Thank you!! And believe it or not I do get it. It always made me really happy when my drafting skills were good enough to emulate artists I looked up to. I'm just glad that my original work is starting to shape up to a similar level

I really enjoyed listening to you talk about your drawings and about art in general; I loved hearing you be so passionate about it! You and a couple other gen z artists I recently started watching have such similar styles. Is there a particular artist yall were inspired by? Besides general manga/anime and TikTok/social media inspo, I mean. Your style is distinctly yours but there’s something about the way y’all draw faces and use color that feels convergent
This is a really great question. I'm doing a Q&A video soon so I can answer it more in depth there but I'd say it's a combination of influences from both American and Japanese comics and animation and how those influences have affected both me and the artists who have been online longer than me who I learned from. I'd say that my style is very manga influenced in the way I draw faces and do line work, but my coloring style tends to be pretty saturated in the vein of shows like: Steven universe, gravity falls, adventure Time, RWBY, and Avatar the last airbender. I don't think it can really be traced back to one artist or series but it's definitely a melting pot of series and smaller artists that I follow online. But I think a good indicator would be the artist that I shout out in my videos as doing studies of their work.

Hey I love your art keep up the great work. I was wondering if you knew some paper that doesn’t bleed with markers?
Thank you! You should check out crescent rendr no show Sketchbooks. Alcohol markers don't bleed at all with them. I'm also a big fan of using loose leaf canson mixed media paper and just gluing it into my sketchbooks (It bleeds a lot but if you tape it in you won't know the difference)
