      Haha, I still feel like I waffle too much. I was really surprised when this video came out at just over 11 minutes. I usually can't keep them under 15 :P

    Is there a texture tutorial as well?

      I have a few tutorials that talk about texturing. It depends what you’re hoping to learn, but this one is texturing specifically for Lapras:

    Hello, What addon is this pie menu in 2:11?

    • @JamieDunbar
      @JamieDunbar  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey David. That's called "Interface:3D viewport pie menus".
      It comes default with Blender and has about 15 or so different pie menus you can choose to turn on or not.

    Does the normals maps baked from this method work in unreal? Cuz I I baked normal maps using blender before and when I imported it into unreal there are a lot of seams and weird shading appeared even though it looks fine in blender. Is this due to my uvs being mirror when baking? Plz help

      Hey Justin. I'm not familiar enough with Unreal to be sure, but there's a few things it could be.
      Firstly, yes there's a good chance mirrored UVs could be causing a problem. Make a backup copy of your scene, quickly redo your UVs and rebake. If those seems disappear, that's your issue and you can always come back and do a better job of the UVs.
      There's also a couple of different ways to bake normal maps and I don't know which version Unreal uses. Check out this article by CGCookie. Jump down to section 3)Types of Normal maps.
