That is a good idea to change that over but if you check my channel on simplicity Broadmoor proper oil change it has a rubber hose on it already about six to eight inches long I might convert my John Deere x580 to that a 6 to 8 in hose with breath coupler at the end thanks for that ideal never thought about it take care stay safe and be strong

You could tie-wrap the new drain tube to the oil filler tube.
