G'day Daniel, great to see your Father assisting you. Buenos Dias Papa. Does your Father have ambitions to visit Siberia at all?. Been awol for a bit, health issues mate. All good now, playing catch up. What a lovely town. We used to have high ceilings in Australia as well, it was to combat the heat. Hello Daniel. Thanks for the tour of Mexico. The Pacific Ocean is beautiful! In the movie "The Shawshank Redemption" the main character says that "in Mexico they say that the Pacific Ocean has no memory." This is true? Is that what they say about the Pacific Ocean in Mexico?

Maybe I could find that in Mexico?

13:25 Ah, this cutiest old lady! She looks literaly like my granny: the pretty hat and the outfit in general and even the way she crossed herself before leaving home (I guess she prayed for a blessing for the whole day and her walk). Thank you, Daniel, for this video it was pretty informative! It seems like you're worried about America's films paint Mexico and it's people in a negative light. But here in Russia this country is associated primarily with mariachi, the Aztec and the Maya civilizations, Frida Kahlo, El Dia de Muertos and, of course, a tequila.😁 Mexico and Russia have a lot in common (and I'm not talking about Trotsky and communism😆). A fascinating history, rich culture and exquisite natural heritage... And despite all the difficulties, our nations are able to find the strength to go on and to continue wanting to live and dream.
Explain us why do you love Baikal. I thought you are from some american desert or mexican like in Afghanistan. It appears to be you are ocean-boy in Mexico and in LA as well.
Actually wavy ceiling you got made it's way from XIX century architecture of Europe, before reinforced concrete became available. In Russia it called своды Монье. Sad, nobody uses It in Russia nowadays, just in pre 1920s buildings.
I appreciate your comment about that annoying yellowish, rusty filter in Hollywood movies whenever Mexico, Middle East and southern Europe is portrayed. All those countries and regions are full of vibrant colors besides yellow and red. Great video as always, you’re really good and reporting and presenting things in your vlogs. Keep doing what you’re doing! But i wish Ksenia could experience Mexico with instead of freezing in Siberia😅
I'm Native to México City. My fiancé is from Siberia, moved to Saint Petersburg. Because of the war now she's with me in México City. She is loving it. And much Safer here. And I add she's working now too. 😉🤟

OK Dan@@Wild-Siberia. I'll teach You may 'specialized ice fishing' with the *semi-circle technique' requiring circa 75-100 meters; i.e. gettin' some big fish. Good Health & Cheer from Mälardalen Sweden :)))
There is one thing I noticed about people who happen to feel unsafe in a place. They sure as heck are not people persons. And most of the time, they are very dependent on others. While the rest of us self starters can go anywhere in the world and be just fine no matter where we land at. Maybe its just the military mindset or just the personality type. I'll put it this way. If you lived in the USA and be successful here? You can make it anywhere if you put your mind to it. For those of you in the USA? TAKE A TRIP TO MEXICO! Even consider having a vacation down there in the winter if you can. I know its hard believe, but its cheaper then Russia in many ways. And its only going to get better as more people from around the world make mexico a home base and a vacation destination.
I will have to build my own house in Russia if there is still land for Sale! Something like this I’d have to check it changes sorry I don’t have an estimate now
Fun Fact: I came to USA from Russia 5 years old. Went to ESL in Texas, so now I speak Spanish better than my native Russian! (All classmates were from Latin America. El Salvador, Mexico, Colombia...)
Love Mexico!!! First time when I came to Mexico I fell in love with the country. Honestly, I saw resemblance to Russia right away. I am Russian currently living in the US. Last year I took my two sons to Mexico for vacation and they traveled all way from Russia to Mexico. That was the best vacation in my love-to meet my family and spend couple weeks in Mexico. So, you are mistaken when say no Russians coming to Mexico:) I know few people from Russia who traveled to Mexico. Thank you for your videos ❤❤❤❤❤
A practical question Believe it or not I met a Russian girl right now online... And now we're making tentative plans to meet . I would like to go visit her but the only practical thing that deters me is how do I pay for a hotel, since I can't use my credit card a Google pay? Is it only cash? Is there any platform where I can make a reservation for a hotel in Russia? Are only in the hotel websites directly? Booking doesn't give results because of the sanctions
Wonderful video! It is a very beautiful city! Your family has good taste, they have built a beautiful house. One thing I don't understand is why do Mexicans still go to the USA?
I would be interested in visiting Mexico and trying its cuisine. But it's just expensive for me to go there. For the same money, you can fly to the Crimea and have a good rest there. Maybe in the future when the plane ticket will be cheaper.
12:00 Ahaha... yes, there is something similar to Russia... It’s like I already know these people :D Even the woman who cooks a Mexican dish... It’s like our women from the tents who cooked shawarma) Everything looks so simple and familiar)) 12:57 haha... in Mexico they even do such nonsense... they paint trees with white paint... and in Russia too xD 13:14 We still do this) 15:39 Dan, this is very similar to how Chebureks are prepared)) Mexico is not luxurious, but its simplicity attracts... probably this is one of the countries across the ocean that is so close in terms of inner feelings)
Hi Dan! Mexico looks different, when I know it’s safe 😊What do you think, could I drive through Mexico from Canada alone with children and chihuahua? I’m Russian 🇷🇺, dream about Mexico a long time and love travel by car. If not, ok, but maybe 🙏
Regarding the cartels
As somebody who lived for half a year in Mexico, I 100% approve that message of yours
The cartels are not necessarily honorable, but are more like savvy businessmen who are practical and prioritize well
It's absolutely 100% not in the cartel's interest wasting time On kidnapping or extorting American or Western expats, for a variety of reasons
first, the local population makes a living off of them
Nothing is more important for the cartel to have the local population cooperate with them in the areas they control - They terrorize them on the one hand but on the other hand there's also carrot that they bring stability in law and order And allow them to make a living Off things like tourism or expats living among them
The second reason is self-preservation - If American or Western tourists or expats would really be kidnapped or murdered en Mass- you're gonna have the whole weight of both the Mexican and US Federal governments and the FBI, CIA and US and Mexican militaries hot on their asses
The Mexican government and army do raids on cartel areas every day, And even the US air force itself would bomb cartel areas in Mexico
Just like a year ago when four American tourists were killed near the border, and then you had congressmen openly talking about bombing cartel areas in Mexico.... The next thing you know? the cartels extradited the murderers
And third, is a Financial cost-benefit analysis - The cartel is in the business of drug trade of hundreds of billions of dollars a year, not wasting time on kidnapping little Americans to extort them for a few hundreds of thousands of dollars
It's ironic but Western tourists and expats will be in danger when the cartel actually collapses in a certain area,...that is when small-time criminal gangs fill in the vacuum and there is chaos on the streets And they try to make a short-term profit by kidnapping and extorting tourists and expats
In this sense, the cartels are like Pax Romana- the larger on more powerful they are, the more stability they bring, for their own naked self interest - And in fact, they're almost like a shadow government that brings real law and order to their regions
Oh my god this was point blank absolutely accurate especially the part where the things may get actually unsafe for tourist without some cartels unreal comment 🙏🏻
A lot of societies don't pay much attention to streets and roads. It's just not a high priority. As for the layouts of the homes it's a style that goes back to prehistory. Before the Aztecs.

But here in Russia this country is associated primarily with mariachi, the Aztec and the Maya civilizations, Frida Kahlo, El Dia de Muertos and, of course, a tequila.😁
Mexico and Russia have a lot in common (and I'm not talking about Trotsky and communism😆). A fascinating history, rich culture and exquisite natural heritage... And despite all the difficulties, our nations are able to find the strength to go on and to continue wanting to live and dream.
Dan, you told about free water in Slyudanka as a unprecedented miracle.
So, show as thirsty locals living under the law "no money - no water!"
Explain us why do you love Baikal. I thought you are from some american desert or mexican like in Afghanistan. It appears to be you are ocean-boy in Mexico and in LA as well.
I am from the mountains behind this beach town my friend. Mexico is not all desert we have everything
watching from cold usa state of Virginia, I was born and raised in Mexico until 9 years old when I was brought to USA
🫡 I am so happy that you were transported to the town! Thanks a lot for
Taking the time to watch my friend it means a lot.
Actually wavy ceiling you got made it's way from XIX century architecture of Europe, before reinforced concrete became available.
In Russia it called своды Монье. Sad, nobody uses It in Russia nowadays, just in pre 1920s buildings.
very peaceful - apart from those darn chooks! ))
What a woman roasts is very similar to Crimean chebureks. They are eaten with meat and other fillings. They have a very thin crispy, layered dough.
Perhaps you’ll see that soon
15:32 When you say quesadilla .. are the LL's silent? Thats how it sounds when I i hear people say it.
Yes the LL is actually a letter in the Spanish language.
I'm Native to México City. My fiancé is from Siberia, moved to Saint Petersburg. Because of the war now she's with me in México City. She is loving it. And much Safer here. And I add she's working now too. 😉🤟

I found the word for what the Aztecs called their larger homesteads for families ect. Calpulli.
🙏🏻
Pottery is also popular in the south.
Haven’t seen new videos from you. Hope you are alright. Wishing you well
Soon my friend thanks for the comment

Im working on making a video soon, I’ve been in Mexico dealing with surgery and paper work
Greetings from Flagstaff 👍Dan I couldn’t find your town on the map. Please point me in the right direction.

OK Dan@@Wild-Siberia. I'll teach You may 'specialized ice fishing' with the *semi-circle technique' requiring circa 75-100 meters; i.e. gettin' some big fish. Good Health & Cheer from Mälardalen Sweden :)))
Thank you! What town it is and what state? May be I miss that name...
Lo De Marcos
The state is Jalisco and the town name is given by previous comment
Just started the video, I can listen closely a LP mobile advertising gas seller, typical of "Mexican colonias" 😅
😅 oooooo
How warm is the ocean water? How many degrees is it?
Love Mexico con todo mi corazón! Saludos from Russia)
🇷🇺❤️🇲🇽
And its only going to get better as more people from around the world make mexico a home base and a vacation destination.
very well said thanks for this comment!
Dan, how much does a property like this cost? And where can you look at the prices?
Will you build a house with your own hands in Russia?)
I will have to build my own house in Russia if there is still land for
Sale!
Yea that’s the truth that’s how it works people don’t believe it 🤣🙏🏻
Love Mexico!!!
A practical question
Believe it or not I met a Russian girl right now online... And now we're making tentative plans to meet
Hope your doing ok man hope you can get home soon
This is a beach in Crimea in a small town.
I wanna rewatch Revenge with Anthony Quinn and Kevin Costner
Wonderful video! It is a very beautiful city! Your family has good taste, they have built a beautiful house. One thing I don't understand is why do Mexicans still go to the USA?
You Mexicans? Girlfriend I was born in America, you must not be American 🤣 you have no idea what America is about.
I would be interested in visiting Mexico and trying its cuisine. But it's just expensive for me to go there. For the same money, you can fly to the Crimea and have a good rest there. Maybe in the future when the plane ticket will be cheaper.

Thanks a lot my friend!
12:00 Ahaha... yes, there is something similar to Russia... It’s like I already know these people :D
Even the woman who cooks a Mexican dish... It’s like our women from the tents who cooked shawarma)
Everything looks so simple and familiar))
12:57 haha... in Mexico they even do such nonsense... they paint trees with white paint... and in Russia too xD
13:14 We still do this)
15:39 Dan, this is very similar to how Chebureks are prepared))
Mexico is not luxurious, but its simplicity attracts... probably this is one of the countries across the ocean that is so close in terms of inner feelings)
Hi Dan! Mexico looks different, when I know it’s safe 😊What do you think, could I drive through Mexico from Canada alone with children and chihuahua? I’m Russian 🇷🇺, dream about Mexico a long time and love travel by car. If not, ok, but maybe 🙏
Very nice video. Not sure who thinks Mexico is unsafe or bad maybe in N.A.? In Europe I never heard anyone mudtalking about mexico
What's under the domes? Just room i.e. living room or stairway hall?
