ve been doing some slugging over here 🤣
Replace the tank and fill and vent lines
We will see what the owner decides!
Hi Matt, We were one of your early customers the BelllaDonna at KWYC. You always took good care of us. Regards Bob Harvey. Like your channel !!!!
Yes thanks for watching Bob! Appreciate your kind words as you know we try! It’s been a bit since you sold her 😊
Had my SeaRay 400SB in dry dock last week. Changed the bow thruster blade from 3 blade to 6 with cupped blades. It’s so quiet you can’t hear it and the performance of the thruster is 70% better. Also adjusted the rudder actuators and autopilot. ready for summer
Was that after market? I’d like more info on what u did.
@@WillFixThat I’ll call my mechanic and get the info. It was a Vetus thruster, they ordered the replacement blade from them. Don’t know if it was new design or what.
Have you guys ever noticed that the oil in 4 stroke engines seems to be more runny than when you put it in, even after just 40hrs?
Matt says maybe test it for fuel.
@@WillFixThat That's what I thought. Thanks
Hello from Siesta Key Florida
Some rain would be nice.
Agree with you and less wind 🤣
WOW I Worked in fuel & Water delivery and the tanks were stainless if we ever put fuel in a tanker it could never be used for water. At least not for drinking. Your videos are amazing!
Thank you Beer4Me you’re probably right about the water tank!
I like the house boat,,, very nice…
Yeah in a up coming video we walk around the brown house boat. 👍
I love the tours and looking at cool boats
Yes tours can be cool to learn cool stuff!
I have a bucket hat also for the sun
We have a couple of them 😊
EPA was breathing down our necks in the oilfield (I assume key west is similar) we used extreme solvents like condensate or benzine that would attach and turn any liquid oil into a quickly evaporating mixture and poof, it was gone. Probably took a lot of years off our lives but we always left the site "looking and smelling" clean. I would have drained all the water down pumped 10 gallons of diesel into it, It would bond with the gasoline, then flush it out. Its hard to smell a few ounces of diesel but a few ounces of gasoline will reek for ages.
Matt and Karry Ann try pure orange juice concentrate in the water tank. Put the orange juice in then fill tank with fresh water and soak for day or two. Just a suggestion. Good luck.
How much OJ do you use?
Just a wild guess. Start with five tubes of orange juice concentrate from a grocery store. It just depends what is less expensive in that day, full gallons of orange juice or the concentrate from frozen foods section.
@@user-gx4zt7ut5nunderstood thanks 👍
I would use a gallon of odor ban. And leave it for a couple of days and then flush the tank thoroughly. The plastic tank has absorbed the odor of the fuel. It’s probably in the water pumps the faucets and everywhere😳
Gas never went past the tank… they realized the mistake so water didn’t reach their faucets & pumps.
Yup, the plastic absorbs the fuel. Awful.
@@maddierosemusicyes your right … we will see when the owner returns 🥴 he can decide what’s next.
They put fuel in the water tank. 🤘😂
Yes unfortunately
Name a marina that does a great job of cleaning a steel hull boat on the east coast
Have no idea sorry!
It would be hard to trust the water coming out of a tank that had fuel in it. What an unfortunate mistake the owner made.
Yup mistakes happen it wasn’t actually the owner that made the mistake!
I don't think the "boat is eco" I think they mean eco system tours.
Like someone already said… is it just for marketing?
👍👍
Hey fatcat! 👍
Cut the deck open and remove the FW tank.
Yeah we are trying to avoid that if we can …. The owner will let us know soon if our flushing didn’t work?
Aweosme.
Thanks 👍
Eco tours, the boats aren't Eco
You said it!
Sweet or un-sweet Tea ?
Only unsweetened cause he’s already too sweet 🤣
😮
Yup he won!
Eco tours not eco efficient
Yes that’s the thought …
Your getting wet , just remember it’s only water. Lol
Yup and most of the time if feels amazing!
