We Love The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad With #482 & K-28 #478 & #473 & #476 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️
The Durango and Silverton is my most favorite narrow gauge railroad in the United States.
00:01:57 I ❤️ that 5 chime steam whistle!!
D&S always put on a great show. Whether it’s their regular tourist trains or photo charters. And I of course loved it even more when I visited it in the summer of 2021.
Great placed to visit!
I’m definitely will be making another visit someday and hoping to visit when it’s winter.
Feels weird rewatching this knowing that D&S's steamers/mikados are no longer coal-fired. Well technically K36 481 is still coal-fired but the rest fleet of the operational engines are all oil-fired being 473, 476, 480, 482 & 493.
I think it’s a Good place to Visit
Wow, D&S will always put on a spectacular show that it will still go on forever!
It's a great place to visit!
Durango & Silverton will always put on a marvelous show and it will never stop
They are a class act

One of these days I hope I can see this railroad!
You might be mildly interested. Don't bother bringing your drone. Pretty bland scenery.

Hi Jonathan!
@@RailwayProductions hi
Does this railroad ever deliver goods to the 2 cities that it serves?
When was this filmed and is that when 478 when out of service to be stored in the round house
#478 was out of service in 2011 and i hear that D&S has a plan to restored #478 but they gonna rebuild it to burn oil
Yes I had the fortune of visit in Sept and saw her in the round house then heard shortly after of the plans to restore her and I believe 486 both to oil but I believe they are going to convert 481 to oil first since she’s operational then 486 after 478 which I believe they said they hope to start work next year
@1:57 I wonder what railroad that steam whistle belongs to.
What happened to 1 or 2 coaches in South of Cascade Westbound 21:07
