Jimmy Crute is an Australian professional mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Light Heavyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Crute was the former Australian Hex Fight Series Light Heavyweight Champion. As of April 18, 2023, he is #13 in the UFC light heavyweight rankings.
"Phar” Jack Jenkins is an Australian professional mixed martial artist in the UFC featherweight division. - Sport
I love the vibe of watching high-level but relaxed energy rolling like this, really enjoy the slow pace for getting to see the techniques over time
The triangle set up at the beginning against Crute is the exact same set up Craig used in his early competitions as a purple belt. So nice. There is a compilation on CZcams of him in the early days hitting this over and over with old school hip hop in the background. Love it.
What was even better that bottom arm of Craig’s was pinned. Not only did he break it free he managed to apply two on one control of his own, which began the triangle set up. The way he “saved” his bottom arm was mind blowingly simple.
Isoheath compilation
A leg triangle? Where was that at?
These UFC dudes are so good at just blasting up from bottom Mount
Holy shit that sweep at 2:35 was so clean
Had to replay it like 10 times just cause it was so sweet
The ole reach around
Works pretty good on low level ppl
@@LOLLYPOPPE seems like it works pretty good on professional fighters too.
@@Name-ql7jf Octopus guard. If you want to see it in an MMA situation watch the BJ Penn vs Matt Hughes fight.
Jenkins is such a good fighter, really glad to see him working with Craig. Can’t wait for his next matchup
Lads please release an hooded Mexican ground karate jumper in your merch store.
I will buy this
@Samuel Cook I've been pleading for months in different videos. 😆Wouldn't even mind spending a premium price for an high quality jumper cause its cold as fuck in Ireland.

Incredible how that Jack lad can fight at 145. These cuts today are insane.
How much you suppose he weighs?
@@juntjoonunya9216at least 260
Just love how controlled, slow paced it is but so high level from Craig. My gym be scrambling for days😂
Gutdam. Why is he so outrageously excellent?! Never mind heel hooks. His Jiu Jitsu is so innovative and funky yet so effortless and effective. I was both: entertained and educated. Thank you for the upload.
I could be wrong but it seemed to me that Craig was allowing them to get advantages and letting them work. He seemed very relaxed and in control.
His job is to make them better. SImple as that.
16:35 back control/finishing perfection
All these guys are really good! I expected to see Craig steam roll them but this was an excellent watch thanks guys 🙏
He probably could have but looked to me like was playing more. Unless that’s his style. Personally, I like to see him neutralize the scrambles and attack little more. Be more aggressive. But seemed to me likes to play jiujitsu
Very nice content for the channel Craig, great hug from Arg, you can always roll here too
Please remember. Craig is not fighting for money, he is training. The kill instinct is in the cage. He is teaching. Awesome to watch.
Great vid good rolls was good to see some familiar faces from BJJ and MMA mixing it up together
Craig looks so heavy when hes rolling with the boys. The slow pace is brilliant to watch.
Great rolls!!
4:51 he put him in a situation where if he puts his back on ground he gets arm triangled and if he goes the other way he gets his back taken, classic "let ur opponent choose his fate" move, wish i can be half as good one day 😢
I dont ever understand why people would give up their back in a submission grappling context vs getting mounted. Because hes grappling in a MMA context of turtle to stand back up it cost him getting submitted
I can never tell how much of Craig’s gas tank comes from cardio vs how much comes from never having to try hahaha
Craig looks tremendously heavy when he's passing and loose and slippy when you're trying to pass him. He's a good one to watch in terms of what your body should be trying to do given your position.
Jack Jenkins is crazy fucking smooth in his transitions.
I love these open air gyms
Jimmy is a bjj black belt and Craig makes its look so easy
That transition 4:40 . Even Jimmy was :D
Inspiring stuff lads thank you!
That reversal from side control at the 2:40 Mark might be the realist shit I ever seen. Take note
Jenkins looked impressive! I expect big things in his UFC career!
Just started bjj last month always loved watching it but watching now is different Craig is unreal to watch
Yo where can we get the Coogie style rash guard and shorts that Ive seen Kreg rocking?
Un régal de regarder Craig tourner depuis la 🇫🇷
So interesting watching Craig Jones give other men a reach around in the gym
the levels are actually insane.... its like almost hard to wrap your head around
How is the audio better on this than when they do a Podcast with microphones ????
audio still would have benefited greatly from a "dead cat", but this was most likely just filmed with a phone anyways
Straight rolling with animals…great cardio and control. The first few years of Juiji my skin peeled off my feet and fingers…
poor baby...
Your coach was putting too much bleach on the mats mate, that’s not normal
@@Name-ql7jfbetter than not enough i guess
this guy is a legent also really cool dude
Nice roll with "Jack Jenkins". Just looked him up. Newer UFC fighter. I know they're just "flowing" but he looks pretty proficient
He's also broken multiple opponents legs with leg kicks. I believe 3 different guys. Nasty dude on the feet. Think he looked pretty proficient on the ground here too.
@@trevorjones4854 wow, that's insane. I'll have to look up his fights
2:10 Crute threatens a von flue choke, I'm surprised Jones would hold onto the neck while getting passed like that
That is a gorgeous training area.
Jimmy, you past Craig’s guard. Take that as a win! I doubt many people can do that.
Was watching that and thinking did Craig *let* him pass?
Damn-following Jack Jenkins after that roll
athletic start
2:35 Holy shit that reversal was fire 🔥
The guillatine bait at 2:36 sweep right to mount… Jesus
13:29 joke was perfect! hahaha
26:13 was slick !
Jack Jenkins is a one to watch prospect, dudes broken the legs of like 4 of his last 5 opponents
"I started jujitsu so I could teabag people often" - Craig Jones
2:02 No easy task passing Craig’s guard and holding side control like that.
Craigs letting them work.
jimmy did a "just stand up" to Craig though 😁
I got to roll with Jimmy up in Bendigo when I was a white belt and he was a brown belt (2017). I still have nightmares about his top-pressure.
What about when you guys were rolling?
I can't imagine the kind of grappling cardio needed here.
Craig, in terms of raw sexuality, where would you rank yourself in comparison with someone like John Danaher ? Awesome video Bro, thanks ! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
No Way, Scott is my coach. This is awesome to see him mixing it with Craig!
Where do ya train out of?

Makes me wonder how these top level grapplers would do in top level MMA. I think explosive guys like Nicky Rod would translate very well honestly once he got some decent striking
Probably don't want the punches to the head, I reckon.
ruotulos would transition very well to mma too
@@stankanovic yeah I heard kade is going to transition to MMA.
Nicky Rod would do good because of his wrestling background. The rest of them would have the same fate as Kron Gracie.
why did jimmy crute tap 1:40 just bc he felt the leg lock exchange would be hopeless w craig?
He dont want to risk it and get injured
correct
He was ezikial choking /punch choking him
That’s the leg that had an ACL reconstruction a little while ago
@@jasonleonard7775 lol, that's definitely not an Ezekiel choke.
what brand is craig’s rash guard
Craig just flowing on guys
I tap to heel hooks and leg attacks like Jimmy crute......wayyyyyy early
where is this place?
What kind of choke was that at 3:54? That was sick!
Looked like an Ezekiel of some sort
8:55 had me lmao
Craig jones is a legend
2:42 listen to that boi breeve
3:54 Sneaky Zeke
these guys are doing amazingly well against Craig considering he is a hyper specialist and they aren't
Holy guac, another great sigma moment from Craig Jones 😮
Craig will meet his match when he goes up against the second best UFC fighter
So what is it that makes craig so damn good? Is he overly strong for his size or his technique? I've always wondered
Definitely technique, he is using minimal strength and getting maximal results.
For some reason I thought Crute was more kickboxer. Didn't know he was a black belt
If you know DeBlass life story with his father....you know this moment is WAY beyond BJJ
If you havent heard it check out DeBlass on Jocko when they discuss his book and part of his life
Craig Jones is too good for most!
Craig's rash guard looks like what pins and needles feel like
That farting sound is not the mats, Craig drank the water from the faucet in Thailand.
I wish my school would teach proper rolling technique like this. Most of the blue belts and white belts still dont understand how to do this. They do everything 200mph and dont focus on learning and mastering the movements. looking for other schools, hopefully will find some beter ones soon.
your watching people who make a living from martial arts stops expecting everyone at your local gym to be like this and youl have a much better time.
Crute a good grappler
Craig thick. Sheesh!
Shout out to josie
If the fighters are allowed to punch him down, do you think Craig would still win?
16:46 know it's Craig on his back but shouldn't he have at least tried to switch onto the locking hand after giving up the chin hand? At least that's the main defense for mma
Edit: oh he trapped the other arm. What about using the one hand on the locking hand?
Let’s see Craig Jones versus MMA fighters. BJJ is a completely different sport.
I absolutely love watching muscular sweaty men wrestle
Crute is a tank.
Craig's an A10
B TEAM. THE BEST TEAM!!!
the power of colors... psychedelic jiu jitsu! 🌈🌈🌈🎨
Ezekiel'd him at 4:00 mark. lol
12:02 Who sneaks mount in that easy? Craig Jones lol
12:37
gottem
Moves like he is greased
Max was here
Jenkins was good damn
10:40
here for the sweet licks
czcams.com/video/HOyyh70B2Ko/video.html Jimmy's like, how can i snap this little squids arm off to release the pent up steam from Craig.
Shoulda put him in the old fart bar
I don't think many people realise that Jack Jenkins just beat Craig in that round. Craig couldn't get anything working and Jack was getting the submission in the positions WAY deeper than Craig was
It really looked to me like Craig was letting him go for the sake of flowing when the positions where getting stuck instead of chasing after subs
Put the gloves on Craig
Jimmy should've just stood up
he basically did from bottom mount numerous times, lol
@@luiscruz5556 😂😂 I know
It’s crazy because he’s barely even trying lmao. Like he’s rolling blue belts
That triangle at 1:15 was the tits
